Magmortar Lvl X

Once SW is released, Use that Magmortar with the Poke-body and it can heal Magmortar each time you give it a :fire: Energy.
 
I put together a Magmortar deck, and tested vs. an Azumarill deck which is pretty good (not as good as Empoleon).

7 Game results:
(a) Donks - 1-1: Azurill T2's... Magby T1'd
(b) Decent Games - 1-4: No matter how poorly Azumarill started (except for the donk), Magmortar couldn't keep up. The only game Magmortar was able to win happened when Azumarill couldn't get an Energy for 5 turns in a row, but this rarely happened.

I really like the Mag' line, but it seems that it needs something to make it premier.

i made also a deck with magmortar/typhlosion before i read this article and played it against myself with mario. mario sets up to quick to win against it, but i was thinking to change magmortar in infernape.

basic idea is flare blitz, then with typhlosions power add a energy on infernape on the bench, maybe 2 energies if there 2 typhlosions, switch the infernape with the benched one(free retreat) and again flare blitz. so you can do every turn 90 damage.
 
SW magmortar is released. Its a tank, 110 and the ability to heal itself. Straight Magmortar is nicer. Buffers,Potions,SSUs,its a nice deck. Someone should do a article on that one also.

Also Magmar doing 20 for one energy,its a nice starter and ssetups a T2 ko easily.
 
Me likes Jason MagmaCatty a lot, it can be updated with the new cards..

Yes maybe 4 Delcatty is so much.. Ill take out 1 Delcatty PK for 1 Magby (for Magmortar MT) and the Rosseanes for Mentor it helps to discard energies and can get 1 magby 1 magmar 1 skitty.
