1: I lol because of how funny and silly your arguments are. Really bring up a thread from a completely different format. REALLY?
2: you guys are. sorry but there is no nicer way to say it. I make valid points yet you guys only read what you wanna read and make really dumb counter points
3: when have I ever said that?
4: they are, AGAIN you guys assume I say you NEED to have them T2 or T3. Never said that, I said T5 or T6. Which I have gotten every single game i've ran this
5: again never said that, even said the opposite. Really please go back and read so that you can see how wrong you guys are on your assumptions about me
6: never said that
7: my points are, I don't attempt

I'm not playing either deck, and common sense tells me that emboar is better

1. By using Typhlosion you have to put 1 damage counter on reshiram. This allows for an easy return ko from an opponent reshi or zekrom.

2. That damage counter will allow a return ko from a zoroark, the most hyped and probably one of the best techs out there ATM.

3. You can start swing t2 with emboar. With Typhlosion, the earliest you can start is t3. Unless you can somehow get out 2 Typhlosion and energy in the discard

4. Emboar can pull off shuckle, a much better draw engine then ninetails IMO.

Maybe Typhlosion with a 1-1-1 Serperior tech or something?
I dunno. Probably too clunky. Maybe a 1-0-1 line because you will (should) run Candy.
If Typhlosion didn't drop that DMG counter, I think it would win the mirror. Serperior can solve this problem.

Edit; About Shuckle, I don't know if I like it or not. Maybe it's my list but I never seem to draw into Seerker/SSU when I need it and when you don't have the Energy it becomes slow because you can't attach any to Reshiram.

chris and i played the matchup on redshark last night. we would have played more than 1 game but it was like 2 am or something haha. he got the better set up and i couldn't draw into ANYTHING. by the time i started to get going, he was up like 3 prizes? it got back to 3-2 but with only limited ways to get energy out of the discard, emboar/reshiram slowed down and there was so way i could keep up. it was only one game, but i think its a decent example of how the matchup MIGHT play out. there are ways to play around the 10 damage if you're not bad.

Well in my Reshiram deck, I just run Typhlosion, Emboar, Shuckle, and Ninetails. It's so amazing, you get all the benefits of both decks, and I have no problem getting three stage 2's out by T5 or T6, while consistently competing in the early game. =D Seriously guys, it's so broken it's funny! I mean I almost always start, Reshiram, Collector, Emboar, Ninetails, Typhlosion, Two Candy and Juniper! Now I just need to go play it, but my theorymon is infallible! =D

I have to disagree. Kingdra Prime is rather useless against fire, Kingdra with Water Arrow is not. That Kingdra can abuse DCE and be very effective against Emboar and Reshiram. I'm suprised it hasn't been mentioned already.

Water Arrow does 30 for 1 Water Energy to ANY of your opponent's Pokemon. Hitting the Bench will be huge in the next format.

As far as overall use is concerned. I should have mentioned that. I am well aware as long as fire is the meta game, Kingdra PRIME is pretty useless, however, should fire see a decline (Doubtful), we can probably gauge it to still be an effective water type.

That leaves Gator PRIME and maybe Beartic.

Obviously you hacks are missing grorious deck:

4 Absol Prime
4 Mew Prime
2 Pachirisu
2 Shaymin UL

50 Other pointless garbage that everyone needs to play to not get donked by the deck of the minute

Vicious Claw spam energy manip and refresh gogogo

Emboar/X Decks
Gator/X Decks
Magnezone/X Decks
Scizor
Tyranitar
Zekrom
Donphan
Gengar
Cincinno/X
Jumpluff

So I'm assuming that's everything?

Scizor is deeply suspect in an environment that will have a lot of fire and where non-fire decks will find it easy to splash a Reshiram or two. I don't think Scizor can get past Reshiram that just uses Outrage. Jumpluff has issues with fire but may survive through speed.

Also note that a number of big Pokemon (Magnezone, Emboar Flare Blitz, most of the Legends) are problematic as attackers because Zoroark is easy to splash and will be used often against Reshiram and Zekrom.

^How will Eeveelutions work without BTS?

Idk, all I know is that ill play test it and make it work. XD
This is the part were you either troll and say "look forward to playing you" or go the opposite and be supportive of me and my endeavors :D

I'm still going to try and play Leafeon and still work on my Vaporeon and Pidgeot deck. Both are hard in a format that hit for 120+.

Everyone Is forgetting about unown return and ssu with shuckle. Ninetails is. Stage 1 that maces out at 3 cards while also discarding 1 of your fires that you need to attack each turn. Shuckle is a basic that allows you to draw x amount of cards. With unown and other stuff if you only have 3 energy you can draw 6+ cards in or turn without seeker or anything. It's incredibly easy to draw through pretty much your entire deck. It gets you whatever cards you want, and in thi format there's basically no snipe so having a benched shuckle with 3/4 energy fr a turn is no problem. Shuckle will be slower to get going, but after it's out for a turn or two you draw like half your deck

100% - with Seeker, SSU, and Unown Return (with no Sprays/Mesprits), why WOULDN'T you play Shuckle as your draw engine?

I don't know, having an unown and a shuckle sitting there on your bench seems like a bad idea since they both have horrible health. I can just Pokemon Catcher it up and kill it, but it's not out yet. Until then, I'm sure people will use Pokemon Reversal (if they feel lucky) or Pokemon Circulator (if you don't feel lucky).
