Do you play with you deck side ways?

I have no problem with that
The only requirement that I have is that deck & discard be opposite from the prizes.

A judge at the grinder last year made a big deal about the discard being in front of the deck instead of behind it. First time in 8 years I had ever seen someone go out of their way to say something about that.

You can always ask for the Head Judge.

Now, if the Head Judge also insists on it, he gets the final word.
However, unlike with the deck being veritcal, there is no POP mandate about this.
