    BW9 Hammertime

Honestly, you aren't going to beat any archetype in the format without dark patches. Energy acceleration is crucial in this deck. Keldeo which was already a tough matchup is now a near autoloss because even they can probably out speed you, anything fighting(Landy, Terrakion) is on level playing...

    Cheating in Pokémon TCG

I was accused of cheating once years ago. It was for marked cards which is a little different than what most people in here are talking about, but still, being accused of cheating is still being accused of cheating. I believe someone after playing me claimed I was getting all of my cards when I...

Los Gatos, it's A Flying Gato Thing!

I tried this a couple years ago before Mew was released and I just couldn't get the steady damage output from it. http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=78019 But with Mew, Rhypherior finally has a good partner, and you don't have to clog up the deck with its earlier stages. List looks...

The Top 50 Pokémon Cards of All Time as told by Ness

I stand corrected. I didn't really play last season..but I ran into no SP decks during States/Cities that used Claydol in their builds, then anything I heard of after that didn't run Claydol either. But that probably was just in NE..I stand corrected. I still would take Pidgeot over claydol...

The Top 50 Pokémon Cards of All Time as told by Ness

Pidgeot was vital in just about every deck. Claydol not being vital in SP decks IMO prove that it isn't as good as Pidgeot. The best types of decks out last format didn't really run it. It is a beast and both Pidgeot and Dol are the best search/draw pokemon of all time, but getting any one card...

The Top 50 Pokémon Cards of All Time as told by Ness

Yea, Pidgeot should be above Claydol IMO. Every good deck during that format ran it..sometimes even if they were complete staage 1 decks.

Pidgeot? Claydol? ER was already used..and I don't think Luxury Ball or Steelix will be in the top 10.

The Top 50 Pokémon Cards of All Time as told by Ness

Pidgeot >> Claydol. There's still a lot of good cards we haven't seen yet..the top 20 will be interesting.

    machamp

I doubt Gyarados sees much play this year..some of the best cards in the deck have been rotated. Really the only thing I'd worry about is Gengar/Tomb/Plume. And SP is about half of the format as far as competitive decks go. That's half of the format you basically autowin against. Not a bad...

The Top 50 Pokémon Cards of All Time as told by Ness

It isn't just the best cards..a lot of it is the impact the cards made on the game during its particular format. So things like Pidgeot FR/LG, Holon Transceiver, Slowking, etc. will probably place pretty high just because of the brokenness in the format they were in.

Are SP decks the best to play?

I always find it funny how people say "And now this deck is teching this..." when the season hasn't even started yet. If you tech it, speak for yourself..but that doesn't mean the majority of people do it or are going to do it. And I'm speaking on both sides here because both sides have said...

Con's late 9th worlds report! with list!

Whats up Con..you probably don't remember me by the name but I'm one of Gino's friends from NE..should have talked him out of playing Sablelock lol...good job on 9th though.

    LuxPluff

Well obviously I said Spiritomb wasn't the play..but that's not because he runs trainers is all I'm saying...it's because you want a better starter(Pachi) to get you basics for a turn or two before you start to attack.

    LuxPluff

Rare candy too but you can just retreat and use it when you're ready..it doesn't matter for spiritomb..Plox and cursegar use both fairly easy.

    LA-LA-LA Plume

Good deck..I'd suggest maybe a couple Mesprits to keep some kind of lock going at all times? Plus they don't get affected by Miasma..just something to consider, list looks good though.
