Now I know that on paper, this looks pretty bad. But the really amazing thing is, when I tested it out the other night, Luxchomp got a quick Weavile G out on me, so I was all “Twins for Promocroak G and Energy Gain, attach Psychic, and bam KO!” I didn’t get a single Gengar out that game, but that single turn was pretty awesome. You should’ve seen the face of my opponent. We then tested the DialgaChomp matchup – similar story with me getting the Manectric G out until my opponent realized how inconsistent my deck was. He went on to just destroy me with Garchomp C or an Uxie or something, but in my mind I counted it a victory since I was able to break the Deafen lock. Can’t argue with those results, now can you? :<
In other news, Gyarados is a pretty solid play for States in my opinion. Gotta work on your build though.
