Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

D/P attack type changes...

For some reason, the first thought that came to mind for useful changes was Blaze Kick on Blaziken, and for some reason Crunch on Tyranitar.

I sure am messed up.

Not officially, but think about it... you're crunching down on someone with your teeth. Seems pretty physical to me, so it's pretty much assuredly going to be physical.

Holy shnap, This means Hitmonchan will be USEFUL.

And i really like the change too, It gives the game more depth, And a new level of strategy. I for one hope it's true.

This is a terrible idea. Like others have said, this will completely destroy Pokemon teams.
who cares?

so, your crappy ru/sa pokemon will be useless...

get over it.

Just make a new team in D/P and stfu.

Do you ever have anything good to say?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

And why do you always use a small font Rokman?

Weldon, that was kind of harsh, don't you think?
If people just used half of their brain I wouldn't need to be harsh....

I'll say somehting nice when the world has no more dumb people left. OOPS, that won't ever happen.

No, it wasn't. People who whine that any kind of beneficial change will "destroy" the game in any way just because it means that, for the briefest moment before new "standards" are created, they'll be crippled, unable to play because they'll have no "bests" to use as a guide due to a sheer inability to think on their own, need some sense beaten into their heads. It's the same reason I called BS earlier in this thread—people being stupid. Rokman just knows how to recognize this, nothing more.

I think this is a smart move. I think other RPGs use this too, such that not every elemental attack uses the Special/Magic/(whatever) stat, but instead whether it hits with "magic" or a weapon. For example, in dot-Hack, you have abilities like Thunder Coil, which counts as a physical attack (it has your character slashing with an electrically-charged sword). Maybe this isn't a good analogy, but you get the point...

It can only ever be considered "good" if it wins, now?

well something is usually considered "good" if it is able to win something. You don't know if you don't test it quite a bit first and prove it, and if it loses the majority of the time, then it may be "cool" or perhaps a "novelty", but not good.

Like I've said before, Dragon/Sword Dancers are going to love this. Crunch, Dragon Claw, Punches, perhaps even Knock Off, need I say more?

Knock Off, Swords Danced twice, becomes 80+any other multipliers(which is not hard to pull off with Ninjask). Speaking of, Sneasel/or Weavile now can get STAB for Physical attacks!
