Well, if you scope out this thread, you'll see that people have turned it into an internet respect thread (internet respect is, of course, serious business, and directly translates to great jobs and perfect women forever).
While the original intent of that thread was to discuss "silly name changes to existing decks," people claiming to have exclusive rights to the title of PLOX Creator took an example of a deck which saw name changes to a few card substitutions (GG) and ballooned it into the main topic of discussion. Since the Mods suggested that people stop exclusively talking about GG in there, I decided to make this little thing. I'm bored, and I got quite a few chuckles reading the pro-Plox arguments. That's some good stuff.
Anyway, the initial underlying questions which should be answered (some of which may be reiterated form posts in that thread) are as follows:
Can one claim ownership of a deck based off of two Pokemon which both evolve from the same Basic?
Does switching from a Furrett engine to a Pachi/Phione-Claydol engine constitute an original new deck? If so, please tell me why: I'd like to use that information to make my Beedrill deck into a Splee deck by adding Furrett, thus changing the main attackers and everything the deck believes in. I'll brake the floor mat with it and people will like me.
How does combining four of the most talked-about cards in recent sets (Pachi, Claydol, Gardy, Gallade) into one deck make you any good?
Could I possibly sound any more pretentious?
Finally, how quickly do you think this will turn into a mud fight?
If you care, . . . .
. . . . GO!
