Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

DA RULES ... And How to Become A Verified Seller, All SALES MUST LIST PRICE!!!

Hmmm, I have a comment in regard to one of the latest rules. Perhaps someone can help me. I have a rather large have list - ALL of which I'm hoping to sell at one point or another. However if I'm asked to put a price on everything, I'm sure it would take me months to do that. Can't I just ask for offers, and just let people know if I accept their offers? Or is that a hard and fast rule now?

Hmmm, that's too bad. Ok, sounds kinda unreasonable, but whatever. I'll do what I can to keep within the rules.

Ummm, yeah, I was there when the rules were being made. I know you're just trying to enforce the rules as they stand, but I think what I'm trying to ask is would you guys consider changing the rules, so people could have 2 sales threads and 2 auctions? Would it cause more work for you? I kinda doubt it. Can you please consider it?

Just so you know, this is not me being exasperated with the rules, this is just me asking for the rules to be changed, that's all.

Hi! I'm pksage. Back in 2000-2003, I was a big part of the WotC Pokémon TCG scene as a professional player and a staff member of Pokémon Zeo, a make-your-own-cards website. (If anyone reading this was around back then, my old handle was "PKMNX".) I got out of the TCG when I was about 15, and with that departure went all of my connections to the community. I'm now 22, have lots of WotC-era cards I would like to sell -- and most importantly, sell to people within the community -- but I no longer have any cred. Perhaps more pertinently for the PokéGym, I also have no interest in trading cards (as I'm not an active player or collector), only selling them.

As someone who would like to gain the community's trust enough to sell cards here, what's the best non-trading way for me to meet the qualifications in the OP? Are any card scans still needed that I might be able to provide? If there's no way to do it outside of trading, can I gain trading refs in any way other than actually trading valuable cards for other valuable cards? (I'd like to start selling my collection pretty much as-is.)

I apologize if any of this is obvious stuff, but I didn't see it in glancing over this thread, and being at work precludes me from doing too much more research. Thanks for your patience!

Unfortunately there is no way around it unless you are a PTO as they are the only members who get around the 20 refs and 1 year as mentioned in the rules and how to become a verified seller.

I would try certain auction sites if you want to sell your collection.

Hope this helps, pokemonmike

I have a question. Are there alternative methods of sending/receiving money other than Paypal that are allowed on the gym and which is it? PayPal does not allow receiving money in my country, just sending to other countries. And I assume the 20 iTrader reference go by 20 unique ones.

You can send cash or money order. It is up to the traders to decide. Yes it is 20 unique refs and be a member for at least one year. You also need a clean record as far as reminders and infractions go.

So the rules said I had to post here to be a varified seller and I do have 20 unique iTrader Refs so I guess I'm good to post a sell thread here. Unless Psyduck or another Mod has an objection. Thanks to the Gym and its Staff.

Oh I also have to have been a member for over a Year, thats rough I guess no luck trying to unload some good cards for cash to get by :frown:

You also need to apply for seller privileges.

You can do that through the group memberships area in you User CP.

And be a member in good standing.

so from reading the rules is it safe for me to call myself a verified seller and to open up an auction thread in the auction house?

No it is not. You need to apply and be approved to be a verified seller. Near the bottom of the first post in this thread it tells you how to do it.
