Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Worlds on East Coast

It is true they put them in spots where there are tons of vacation resorts/stuff.

Still, I don't think it would hurt if you had it in New York, you know? We've got Central Park, the whole upper west side of Manhattan, etc. I go to school in Manhattan and it takes like 1.5 hours to get it but it's worth it because of the scenery. Just got to hope the bad weather (AKA Rain) goes away!

Let's just see if they change their "trend" of area for next year. We can only hope....

Yeah Im pretty sure everyone including Overseas players would enjoy a trip to NYC!! So much site seeing and things to do not to mention that there are food vendors on almost every corner (ahem St. Louis).

^^^^^ I am just glad you found the same corner for food that we did. Thanks again for returing my wife's jacket!!!!

Worlds most likely wont be held outside of US for a lot of reasons, including that US has the biggest player base and it would cost them a LOT to ship out all of the paid trip winners overseas.

As long as we get NY for anything, that's fine with me. Your point of logic does make sense though, Pokepop.

There's so many things to do here though it isn't even funny. Not to mention the fact we have not one but TWO HUGE airports (LGA and JFK), both like 15 minutes away from my house (so if they ever choose to have it in NY, you guys can crash at my house xD). Also the food in some places might be a bit expensive but they are excellent quality, many classy restaurants reside in Manhattan. For those who are looking into going to college, NY has NYU and Columbia, so you can take a look while you're around, Jacob Javits also have a bunch of boat/sightseeing rides around so yeah...

Oh and we also have Nintendo World and Rockefeller Center~

NY probably won't have nats, because usually nats is in the middle of the country. And Worlds is not likely to be held in Cancun anytime soon, seeing as Mexico is dangerous right now because of Swine Flu and drug wars.

Anyone think we should have Worlds on the east coast? It's only been on the west coast. New York would be a good place. It could be in the Jacob Javits center, which is huge. No reason why this couldn't work. Any thoughts?

another great place is the Rhode island civic center ( now known as the donkin donuts center) massive building, massive mall across the street, hotels across the street, food EVERYWHERE. when we go to worlds this year i wonder how it will be.

RI center is the best i can think of, it has EVERYthing within 1/4 of a mile

yes cause when i think about great destinations i think of the smallest state in the country

Nats in NYC sound amazing actually, its too costly though. Im disagreein with the worlds becoming a vacation break simply because it ends at saturdays instead of sundays which makes no sense at all :nonono:
