Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Did you pre-order YOUR Wii today?

I prolly won't get one till around December since, as stated on GS.com, all pre-orders (including online) have been filled.

I am camping out for both systems, I just want the PS3 to sell on ebay, other than that I am keeping the Wii and getting Zelda (Duh!!), should be fun!!

Ya Prof Chris that's right my bad XD

So lemme get this straight. I got the Wal-Mart flyer today, and it says "Playstation 3 coming Friday 12:01 AM" and "Wii coming Sunday 12:01 AM". Since the store never closes, where exactly does the line start to pick up the system? Are you supposed to line up at the electronics counter or what? Any idea?

We're camping out on Friday (grandma in the morning, mom in the afternoon, and then I take over from there). Hope to get some friends to stay with me.

No, Friday. We called up a couple of minutes ago, and one of the managers said that they are expecting people to start lineing up Friday. So I want to make sure I get one, so Friday morning should be good insurence.

It sucks cuz I am in school til friday afternoon and I get back home at around 6 pm. There are a couple of stores in my city and next town over, there are about 5 more I can check out. So about 10 total stores... the town is not that big compared to where I go to school, but I would imagine that some might sell out quick. I am just so nervous that I will not be able to get the Wii and end up having to wait :frown:. I think the best thing I will be able to do for now is to call the stores after 3pm or so and ask them if they have any available...hopefully I could find one place. How many Wii systems do you think each store may get? I assume 15-20 per store...

One other thing, will they have all the colors available for the official release? I want to get green so bad...I hope I will be able too..if I get really desperate, I may just skip school and come home on thurs so I can wake up early and buy the system.

LOL...and I just realized that the date is set for sunday, not friday...friday is

If you want a Wii, you have to be in line by Saturday morning at the latest, in my eyes. In our area, our Walmarts are getting 20, so I think most other places will get more (since Rhode Island is....well, Rhode Island). I suggest, CMT, that you get a family member to hold your place so you are guarented one.

Saturday? Why Sat? The official release date on the Wii site says 11.19.2006...and I checked the circuit city page and they say that the Wii sells on the 19th..thats a Sunday. I will be able to go get the system on both days, but I would think it would be on the Sunday. Anyone wanna confirm the Sat. date? Is it just certain stores that will sell it on Sat?

He's saying you'll need to be in line by Saturday in order to get it on Sunday, since it's so popular/sold out that the line for it is gonna start the day before. BTW why didnt you ppl just reserve it? And where do you sleep camping out?

Are you serious? Camp out....I don't live in such a big area that everyone would be covering every store in the city. I doubt that anyone would camp out for the system around here, its between 2 major cities, less than 100 thousand...I could wake up 2 hours before the stores open and probably walk in to get the system. Although I think they might have to set up some sort of line in the electronics depeartment. I seriously doubt I will have to camp out...lol, leave that to those people in the major cities like Chicago or NYC, good luck fellas, I will get to sleep nice and cozy before the system comes out....

Abe, this is the Wii we're talking about. People will drive 100 miles or more to get this system. Actually, your location is probably worse than, say, a college town, cuz here we've got about 20 stores that will stock the Wii on launch day, and nobody for over 100 miles who actually wants it outside of the college town. You? between two major cities, and only a few places to get the thing. Best bet is to camp, buddy.

I never once missed out on getting what I wanted, believe me, if I say I will get the Wii on Sunday morning, I mean it....and I don't think I'll need to camp out for it. I'll make sure to take a pic of me and my system come sunday...lol
