Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Dialgachomp; Galactic Domination.

Promo, obviously. You just said so.

EDIT: nevermind. Also regarding your prize exchange for Machamp, why would a Champ player belt a champ if that doesn't help them with KOing a Croak damage-wise? Rethink that.

1. In Clash at the Summit there is a new card: Machamp Prime. This is the problem...together with Donphan prime it easily deals like 150 damage unbelted with its second attack. I don't think Dialga G X can deal with that. Straight Machamp is not difficult, but this Prime...ugh.

(beat a Dialgachomp with it a few days ago in a tournament...although he tried to snipe a 90 HP Machoke using Garchomp C and failed to kill it)

your deck looks so much better from the time i told you.... why is there donphan in here and you were like. Bro wut?
so i guess gratz on getting your niche good and i will be going down to ft lauderdale to try out your deck soon.

We will not know how good Machamp Prime is until it sees play. Remember, no-one can see the future :p

Thanks bro. I wanted to try a really techy Dialga list but yeah it ended up being very clunky, although I love toolbox decks like that :3

You should definately come down here, energy exchanger sould bring this deck alot higher in the rankings.

Agreed. It will allow a more strict energy line of what you need and definitely increase the consistency as far as energy goes. Cyrus for the M or P and send it back for the sp metal, dce, or warp.

I liked the article, but didn't see a DialgaChomp mirror matchup. I've played it a TON and it seems like the first to Deafen wins. What's the best defense (or offense) against the mirror matchup, especially if my opponent deafens T1?

Mirror is always interesting, and always comes down to this;

Whoever gets the best starting hand of 7 cards wins the game at least 80% of the time. Your objective in mirror is to snipe of their garchomps with yours. I would work on picking ff the bench personally, although I have never played the matchup tbh. It's just common SP sense to Garchomp snipe in mirror.

Power Spraying crucial Uxie will win you the game.

@ Alex - Yes, but it's tough to get out a Garchomp fast enough w/o being able to play trainers. You need to get very lucky. I've been testing a few different fire types as techs... one looks fairly promising.

@Choncey - I agree 100%. I made room for 2 and they have been fantastic.

Collector and Bebe's isn't terribly hard, but I do agree whoever has the better set of seven cards in their hand and either gets the Deafen Lock or the first Garchomp snipe or the first Remove Lost usually wins lol...And I also agree, Energy Exchanger is so good in this deck. You can get pretty much any Special Energy you need at a time when you most need it, which is great for this deck.

dmaster out.

I play mesprits. They work really well, deserving of a spot on the techs list i think. It's so great, especially when you have the deafen lock, to drop a sprit t1 or 2. it helps a lot

I like mesprit alot, but bench space is a factor as well as space alone. With energy exchanger, this deck plays alot better. Vileplum will see mass play, so Dialga should rise as well. I would go for Chatot G over Mespit TBH though, rearrange topdecks to your liking, if you're locking, give them trainers. If you're smashing, give them junk. Poketurn, and a free energy attack.

And lose your own resistance to the most popular type in the format? Nope

Wrong to an extent.

Ruins Of Alph is GAME BREAKING vs Luxchomp. They can't resist you so now they're wating Poke-Turns and such just to avoid being one shotted after a few deafens. Now you can work on building Garchomp while still dealing great damage, and causing trouble and stress to your opponent's active Luxchomp.

If I were you i'd play 3 of them, or 2 and a Conductive. They're too good to not be used.
