Now where have I heard that before :( Seems it is hard to plug a laptop into a phone line and enter a chat room, I suppose this means no rules chats either at the moment?

As soon as you have all the details about why it may be difficult for us to set up an official chat from our current offices, where you don't reside, you let us all know. Until then, we'll be working on the things that we CAN do right now, as opposed to the things we can't.

Although others choose to take the rude road to ask questions I too would like to say thanks to you and MTjimmer for popping on the sites the last couple of days. Remember guys gotta take the baby steps before you take off running, so try having a little patience instead of always complaining, it's getting old!!!

Let me say that as long as everyone believes that this is the place to make official complaints, rather than sending those reports and complaints to us at PUI, this will in fact continue.

If you think we don't care about this stuff, you couldn't be more wrong.

However, we can't do anything about it when anonymous posts are made in a forum like this. I've been singing this same song since last summer, and it's barely made a dent in the way that people on this forum behave in regards to official action.

You want official action, email one of the official addresses. Trust me, we actually do work on this stuff.

Thanks,
Professor Dav

Sorry, did I translate this correct???????
So come on everyone send you reports and complaints to the official addresses and wait till they mail you back that they want everything combined in one email with one contactperson.
LOL

How the international team prefers to conduct their side of POP contacts is up to the international team. Everyone is welcome to contact us at the official addresses, just as you do regularly Lia.

Your complaints have nearly all been strictly about the distributor we've chosen, and you don't like in the Netherlands, we've told you on a number of occasions that you can either work with them, or not, and that they have that same choice regarding working with you.

Oh and BTW when will we see transcripts of the PUI Rules chats?

Unless you sign an NDA, never. The discussion sometimes gets into areas that we have agreed to keep confidential.

Never knew that rulings got to be such an "iffy" conflict...

Why can't we have a transcript and remove the sensitive bits? Chrisbo did not have a hard time doing that for years.
-Phil

The summary of rulings is posted every week in the ATMT forum.
What else did Chrisbo post?
Everything else is considered confidential unless we are told otherwise.
And, like the info on Worlds that we posted a week or so ago, we post what we have been given permission to post.

Umm so basically that person wants to play without being known to the public and if won a HUGE event would want the world to know them as naught reeul for personal reasons is basically what you're saying? Interesting... seeing as everyone thinks it's cool to have their REAL/reeul name known... but hey what ever floats their boat. I dunno about the rest of the people on here but I for one don't buy this, for starters we have no CLUE who you are you're just a random name on here with no real identity... GymLeaderphil and the people who are saying that however are known and have been known for a while in the pokemon tcg world... so umm I'm gonna believe them.

I also would like to thank Dave he's been extremely helpful to me, I'm really getting impressed with Nintendo now, I wasn't sure at first how it would be without wizards but I ain't missing it that much. Wizards did a very good job but nintendo is just getting started and they aren't doing too bad. I'm liking it!

BK,

If you are going to continue to make up lies, at least tell the same ones each time. naught reuul did not have enough losses to be this BYE entry. All of his/her/its early matches were wins, not losses, so unless you are in the business of penalizing players for byes this is not true.

You claim that James quit a while ago, but your psuedonym above said he is still playing. And no one from your gym told Phil any stories.

I could go on and on, but it is not worth the effort.

MODs, please close this topic. It's getting way too deep.

I've received quite a few emails from down South that I've replied and forwarded to POP. One of my friends alerted me to the name Naught Reeul at the Dragon Prerelease. Nobody personally emailed me about Naught Reeul, nor was it one of your "kids". It should not matter who cried fault, the intention was good and to only fix problems.

At that point, while the rankings were up, I scanned over Florida players. I saw and thanks to another friend, have records of all the players to this date. There are people on that list that I've never seen or heard of from Mr. Minnis' events, some with some odd names like Mr. Bye. Feel free to email me for all the rankings.

Sure I reported this, as far back as December. I dont speak for others who knew about it, but I sure as hell reported it to POP. How would the problem be fixed if I didnt report it? I would be at fault if I did not tell POP of wrong doings. The logical step they would take would be to warn you or investigate the situation. Then you would have logically stopped. I believe that you were warned about the situation and even had direct communication with certain employees with Pokemon USA since last Fall. Let's not kid ourselves here, you have plenty of time to change your tournament practices...

Instead of asking on a message board or directly to POP at that point how to create a bye or if something was completely legal, you continued. If you would have read the Pokemon Floor Rules, there would be no problem. You've submitted false tournament reports, created multiple fake accounts for your tournaments (not to mention on message boards), used DCI Reporter in almost all of your sanctioned events including the City Champs, and still have the crazy notion that you can attack other Floridians with sly comments here and on your message board. Not to mention a very long topic bashing Sensei.

And you attack me for responding to this topic.

The real ignorance on your part is that I did not even start the topic and there are plenty that feel the same way I do about this situation. Pointing me out in a crowd of people I dont even know personally is just plain ignorance.

I seem to remember a certain Naught Reeul posting on the PokeSchool message boards. James (whatever his fake last name is) sure wrote a lot like yourself. Boy, it would sure be interesting to check some IP addresses on those accounts there and on your message board.
-Phil

I won't touch on most of this since I have no first or even second hand knowledge but...

It sure has been intertaning to watch so stupid of a crowd saying so many stupid things. we in south florida are having a big laugh at your expense.

And what is so stupid about thinking a player named "Naught Reeul" is a pseudonym for "Not Real"? Seems reasonable to me. If anything, setting it up, for whatever reason, falls more into that category. Given what issues this has put on your plate, deserved or not, it seems odd that you're "laughing" about it.

Amazingly enough, not one person has ever contacted me asking for the truth on these matters, but you put complete confidence in a 16 year old twerp who's original beef with me is that I acted in a manly way to his fustrated advances to my person. Be ashamed!

The only ones that count as regards to contacting you is PUI.

You were free to respond on the boards or ask that the topic be locked or deleted. You never did any of those things, until now.

And the comment about Phil making "advances" pretty much throws all credibility you may have had out the window. A pretty low technique. Are you sure you don't want to accuse him of being a card-carrying Communist, too?

PokePop, once someone admits to lying and filing false tournament reports, why would anyone care what else they had to say? Didn’t the DCI actually win a court case when they sued a TO for filing false MTG reports a couple years back? Of course they had cash on the line, not just trips to FLA…

What I can’t understand, and maybe Professor Dav can shed some light here, is why Nintendo continues to allow this TO to host tournaments? I don’t see how any of the prior tournament results posted by this person can be trusted either.

Nintendo should delete all of this persons records from the ratings system, ban them from posting any further tournament reports, and then consider whether or not the damage they have done to the ratings and their own honest player’s records warrants any legal action.

Sorry guys, I cannot comment on an investigation into another player or TO on a forum such as this one.

I understand and respect your position.

Thanks for making the post and telling us what you can.

Phil touched on something that I forgot. BK is now claiming the naught reuul is in fact not real but was instead a dummy used for byes. If you look on the pokeschool boards naught reuul made 15 posts, even using BK's computer (BK is so kind to others).

I sent a copy of BK's post to his score keeper/assistant today and she responded back stating that she did none of the things that BK gave her credit for. Her words were (paraphrased) that "BK handles all of the distribution of POP IDs."

None of the things that BK has said (or forced others to say) about miss Heidi, mr Curry, or Phil are true. It's too bad that we can pass judgement instantly but a corporation like Nintendo has to take its time and verify EVERTHING. Otherwise this would have ended months ago and [BK]Minnis (BK's real name) would be gone.

Now can someone PLEASE close this thread !!!

[Don't reveal someone's real name on the internet!
If he wanted to post his real name, that's his business to do so or not!
And we'll close it the instant BK or Naught Reeul requests that it be closed.
Pop]

Of course, since the DCI has no jurisdiction over Pokemon anymore, he could play in POP anytime he wants to.

Edit: Oh my! Scott Gerhardt has been banned from DCI!

Think about it this way for just a moment.

If you were being accused of all or any of the things that others here are being accused of, would you not want POP to do a full, thorough investigation into the facts of what happened?

Or, would you simply want POP to suspend you at the whim of another person's accusations?

We will always do the former, as much as it may pain us to do so, because it's the fair thing to do.
