Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Iron Chef Questions, Concerns, etc

If we have heatran LvX, all of Pod 2 will be:
3 Rayquaza
2-2 Heatran LvX
4 Energy Pickup
Trainer Engine
Energy

Kinda kills a creative tournament. Besdies, those 2 cardsa arent DP-LA, which he already said the first 2 rounds were.

Just wondering for the contest do we have the main pokemon as the main attack or could you have it as a very helpful tech in the deck and if we do do that will we los points?

but what if I have a deck that the only reson it works is because my pokemon I have to make a deck around dose this or that and it works really well.

TBH, I'm not sure about that. :p

But he said if it was a tech, you would loose points, but in your case, your Pokemon does sound like one of the main Pokemon...

In the summary/strategy of the deck what count the words or charachters?

Cause in mine i got bout 250 words and 1200 charachters, and i don';t want to get points subtracted for nothing

My standard for word check is Microsoft Word's word count. It sounds like you're probably fine.

Hey Cyrus,

Are the soon to be released Tin - Pokemon X useable for this contest or not, I did not see an official answer to this so I wanted to be sure before I sent in my decklist.

If we are members of a team, are we allowed to bounce ideas off of each other? Just want to check beforehand to avoid trouble.

Do I understand correct I don't have to take any "match ups" in account while making a list?
So I don't have to make a list which can run with 3 bench because Dusknoir is in the format?

RE JandPDS: (on upcoming, unreleased Level X's in tinsI very well may allow them for the top 64, but I will not allow them for rounds one and two of this contest.

RE The Knee: (on team collaboration) team collaboration is one of the things that bugs me about this contest, because I like to see what the _individual_ can do. However, while I don't necessarily approve of it, I don't "disapprove" of it either...Simply because I can't stop it.

RE Rainbowgym: no to both. You can build your deck completely blind to Dusknoir.

RE headsrcool: you "play" no games, but you will build decks "twice." If your decks are good enough, then you will get to do single elim as well.

@headsrcool question: He intended to ask how many copies of a card he has to play if it's his challenge ingredient. To answer I would assume that you are correct and that three would indeed suffice.

Thanks, Aaron.

Actually, two suffices. My only reservation is when a single copy is teched in, and someone calls that the "focus" of the deck.

An example for why two suffices? Well, look at Magleaf, which only ran two Magmortar. Your card can be an integral part of the deck without being in a giant quantity.

Not to say four would be bad! Just show me what you can do without two-bitting it.

so when will u let us know when the tournaments started? will u PM us?
