Lumineon isn't that great. It's power requires it to be the active pokemon which makes it very difficult to use. It's attacks also aren't good enough to keep it active. Plus almost every deck is going to be running Claydol so they can put thier basics down with Cosmic power or bench them of course.

Of course it isn't.

It has low hp, can be one-shotted by the format.

Or in Unlimited,
Sabrina's Gastly - 40 HP
Opponent's Smeargle Paints Gastly Grass, your Shamin X is benched - 80 HP
Opponent's Snow Point Temple - 100 HP
Energy Root Attached - 120 HP
You have 4 cards in play previously mentioned, and 1 prize card remaining. Therefore 55 other cards. They are all basic psychic energies attached to Gastly - 670 HP
...And then you deck out next turn and lose.

brawler: People were saying it was and it was annoying so I said something, anyway this set is amazing there's to many good cards to comment on them individually. I do think I like Gengar the best though, it's just amazing and it's the best artwork in a very long time.

OK the translations are up from the set being released in Japan. From what Ive seen,we just have alot of broken cards and even above average cards. I mean we get this set after the next set so we should get it around October/November. From what Ive seen \,I cant wat to test these cards:

1.Shaymin LV.X – Grass – HP100
Level Up

Poke-Body: Sense of Gratitude
Each of your Grass-type Pokemon in play (excluding any Shaymin) has its maximum HP increased by 40. This Body stops working if you already have another Sense of Gratitude Poke-Body in effect.

[G][C][C] Seed Flare: 40 damage. You may choose any number of Grass Energy in your hand and attach them to your Pokemon in any way you like. If you do, this attack does an additional 20 damage for each Energy card you attach.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Water (-20)
Retreat: 1

This card just makes Leafeon/Sceptile just that much more good. You give Sceptile 140 it needs,Leafeon 150-170(with espeon) and it accels more energy at one time early game to make Leafeon X much more threatning after words.

2.Gengar LV.43 – Psychic – HP110
Stage 2 – Evolves from Haunter

Poke-Power: Death Sentence
You can use this Power once during your opponent’s turn, when this Pokemon’s HP is reduced to 0 by damage from an attack. Flip a coin, if heads the attacking Pokemon is Knocked Out.

[P] Shadow Loom: Place 3 damage counters on 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. If that Pokemon has a Poke-Power, place an additional 3 damage counters.
[P][C] Poltergeist: Look at your opponent’s hand, and do 30 damage for each Trainer card, Supporter card, and Stadium card you find.

Weakness: Darkness (+30)
Resistance: Colorless (-20)
Retreat: 0

Good HP,Managable Energy cost, free retreat, nice power and it just good. U can just pile dcs and then we will have Spirtbomb/Bronzong MD still,so spreading just got that much better.

3.Steelix LV.63 – Steel – HP130
Stage 1 – Evolves from Onix

[C] Exert Strength: Choose a number of your opponent’s Pokemon, up to the number of Energy cards attached to Steelix. Then, do 20 damage to each of the chosen Pokemon. (No matter how many times you choose a Pokemon, it only takes 20 damage.)
[M][M][C][C] Iron Tail: Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 100 damage x the number of heads.

Weakness: Fire (+30)
Resistance: Psychic (-20)
Retreat: 4

UHH,It can do 20 to all their pokes if u use Blastoise water log,or even when the Magnezone that does Super Conductivity, itll be like MSNBC again but -20 HP and not double weak to fire. I just love this card.

4.Drifblim LV.48 – Psychic – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Drifloon

[.] Report: Choose 1 card from your discard pile, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand.
[.] Place: Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Pokemon cards and play them on your Bench. You may attach up to 1 Basic Energy card from your deck to each of those Pokemon. Shuffle your deck afterward.
[P][C] Strange Wind: 40 damage. Flip a coin, if heads the Defending Pokemon is now Confused, and can’t retreat during your opponent’s next turn.

Weakness: Darkness (+20)
Resistance: Colorless (-20)
Retreat: 0

Starter for my Magmalutions.Thats all I wanted.

The translations can be found at this link:

Pokebeach INtense Fight in the Sky Translations

torterra lv.x and shaymin lv.x = 200HP torterra lv.x
leafeon x and shaymin x and espeon = 170HP leafeon x
both sceptiles =double energy manipulation
MAD Machamp
RaiBlitz
Dusknoir and Bronzong MD

I think this set is broken.

Here is my take on the new Sceptile. We have Energy Trans in the format right now with the POP4 Sceptile, yet nobody is really abusing the two Sceptile working together. Sure, next format, things will be different, but I don't see people abusing it that much more than they are now.

Seelix is AWESOME with ANYTHING that spreads and that dosnt take alot of energy! I kan think of a few for him to go with!

The difference being that the new version has some interesting attacks & 110 HP. On top of that he will have lots of potential new partners. All of these factors will make a difference I think.

I've been waiting far too long for Grass to be able to take the field again, and Shaymin LX makes that extremely possible.

Torterra Level X sitting at 200 HP's and some pretty hefty damage, Bellossom swarms at 140 HP's and Kingdra resistance, Beedrill is even more annoying than ever with Shaymin.

Grass will be making a comeback, ladies and gents.
I hear you on that. When I started, I ran Grass types, but as of late, they just haven't been too playable. let's just say that when IFDS gets to America, I will be headhunting Shaymin and Shaymin X

Shaymin X + Sceptile (either GE or IFDS) + Any other :grass: heavy hitter = total carnage

I'm also excited about the chaos that Gengar and Dusknoir will be able to unleash

For anyone who is interested to know, I tested out the new regigigas last night, filling my garchomp deck with proxies. The 3 regis version isn't as good as everyone may seem. Okay, play 1 claydol, the 3 regi's, and the regigigas as your active. First off, it takes to long to get all 3 of those out. And then what happens when regigigas dies? Your better of dropping the regi's line, play the better LA Regigigas or the IFDS regigigas on the bench, and sableye as your starter. Human Mimic a felicity's, and discard 2 energies from your hand. T2 use warp point, play regigigas with 2 energy attached, and level up. Sacrifice the sableye to get the two energies, and attack. Play Gengars as techs, possibly togekiss for more energy acceleration, and definitely claydol. Sounds like a good idea to anyone?

And Gallade gives it 62 damage counters. So it does die shortly thereafter.

All the broke cards in that set and you think people are gonna be worried about gallade?? Very unlikely.

Magnezone(Super Conductivity)+ Magnezone(Searches for Stell/Yellow Pokes)+ Steelix = M & Ms which equals fun. Steelix just spreads to everything instead of 100 to just one. Then can do infinty damage. Gonna be easy to charge up again, the format is gonna be diverse.

Great Starters:

Sableye
Driflblim

Great Support:

Dialga
Sceptile
Shaymin X
Heatran X

This set is what we've been waiting for if we get all these at one time since this format was so STALE!!

I think this set is bringing some radical new ideas to the way the game is played. I'm all for that. It makes for a wider variety of decks and calls for higher skilled players (no lucksacs!).

I rather use Energy link, than Energy Trans Sceptile. It wont take your precious bench space(and there already shaymin and sceptile GE).

And why nobody said anything about Tangrowth. With Shaymin lvlX it actually have 150 HP, nice body and a cheaper/stronger Magmortar's Fireball Bazooka. With pokehealer, it would be even harder to knockout.

^ And you can still keep the Sceptile lines in Tangrowth/Sceptile and it'd be even better with Shaymin.

There is after all, a new Tangrowth too, that isn't half bad.
