Okay, FFTA has FFT on controls, but FFT still blows FFTA out of the ****ing water in terms of plot, character development, class system, and even music/sound.
Tales of Phantasia, and it was never translated. It was a great game, but the line on the boat says it all for the maturity of it: "Mint has that quiet elegance, but I'll bet Arche ****s like a tiger." Thing is though, they're even making an animé based on Tales of Phantasia. I've seen the first few episodes, and it's great.
Considering that the SNES had the best quality games of any system period since it existed before console fanboyishness took a real hold of the gaming industry, that's quite a bold statement to make.
