Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Choice Of Pokemon

Yep.

Pikachu must be at least LV 9001 by now.

Just, don't try that at home, kids!

I wish they would make a show for the older crowd of pokemon fans that shows what a Shadow Room and Poltergeist look like!

What annoys me is when Piplup defeats Empoleon, etc. It's very unrealistic.

LOL:lol:

no i don't agree with this. I mean really. ash tells them "OKAY! GO RUN IN A CIRCLE AND USE YOUR FLAMETHROWER ATTACK!" then chimchar does it and ash tells him "GREAT! I think that's enough training for now right chimchar?

I don't know about Pikachu at lv. 100, but I think before he goes to the next region, he puts his old Pokemon in his computer so as soon as he catches new Pokemon he can use them right away.

I think it is annoying that not only do teh main character's Pokemon never evolve BUT they also never catch any new ones. It was tolerable teh first season I GUESS... but really? Whatever happened to Gotta Catch Em All? Its rather annoying that Ash and co. do not catch 98% of teh Pokemon they encounter, and then when they do those Pokemon dont evolve. I dont know how much longer they can play teh underdog card in that show.

No offense Professor Chris but next time it probably wouldn't hurt to use the English names for the Anime Characters and Pokemon in the series rather than using the Japanese names of them.

I know Ash doesn't catch any new one's due to the fact that when he first started he needed alot of Pokemon to catch up to his rival Gary but by the end of Johto and Hoenn Ash already had enough Pokemon in his roster even though he freed a few namely Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Primeape, Charizard, and Aipom.

The term "Catch 'Em All" in the series was more due to encounters with new Pokemon not just by catching every one of them including Legendary ones. I think the main thing that kinda annoys me about the series is Team Rocket having to appear in every episode but then again you can't help but like Wobbuffet and Mime Jr. :p

Back when the series began whenever Brock did something perverted Misty would always try to stop him from doing it, now Croagunk does it instead which hurts the humor in it IMO. Other things that annoy me about the series is when are we ever gonna see Ash's father and when will Brock finally get a girlfriend without his Croagunk stopping him from doing it? -___-

Agreed. What creeps me out is that Ash leaves his mom when he is 10 to live alone and when he meets her just says "hi mom" and doesn't even embrace her.

just so you know, Ash is still 10 and will never be 11, 12 or w/e. And yes, the way parents treat their kids and vica versa in the show is kinda.....wrong.

Sure, but notice how they have only talked about Ash's age in like 2 episodes at the beginning of the anime? No one ever has a birthday and thus, they are pretty much immortal....or just doomed to stay a 10 y/o lucky brat. XD

Would you feel lucky to do the same thing each day?
Meeting someone who has a new pokemon that has some kind of problem, then have team rocket appear and beat them with the help of said pokemon, then seeing how the pokemon got over its problems, and travel on - rinse&repeat ...

They probably don't realize they are doing the same thing every day.

Nah, it's the cute Pokemon thing . . . they promote the new starters/easy to get Pokemon that appear in the latest videogames.

They don't make Pokemon that are 'too scary' for kids and overprotective parents. Don't forget that Ash has to battle them, which is more scary than having him use them.

Plus, the anime is mainly about Ash winning against the odds cos he loves his little Pokemon. If he just went around smashing face with Tyranitars and Garchomps, it wouldn't seem right.
but fool, it would be as funny as heck smashing noobs with a ttar

they said it's been a year when they came back to viridian for ash's 8th badge, so he's 11, may's 10, max is 8, misty is 14, dawn is 10, and brock is...does anyone know how old brock is?

Does anyone think it's weird that Brock (looks like) he's in his twenties and he's traveling around with a bunch of kids
