Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Mercury being huge this year?

Alright, maybe I'm getting my Mew ex based decks confused....but didn't Mewtric need POW? POW is what swung its Mercury matchup in its favour, and I don't think it'd win without it.

As for the others....I never really did enough testing against those to say. The Metanite builds here in Australia were substantially different to your American ones that I couldn't use the testing there as a yardstick.

uMM, For these matchups:

Metanite- This is really bad...When gardy D ex comes, it's an autowin.
Ludi- This is way to easy. They can't one hit KO you with metal energies and their full bench makes black magic REALLY magical.
Typhlosion- Starmie is Awesome vs this. A strenght charm as a surprise and u KO the annoying Thyplo. Hard match though. Jirachi ALSO helps.
Mewtric- You pretty Much loose. Manectric ex resists you so you are busted. However, Gardy D ex will help this a LOT!

Madhatter: Alakazam*

And i was testing this thing and it always come to the same thing. I have a big lead at start with Jirachi/Holon engine. I get a gardevoir and a starmie/Porygon2 on T2-T3 every game. But the problem is, I have to get Jirachi off the active slot. I currently play 2 switching cards (switch and a warp point), but it doesn't do enough.

At start, A shield tank Gardevoir with some metals can completely immobilize some decks, but at the end, when opponent's engine will start rolling and you will be hit 100 damage a turn, you cant do much. And they always keep their bench small so black magic's power drops dramaticly. You just don't have a good attacker late game.

Porygon2, Starmie, Jirachi DX in late game are completely useless. You only use them in early game and they can be targets for Cursed Stone/Something else. It becomes really hard for Gardevoir to win the game itself. Gardy D ex will do a lot, but another attacker is prob. Needed.

Hmm...Any help?

lol zapper no sry Alakazam* is incorrect

Metanite - Like you said the abilty to 1HKO was nasty for you, Gardie ex would help I guess, but what about the use of Tropius d in the next set (I am geniunly putting in 1-2 in Metanite)

Ludi - what about 4 BF? How do you get out your metals then, plus actually attacking a Gardie with Magcargo for 100 hurts you.

Typhlosion - Typhlosion uses Holon FF to the maximum - Starmies no problem.

Mewtric - Agreed, but its IMO unwise to take a loss to what is IMO gonna be the overplayed deck at cities.

Typhlosion - Typhlosion uses Holon FF to the maximum - Starmies no problem. Windstorm can be nasty do destroy their Root.

Mewtric - Agreed, but its IMO unwise to take a loss to what is IMO gonna be the overplayed deck at cities. - Quaza and Gardy D ex will help a TONNNN! I can guarantee you that . It will be a 60-40 match.

Mmmm, didn't think of that, I haven't tested it but I would probably try to Draggy stall, build up some energy, drop in Tropius 1-2 times to refreash, while swithing. then go for the kill - If Gardie ex is weak to psychic then Mew can coppy its own 80 damage attack and 1HKO

HOW can cargo do 100 to gardy? ITS WEAK TO PSY >_< AND Mercury plays 5 counterstadium stuff. THAT>Frontier.

I thought he was weak to fire, never mind your probably right, Ludi can search for them continuosly though so that might get one to stick in play.

Windstorm can be nasty do destroy their Root.

Forget the Root, I'ld be worried about the Cessation Crystal

I'm sure they will, but like I say I am probably teching in Tropius into Mewtric too (Dual Ball), I don't think it'll be easy setting up Quaza* though whilst Mew goes for the bench with Megashot/Gardevoirs first attack, or going for it with the BF lock

in its defense it got 20th in 15+ at grinder 06.
only games it lost were to due time being called and a game where they got T1 pidgeot/Stoise

20th at the grinder is like getting 20th in the NIT. People don't chant "we're number 65, we're number 65" after they win that tourney.

Wait I'm not even sure that I get Mercury.....So you Metal Navigation.....THEN *looks at Gardevoir D* ENERGY CHARGE?! OMG BROKEN! I get the COMBO!!!!!

Anybody find it weird that the periodic table symbol for Mercury is Hg? Where did they get this from?

The symbol Hg (from the Latinized Greek hydrargyrum, for watery [or liquid] silver)
Thanks to wikipedia.
