No offense, but we should not have wait this long. Lets stop wasting time and make it official, its not like this is a hard decision.

I feel like it's pretty stupid that we've had to wait this long for an announcement in the first place. Of course we are going to speculate; we are very used to knowing what is up at this point in the year. We are about a month behind schedule here; I'd really like to know what to start testing going forward.
 
If it hasn't been announced yet, there's probably a reason. Take into account that X/Y timing might have required extra discussion with Japan, or something like that. I mean, I'm impatient too, but I'd prefer a properly thought out format over sloppy decisions being made to meet the usual pre-Nats timing.
 
ExoByte is confirming that the rotation or otherwise has not been announced. It isn't over till the Snorlax sings.

[ps: why is it called a "rotation" as the removed sets never return?]
 
I wonder why the 'Gym would put this on the front page under "News"? Isn't it just gossip until an official announcement?

Since Germany had the same modified format as the US and everything but japan since... well... pretty much ever.
It is more than just gossip if the german official distributor and tournament organizer calls it next years format.
Additionally it is pretty much the most logical rotation, what would be the point in rotating only a few EX's? ô.o

And forget the "Catcher must be rotated" thing, without catcher many things would run rampant and be much more unbalanced then they are right now.

Some players would prefer that to the current imbalance. Sometimes different is better just by being different.
 
I wanted a deeper more meaningful cut than this, hopefully beach will get cut as well and not be this years worlds promo especially since the event is in Canada... Tropical beach just wouldn't make sense.
 
Amigo's page has been altered. It no longer indicates what the modified format will be for next season.
