Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Game Over!

Err, may I ask which states this was played at and did this good?

The deck's totally legit, don't get me wrong. We were all talking about this deck how sick it is, but we all thought dialga was banned haha.

Well, Dialga isn't banned (check the modified legal card list). I believe it was run at, correct me if I'm wrong Pikamaster, Maryland State Championships.

Yes, I ran it at MD states. Most fun states I've ever had, making the TC round last for 100+ minutes...

Really?? Really you win the states with this deck?, i'm impressed, but i would say outstanding!! if you win the states or regionals, I understand the mechanic, and the card list... wish you luck! (y)

Something I forgot to include in the article, in case anyone wonders where the name came from...

Does anyone remember the old 8 bit (4 bit if you're old like me and can remember when the Mac was invented) video games? When you beat the game, or died, the screen would always disappear, one huge pixel at a time, and that's kinda what happens as your opponent's bench disappears!

I proxied this deck for league and went 4-2. I scooped twice because 2 palkia G and azelf was prized. Other than that the deck is INSANELY good. It is not slow at all with the jirachi and twins back to back. I wish I have the cards for this deck to go a major event. Thank you for posting this amazing deck!

No, more like, once you set up you have a 25% chance (33% chance) of winning... every turn.

Assuming you get 2 Dialgas milling, it's 2 of that every turn. lol In other words, the odds against your opponent drawing all 6 prizes before Epic Win occurs, well... they're not looking so good for them now, are they?

As we've said, you kind of have to use it to believe it. When I first saw it, I knew it would work, but I thought it would be horrible. It was a little clunky, and needed some fine tuning, but it was actually surprisingly quick, and set up quite well. People seem to forget just how fast you can set up when just about every card that's going into your hand is hand picked out of the deck via twins/jirriachi.

To all you who are still disbelievers, this is not a joke deck. This is not a "cladol ex 2.0"/other fake deck. This really works, and is a very viable deck. We are not hyping it because it's bad and we're trying to trick people into using it. We're hyping it because it's a good deck, and is a very legitimate deck four tournament uses. It can go head to head with the best decks out there and win. Still don't believe us? Build it and do some testing for your self. I think you'll be surprised.

I'd probably Bench Shield Drifblim...

Speaking of Drifblim, if you are using Upper Energy/DCE, couldn't you pick up Drifblim with the initial Seeker (you said to make sure not to), bench Drifloon and attach, Detour (and pick up something else), then next turn evolve and attach again, thus getting your Drifblim back into play?

How do you handle losing your turn? That seems awful dangerous.
EDIT: Oh, it ends your turn immediately rather than causing you to skip a turn, that's not so bad!

You can, but there's enough recovery power in the deck that it's quite hard for the Luxchomp players to actually get rid of them.

Why would you want to do that? You've already won (assuming they hit the double tails, which the should have if you're playing seakers) if you've played the initial seaker. Just LC the Palkia/Dialga/anything that's not jirrachi/Drifblim.

While you technically could do that, I wouldn't suggest it. Often I find myself using my energy attachment that next to last turn to retreat something I just Leveled Up. If you get into the practice of picking up your Drifblim, then you're liable to snooker yourself when the pressure is on in a tournament. Most people tend to play how they practice.

Good luck!

I hope you do good!:thumb:

Pokemon cards and pens dont mach!

So I built a version of this and I really like it. Its really silly that you could be trailing 5 prizes to suddenly realize, "Hey I win!"

I'm not sure I'm playing it optimally yet(which is fine, cause I built it today). My question is the order your build your setup. Do you want to start Time Skipping early, even if you don't have the rest in place to win the game yet?
I could see it go either way.

Also, any tips against VileGar Shadow Rooming your stuff which dodges Rescue Energy and Final Wish and can put a real damper on your Level Xs?
