Why are you awaiting a ban? There is no need to say such a thing. You have your freedom of speech. You should be able to criticize the staff without fear of expulsion.
 
In the gaming world, the BGG website (www.boardgamegeek.com) is in a league of its own. But then again, BGG is a site dedicated to numerous games.

PokeGym appeals to me because of the Mods, and how they strive to filter out the "bad." You've got to admit, some people post without first thinking. This is a public forum. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are important, but so are editorial practices. I personally think the PokeGym Mods are performing their editorial practices well. I don't see that same level of prefessional-level editorialism coming from a young adult.

Don't get me wrong, I like to hear from the younger top-level players. But, their skill is their playing ability, not their Mod ability. I say, leave that to the people who have done it so well for so long.

98% of online forums would ban him for posting that.

Pokegym is one of the other 2% thankfully.
 
I got banned several times for making Jokes like that.

There are 1 or 2 bad mods, but there is on any Forum with 10k+ members.

so meh. live with it.
 
Doesn't sound like a slight problem if you've already summed up the gym as a "bad apple" and stated that there is 1 good mod and the a bunch of noobish mods. BJJ wasn't being defensive, he was just giving you your obvious option. Don't like it? Leave.

then i would suggest that, seeing as how it is your problem, perhaps it would be more productive to simple BUILD A BRIDGE, AND GET OVER IT

i was just using a metaphor =/ if it was more than a slight problem, do you think i would have calmly spoke of it as such? no, i would have left, as BJJ suggested. in the end, its not a big deal, dont blow it out of porportion.

whats there to get over? is it not ok to share my opinion? im not whining, im not complaining, im simply stating my opinion. i doubt that there is a single member of these forums that has not done the same.

what was i supposed to do? allow everyone to see my opinion as a joke? would you have just let everyone laugh at how you view things? i retold my opinion to make sure my point was clear, not to shove it down people's throats.

i was hit with tear gas, attacked by police officers, and put in juvenile hall overnight
