Someone posted a while ago sayin gthat POP had it planned out for like the next 6 years. It was something like London, then Tokyo next year...but I don't know if it was a trustworthy source, I don't remember...
It was NoPoke, and he was not serious

The NY Pokemon center isn't that good, it doesnt even sell boxes anymore. rrrrr, +its tiny

anyways, for the place that worlds would I would want it to be in Hawaii, its selfish of me because i live in New Zealand but for this worlds just been i had to do a 17hour flight just to go to grinders (my brother got the trip), however i say it would be somewhere in Japan or probably LV.

No worlds last year because of the transition of the game from WOTC to Nintendo. The timing was terrible and Worlds got "lost" in the shuffle.

As much as we like the idea of getting trips to somewhere exotic, Worlds will almost certainly be either in Orlando again or somewhere on the West Coast (San Diego or Seattle).

Ive checked this topic since is started it and see all the people from worlds who mentioned hawaii on thier high hroses making thier own new predictions which shows nintendo must of brought a new idea to the table. I dont mention names but at least 4 people here were naming hawaii as what nintendo said. Ok im guessing this is what is gonna happen. With the Rocket Returns prereleases starting in october's last week the company will start posting future tournament details just past mid ooctober and with that we will learn more on worlds. Since all we know is city's so far from them they wont discolse worlds yet but in fact will disclose the city championship locator and the possible states announcemenet. As ive heard so far the nationls will be the last event coming at the beggining of july at origins so nomatter what we will be looking at the trips starting to be handed out in march to june. The states have to run in february in order for the flow of events to go smooth and if they dont the events will either collide into eachother or be slim enough to coexist but be too slim to make fans happy. This is my estimation on events:
(Remember this is an opinion, not fact)

City chamiponships/November-Januray(that is known as of now)

States-February-mid march

Gym challenges- April-mid may

Stadium challenges- start of june-origins weekend

nationals- Aty origins game fair

Thats my opinions on things

I fell if anything noone and i mean NOONE will hear word one from nintendo on worlds location till atleast february after city's end and the states begins.

This is my opiniona nd i know i may be wrong but i felt chiming in with my 2 cents would help with the clearing of any clutter

Slimey: Nope. 'wasn't me who suggested london. I don't think london would be a good idea either. Far too expensive for accomodation and venue. ( Have a look here ... http://www.pokegym.net/showpost.php?p=107383&postcount=2)

Last year we had the Wotc farewell tournament at Gencon Indy.

Comic Con in San Diego would be good.
Sorry, I thought it was you who said that.

Anyway, I think Worlds will either be in Seattle or San Diego. Either way it works for me because the WCSC will probably be held in the other city.

I still, throughout all of this, feel that somewhere in the middle of the States would be perfect. Personally i feel like St.Louis is the place to go. Now im not saying this because i live in TN and its closer to me, im saying it because this is true. You have about the same travel distance from the west and the east. Why else does TN State held in Nashville when there are no other tournaments there but this one?? It's because of the distance. It's 4 hours from Memphis and 3 hours from Chattanooga. Maybe just not St.Louis though. There is also Chicago and other nice places near the middle of the States. This is just my two cents on this.

i think it should be in hawaii, then i could feel like i was going to New Island to play the worlds greatest pokemon master :p
