Mewtwo, Darkrai, Rayqauza EX ALL to be tin Promos in Fall

Would have liked to see them keep these cards out of tins until at least around a year after their release. Oh well, Terrakion EX and Mew EX should be $50 cards in the near future.

The thing about Terrakion EX is that it counters Darkrai EX, which will make up about 30+% of the field at any given tournament, as every bad player will be running it because they're releasing it in a tin.

i think mew will be worth like tornadus ex/raikou ex. i honestly doubt that we get any 50$ in the next set

I traded my Golden Catcher for a Darkrai at league last night, AS THIS WAS BEING UPLOADED. My luck... This is still great news, since it makes Mewtwo and Darkrai affordable at last. Also, this will teach people not preorder cards for $80, so hopefully the price of cards should finally start to stabilize. So I guess it's a mixed blessing.

The strangest part is that yesterday I was discussing with someone on another site that Mewtwo has a good chance of a reprint. . My birthday will be around this time so I know what to ask .

Looking at previous tins, my guess is these tins will have 1x ND, 2x Dark Explorers, and 2x Dragons Exalted or 1x ND, 1x DE and 2x Dragons Exalted.

The original BW tins had Reshiram/Zekrom, who would have gone for stupid prices otherwise, since the metagame revolved around them at the time (more so than Mewtwo).

Then go to Yugioh where pretty much every set has something over $30 which will get reprinted but will have another $$$ card or 2 in it's place.

Seriously, I understand where your coming from because pulling something valuable is always nice but at least they're giving everyone the chance to get the money cards. Is that a bad thing now?

And people who have these cards still have time to sell them and buy them again and collectors will probably keep them if they have them. Meanwhile, the people who want Mewtwo and Darkrai but couldn't afford them can now get them.

I just realized how many tins i intend to buy(two mewtwo, two/three darkrai, two or three rayquaza), and how decent a deal it really will be. And that Shiny Catcher is now the last "money card" left. I like the idea that the only money card is just an upgrade, but still worth its golden weight.

No point in selling them if you want to use them...im not going to worlds this year anyways....lol Pokemon always does this...you try to get the good cards then they get tinned....I don't think that's fair....must mean those EXs won't be as good in August....
