Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Create-a-Set: Teen Titans (COMPLETE!)

Slade's Murkrow
Basic (D) Pokemon
60hp

(Poke-Body)-Slade Shade
As long as Slade's Murkrow is your Active Pokemon and you have 3 or more Pokemon in play with Slade's in their names, the Defending Pokemon can't retreat.

(C)(C) Night Peck(30)

Weakness(L)
Resistance(F)
Retreat Cost

Dkates, Slade Shade shouldn't be a Power, seeing as how you have to use powers and they don't have staying effects. Slade Shade fits as a Body.

Let's keep this set going, people! Good cards, Carrington -- a few are a little boring, but I don't see any problems with any of 'em.

Also, if someone would be so kind as to compile and maintain a list of what cards are in the set so far, I'd appreciate it.

I will probably open slots for Pokemon-ex soon -- after I think of a policy for what cards can and can't be Pokemon-ex for a given character. If you have any ideas on that, please DO NOT POST THEM, but do PM me.

Nice cards, Carrington, but I think that Wailmer's HP is too high. Knock it down to 70 or 80 (it is Wailmer, after all). Also, either lower the cost of the Feebas's Tackle or make it do more damage -- CC for 10 and no effect is just too pitiful, even for a Pokemon with a reputation for being weak.

Welcome aboard, Sunflorazumarill. Hope to see more cards from you soon.

Well, I think it's high time I called for Pokemon-ex. The rules for which Pokemon can be Pokemon-ex will be as follows:

- All Pokemon-ex must be the final evolution of their line; if that's a Basic, fine, but it can't be capable of evolving further.
- For the characters with type-based themes (everyone but Beast Boy and Starfire, in other words), the Pokemon must not only fit that character's type, but it most not have a GBA type that is not within the character's theme. For example, Machamp and Hariyama are acceptable Pokemon-ex for Robin, but Breloom and Medicham are not.
- Bumblebee cannot have Gligar or Flygon as Pokemon-ex, and Aqualad cannot have any Ice-types as Pokemon-ex (not even Water/Ice hybrids). In the case of other characters with two types listed in their theme (such as Slade), both types are considered to contribute to that character's list of possible Pokemon-ex (for example, Slade can have Sableye as a Pokemon-ex).
- All final evolutions that are valid Pokemon for Starfire are also valid for her as Pokemon-ex.
- Beast Boy's Pokemon-ex must be in the Monster breeding group and only in the Monster breeding group -- any Pokemon that is also in another breeding group is considered invalid as a Pokemon-ex for him. Ditto is not considered valid as a Pokemon-ex for Beast Boy.
- The Unown "ban" for this set remains in effect for Pokemon-ex.

I also have a couple of other rules on Pokemon-ex, listed below.
- Do not post more than 2 Pokemon-ex in a post. Also, don't make sequential posts with Pokemon-ex -- once you make a post with Pokemon-ex, someone other than yourself must post at least one card before you can post any more Pokemon-ex. This rule is in place to prevent one person from making all of the Pokemon-ex before anyone else gets a chance.
- Keep them balanced. Just because they're Pokemon-ex doesn't mean these Pokemon should be gamebreaking to the point that a player who gets one of them into play is basically guaranteed the win.

I realize that some characters have more valid Pokemon-ex than others. I'm not going to put further restrictions on the characters that have more valid Pokemon-ex, or open up extra Pokemon-ex for the ones that are less-represented.

Now that's clever -- a Safeguard Pokemon that is itself a Pokemon-ex. I don't think the cost on Conduction Lightning makes sense, though -- including (M) in the cost for a Pokemon that isn't (and can't be) part-(M) just seems a little much. I think LLC would be sufficient for that attack's cost, considering that this is a Pokemon-ex and the attack has a rather hefty discard cost.

EDIT: Below is a list of Starfire's valid Pokemon-ex.

- Nidoqueen
- Clefable
- Ninetales
- Wigglytuff
- Kangaskhan
- Jynx
- Azumarill
- Miltank
- Blissey
- Delcatty

Azumarill is a bit of a special case -- while it and Marill are actually 50-50, Azurill is 75% female, which qualifies it and its line for Starfire.
