I stopped by a local Toys R Us, and asked someone in the video game department about the promotion, and they were very confident with their answers.

1. Yes, they were doing it.
2. It would be available as a wireless download.
3. If anyone had questions during the download session, they plan to have staff around to help.

She even made sure that I had a DS and a Diamond/Pearl game, which was nice of her.
 
I saw this in Nintendo Power. But, what exactly does the Red Scarf do?

Last time I got two Mew. I gave my mom a second Game Boy and pretended it was hers. (The two Mew had different natures)
I only have one DS this time but I have two copies of Pearl and since it is wireless.... :wink:

Which issue? I looked in the Sept. issue all the way back to the May issue and there was nothing about this in it.

I'm probably going to the one in Bellevue, WA. Not sure how long I'll stay for, but it might be worthwhile if people are also trading their specially bred Pokemon!

Heard the same story at both Toys R Us locations here in San Antonio. Maybe it's something that they'll be notified about at the last moment?

BTW any word on the other Pokemon that need some special item to get to?

Any way of checking (IE a locations guide) where they will do this?

I am in the Austin area. So you think they would do something with this.

Ok, I'm almost positive it's going to be a short notice thing to the TRU locations now, because I can understand san antonio not having it... but austin as well? Just doesn't add up to me.
