yeah, i think he meant the night eyes attack when he wrote lullaby.
So, if that is what was meant, then misdreavous/hypno WOULD work.

Thats what I meant, I didn't have the card in front of me, so I guessed at the name.

I don't see what the big deal is about Hypno. He has to be active for his power to be used. And you can either keep the active pokemon asleep and attack for 30 or turn, which is exactly like Dark Gengar's attack, or you can choose a new Pokemon to gust with. But if you choose a new one it wont be asleep anymore! You would be better off using Dark Gengar alone without Hypno. But I COULD see it being used with Dodrio, to have a 50% chance of not being attacked every single turn(25 with Dark Gengar.) I like Prime's combo. I am going to mostly being using the card for it's gust effect. I am really unhappy about GoW being out of Modified ... but this solves my problem! :-) Anyway, this really is a fabulous cars if you know how to use it. Wow. I'm still reeling over this.

That wouldn't work. Here's the card Text.
Night Eyes: The Defending Pokémon is Asleep.
Perish Song: If the Defending Pokémon is Asleep and was attacked with Night Eyes during your last turn, it is Knocked Out.
Sorry.
You could use Hypno as backup. Use Night Eyes, then if the defending Pokemon wakes up before then, use Hypno. [ January 09, 2003, 03:27 PM: Message edited by: Orange Soda ]

How about this combo? Misdreavus + Hypno + DODRIO Since both of those Pokémon have 1 Retreat Cost, eliminate them with one Dodrio, and you've got a pretty potent plan!

No, it WOULD work, the Defending Pokemon WAS attacked by Night Eyes, and it IS Asleep, whether Hypno is used or not, the card doesn't say it has to be Asleep by effects of Night Eyes, so if your opponent woke it up, then Hypno puttign it to sleep wouldn't change the attack's effect.

WHOA! If the number of energy cards attached to your active pokemon is more than the number of energy cards attached to the defending pokemon, you may choose one energy card out of your opponent's discard pile and attach it to that Pokemon....
Looks up Espeon's attack quickly, then jumps to Expedition Alakazam..
Boy, how about laying a dark energy on a baby, such as cleffa, elekid or tyrogue, or a metal on tyrogue. There is no energy flow, so it would be a great way to stop the dark and metal energy from getting back to your opponent's big pokes.
Looks up E-Amphy's power - move a lot of energy to a baby active, use the power, retreat, move the energy again! Whoa! Combo with Pokemon Tower, for all sorts of wild combos!
This card will be the base of some rogue decks. but it's attack is weak, and it is weak to electrabuzz. Sorry, nice try, but this won't be viable. A supporter card has to be able to protect itself. Maybe a bizarre espy/combo deck. Maybe not.
We shall see.

PokéPOWER - Strange Tentacles Once during your turn (before your attack)as long as the number of Energy cards attached to the Defending Pokémon is less than the number of Energy cards attached to your Active Pokémon, you may choose an Energy card, if any, in your opponent's discard pile and attach it to the Defending Pokémon. This power cannot be used if Tentacruel is affected by a Special Condition.

I'm sorry, but that Tentacruel is probably just about the sweetest card we've seen here so far. I have a STRONG feeling it will be more than just rogue... It's great, it can be splashed into any kind of Psychic (the attack, not the type) deck. Namely Espeon though since it's the best card that does Psychic. This deck would RIP Entei/cargo seeing as they discard Energy often and Tentacruel re-attaches it to give Espeon the ability to KO. [ January 10, 2003, 12:20 PM: Message edited by: kurobatto ]
