One thing I can say I like about this card is how reliant on other stuff it is. Kill the other things and you're left with something kill-able with Xatu. Or if they set it up for 120 a turn (this is no longer THAT strong. which is pathetic btw... -.-) then you can kill it outright.

But is this the beginning of the return of the combo decks? If so then I've waited 3 whole YEARS for this and I'm psyched! :thumb:

For a DCE it donks babies too. Guess they really don't want babies in this format ever again...

Not to mention that DCE is being reprinted in that set to begin with..

I don't think this is too OP. Seriously, with the only energy acceleration coming from Jirachi (you have to get energy cards discarded first) and Mismagius/Shaymin, I don't see this going too many places. That engine is horribly inconsistent, and when Catcher comes out, it'll be a pain in the butt to a 2-RC Mewtwo. Oh, and 170 HP may be great, but the two prizes once it's KO'd aren't.

People are overrating this card. It will be good, but it will not break the format.

I would still call out reshiram for being more broken than this guy.

Oh my god, these new EX cards are going to be so epic, they put Chuck Norris to shame. If I don't get my hands on one soon, I am going to die from sheer excitement. Ohmygawdohmygawdohmygawdohmygawdohmygawdhmygawd.

This is overhyped, it's not even that great, it just looks awesome.

That's what I'm raving about; I've never seen such sheer epicness on a single card! It's like a level X card but with amazing effects and colors! It's like a LEGEND card but printed on a single card! It's like a Full art card but stuffed with epic! *Endless raving*

I don't know why people keep going on about how absurdly broken the card is. After all, you have to give up 2 prizes so there is little point running any more than 2-3 copies of the card. The big threat to this card is RDL who'll take three prizes off in one turn. Mewtwos big attack has some nice synergy with Jirachi, you can catcher an Emboar; hit it for 120;let them waste resources trying to retreat it; bring Jirachi into play and devolve the Emboar for a KO.

I partly agree with this statement. I haven't really read this thread that much, however have heard about what has been posted in it through another forum.

Really, I am not a fan of judging cards as over rated, broken, over powered, etc. until the set comes out and the card is actually released. However it is undeniable that the card is powerful.

It has more hp than any basic ever printed, and attacks that are far from mediocre. 3 energy for 120 without solid energy accel might sound like a stretch, but with 170hp and seeker in the format, it is likely going to be a force to be reckoned with. The only non psychic pokemon that can consistently OHKO this guy is magnezone, and with catcher in the format magnezone is hindered.

The only reason I can call Reshiram and Zekrom better than this guy is that they have solid energy acceleration.(Typhlo or Emboar and Pachi/Shaymin Respectively)

I can't wait to see the other new EX's, and hopefully Stage 2 EX's that will be printed in the near future.

^Right, LostGar didn't hardly live up to the hype, and this isn't even too hyped. So it could be good or just meh, there's no telling now.

Judging by the fact that Mewtwo ex could actually stand somewhat on its own as a deck, I have good hopes for the rest of the ex series– it seems like it's going to put in good variety, but not overwhelming power.
