Looks like interpreting the task is part of the challenge.

I mean, you could tell Jonathan to wish for a complete Dialgachomp deck (list supplied by Pooka), a set of $60 sleeves, a Worlds 2010 playmat, and that Lati deckbox that sells for $500. Is that the right thing for Jonathan at this stage of his Pokemon journey though?

Absolutely. Nothing could possibly go wrong with that. Jon's parents are CEOs of major companies, of course.
 
Sent mine in. The hardest part, as usual, is deciding which GOOD cards I CAN'T put in. Next hardest, deciding what BAD cards I have to LEAVE in. Those card switching limits are BRUTAL, RA...

^Not true. I don't have to decided what bad cards I keep in a deck that isn't working. I take em out and put in 4-4 Seaking and all my opponent's scoop in it's awe. >:D


...that's how you build decks right :confused:
 
Deckbuilding is an art. <--- PUT IN THE POKEMON THAT IS COOLEST/PRETTIEST/CUTEST == GLACEON.DEK

In part. Actually, it's the 16 limit that's getting me, not the card pool. You give me an unlimited card swap with that same card pool, and I'll give you a 20x better deck. I hated having to leave in the third element because I was left with 4 cards to remove 8 cards from that element after removing all the illegal junk and the associated cards that couldn't be used b/c of it.

no way. i do the same thing. everyone knows that seaking is awesome. and that way when you land double heads for 90 damage you say Heck Yeah Seaking!!!!
 
4,996 Characters - I hope that it was ok to remove set and # for Trainers (not require on tournament deck lists) and abbreviate things like NRG for energy, Bebe for Bebe's Search, Etc.
 
I have a problem, I have about 7000 characters, at only 5000 characters possible and most of them are needed.
I am just able to make it 6500 characters, but not less.

So would it be possible, if I send you the message per E-mail?
That would be fine.

Finally sent my entry in. This round was harder than I expected. Also, I had to shorten names (NRGY, Bebes, SSU, etc.) Just to fit in with the 5000 char. limit. Hope I go on, though it'll be tough to tell. I easily could have done horribly. Anyways, thanks again RA for hosting this, it's been a real challenge and a lot of fun so far.

Yep. It's set up to be a bit frustrating. I'll find out when I go over them all day tomorrow.
 
If you're running up against the PM limit, you're doing something wrong IMO...
 
I surprised myself by hitting the character limit. o_O It didn't seem that long!

But then, I had to fit an explanation about the format, birthday advice, and a slew of changes to his list into that PM...
