City chamiponships/November-Januray(that is known as of now)

States-February-mid march

Gym challenges- April-mid may

Stadium challenges- start of june-origins weekend

nationals- Aty origins game fair

Thats my opinions on things

I fell if anything noone and i mean NOONE will hear word one from nintendo on worlds location till atleast february after city's end and the states begins.

This is my opiniona nd i know i may be wrong but i felt chiming in with my 2 cents would help with the clearing of any clutter

Actually according to official word from PUI, the championship series this year will be expanded, so there will be more events to look at. They just have not announced anything more other than they're expanding it.

I think it was mentioned that the Stadium Challenges would be before the Gym Challenges. According to the GAMA web site Origins is scheduled for June 30 - July 3 (July 4 weekend...Cool !!!).

if its true what i have heard (not much people @ nationals) , it'll not be in france,..

Also remember san diego is the old spot of the WCSTS and WCSC that wizards held. It would be nice to see nintendo bring pokemon back to one of its hot spots.
 
In my opinion, it’s wrong of POP not to tell players what the criteria will be for determining invitations to Worlds.

While I'm sure that this is not the case, it can give the impression that POP is waiting to see who’s where in the standings before making their decision.

Liking Pokemon to sports. can you think of one where the players don’t know what is needed to make the playoffs or where the championship game will be played prior to the start of the first game?

People need to plan in advance. The sooner you announce when and where Worlds will be, the more people you will see in attendance.
 
I agree. If Worlds is held outside of the US (or farther than florida), I'll never be able to make it, so it would be pointless to pay a ton of money for extra cards I need if I'll never be able to use them.

or even worse "200 angry kids throw bunch of judges off the board for making a wrong ruling"; asa matter of fact, last time I spoke with Pete about the topiuc he sincerely said they have not yet decided on the spot for worlkds, so we will have towait alittle longer.
 
They should keep it in Orlando. It's a great spot, has entertainment, fairly cheap rooms, and awesome accessability (sp?). Plus I have a much better chance at going. :)
 
I think Worlds should be held in Alert, Canada. Its the most northerly area that actually has people. We could have it on December 21st. (shortest day of the year) It would be dark all day. :)
