Pokémon X and Y: Greek Mythology Merciless Monsters

TBH, I think some Pokemon could fit a certain character's roster even if they're not of the exact same type. Examples: *Hecate could use Vulpix and Ninetales or Psyduck and Golduck. *Poseidon could use a Stunfisk. *Dionysus could use the Florges line. *Hephaestus, having been the blacksmith of...

    Rotation announced!

What's funny about this is that almost every iconic card from the first 3 BW sets were reprinted in later sets. I think the only things we're losing are cards that have already worn out their welcomes on the competitive scene anyway (e.g. Pokemon Communication). So the format will pretty much...

    2013-07-13 PLF Rock Guard 108

This would be a fantastic normal trainer, but it's not worth your Ace Spec option when you have Scramble Switch and Computer Search at your disposal. 6/10

EX Battle Boost - Will We Ever See It?

Does Blastoise/Keldeo-EX/Ninetales seem interesting to anyone? And they missed an important part of Imakuni?'s text: "Imakuni? wants you to play him as a Basic Pokemon, but you can't."

    2013-05-29 PLF Kyurem 031

I dreaded this card being released for the first week or so Plasma Freeze was out. Then I got 2 in the booster box I bought. 9/10.

    Beartic/Snorlax/Umbreon Deck

I see your point about Tool Scrapper and Garbodor, though I doubt Garbodor's going to be the most problematic thing you have to deal with. Anyway, yeah, go ahead and try these decks yourself if you want.

    Beartic/Snorlax/Umbreon Deck

Yeah, I've gone back and forth between thinking that Beartic was useless and destructive. If there was any missing link it didn't get in Plasma Storm, it's Umbreon, so if that doesn't make it good, I can't think of anything else that would help it beyond that (that will get released in the next...

    BW-on Umbreon Support Deck

I've been fooling around with Umbreon-based decks for the last couple weeks, and here are some of my thoughts: *My first advice would be to ditch the Glaceons and play Float Stone instead; Glaceon gives -2 retreat, but Float Stone gives free retreat without giving up 1 (or 2) prizes in the...

    Beartic/Snorlax/Umbreon Deck

About two weeks ago, I posted a deck idea involving using Umbreon as a cornerstone of his own deck (you can find it here). This time, I'm using it as a support Pokemon with Pokemon that like having Umbreon give them extra HP (specifically, Beartic and Snorlax). Pokemon: (14) 2-2 Beartic Plasma...

    2013-05-20 PLF Eevee 090

IMO the better of the two Eevees. Even if you can only get 1 out at a time, at least you'll be able to play it next turn (unless you get N'd).

    Umbreon/Darkrai/Deoxys Deck Idea

Sorry for the late response, but after reading the responses I got from you, I'm thinking of making these changes: -3 Ghetsis -1 Colress -1 Team Plasma Ball -1 Deoxys-EX +2 N +1 Dark Patch +1 Absol +2 Ultra Ball

    Missed Pokemon from BW

I've got a couple I'd contribute myself: Skorupi 70HP :psychic: Weakness: :psychic:x2 Resistance: Retreat Cost: :colorless: :colorless: Bug Bite 10 Discard a Pokemon Tool attached to the Defending Pokemon (before applying any other effects of that card). :psychic: Poison Jab 20...

    2013-05-16 PLF Umbreon 064

This is one of those cards that's not exactly required for all good Plasma decks, but can prove itself to be a godly asset in the decks that do use it. Stackable +20HP is great for allowing some of the non-EX Pokemon that want a chance to compete have that chance, or to allow bulkier EXes to...

    Umbreon/Darkrai/Deoxys Deck Idea

This is an idea I've had for quite some time now, so I figured I'd share it here (I've also posted this on PTCGO). Here we go: Changes made are italicized. Pokemon: (14) 4 Eevee (SoE variety) 4 Umbreon PF 1 Leafeon PF 3->2 Deoxys-EX 2 Darkrai-EX 0->1 Absol Trainers: (32) 4 Colress Machine 4...

    2013-05-11 PLF Flareon 012

Could potentially pair with Exeggcute/Weavile variations, but you still need to have a LOT of Pokemon in the discard pile to get substantial damage out of Vengeance. 6/10; it's decent, but I still prefer Umbreon and Leafeon over it.

    2013-05-09 PLF Leafeon 011

Paired with Deoxys-EX for extra damage output and Umbreon for HP support, this card's a menace. Energy Crush just cripples Blastoise/Keldeo, and Terrakion's gonna have to be alert as well. 7/10

Plasma Eeveelutions - Is there hope?

Well, all the Plasma Eeveelutions have been shown in English, and I for one am eager to discuss their potential. Here are my personal takes on each of them: Vaporeon - Sadly, the card-makers seem to have some random animosity towards this Eeveelution, as it really hasn't had a solid...

    Plasma freeze spoiler?

I almost agree with you about the Eeveelutions, except I'd say Jolteon's the worst.

    Deoxys Ability Ruling

Frankly, I hope Deoxys-EX doesn't include itself, as its attack is already at an X-Ball-on-steroids level. Besides, it stacks anyway, so it can still power up other Plasma Pokemon's attacks to nigh-ridiculous levels.

    2013-02-28 PLS Beartic 041

I think this card's gonna become solid next set once it can use support from cards like Umbreon and Deoxys-EX. Until then, it's still good, but shouldn't be a main attacker IMO. Powerful Rage can be played around (unless you're using Reuniclus...and who plays that nowadays anyway?), but...
