Mew Prime Potential!

So lets discuss possible Mew Prime uses, since it has unlimited potential.

2 Ideas I came up with from the top of my head...

Mew Prime teched into Gyarados.
Send a Gyarados into the Lost Zone, and use Mew Prime for a 120(140 should you want to put an expert belt on this 60hp glass cannon) damage Revenge Tail (Assuming 4 Magikarps in discard)

Mew Prime with Celebi Prime/Machamp
There would be a lot of different energy, but Mew could potentially wall all evolved Pokemon, and "Taking Out" basics. Throw in Nincada SV for those pesky "Place Damage Counters" Pokemon (Gengar/Dusknoir/etc) with powers/bodies.
If only Unown G were still around, or Holon WP Energy haha.

Dialga is not the only deck out there,
Drifblim > Dialga
Blaziken > Dialga
Machamp > Dialga
etc...

then he just has to tech in a blaziken lol
I like the celebi and machamp combo
There is also mew prime with rhyperior lv x, kingdra la and sableye impersonate for collector

Mew Prime lost zoning machamp or jumpluff would be great as well. To bad Roseanne's isn't in the format anymore, Mew prime would be a beast.

If you are referring to Celebi Prime, I don't see how that would work since Celebi's attack clearly states "all damage done to Celebi...". Other than that Mew Prime with Machamp's takeout should be a popular one.

My buddy is also running a Mew Prime/Gyarados deck right now, it runs fairly well, 120 for free a pretty sweet.

Attacks like that are self-referencing. If the name of the Pokemon can be replaced by "This Pokemon", then it has to be treated as such.
Thats why it works with Celebi.
Lack of Multi Energy and Roseanne make it less viable as I had hoped. Anyone know some good low-energy Psychic attackers not named Nidoqueen? Im drawing a blank.

mew prime can work well with absol prime, but only mew and absol isn't good, and mew have only 60hp! gengar's shadow room can KO mew by one psychic energy.

^With three flash bites. lol

Mew doesn't have a poke power, it has a body, which means Gengar can only do 3 damage counters to it.

I did not Know this. Thanks for the info. Looks like I may try out a MAC deck haha (mew absol celebi)

^Getting out lv X's that dont have free retreat is pretty awkward in alot of cases. This difficulty increases as the the Stage of the pokemon gets higher. Azelf has being a basic going in its favor, but its much harder to splash in decks cuz people tend to play only 1 Azelf, if at all (which hurts consistency) and the you have to worry about retreating if/when you get your lone azelf active.

High warp point/energy and Unown Q mitigate this problem but all at he expense of consistency in a lot of decks. May work in mew prime, but honestly doing 60 dmg early game isn't expecially hard in this format.

Gengar. Maybe also Mewtwo Lv.X, but I think I like Gengar more.

um. mew prime dies send up azelf lvl up attach q retreat for another mew prime continue. hahaha easy. i think gyarados mew prime is the best version, maybe with blaziken or something to counter dialga

Why not run Mew with Jumpluff? Turn the stage 2 glass cannon into a basic glass cannon. It's even better since you could use Pichu to pull all your Mews at once and then just kill your opponent?

For a fun deck you could use Rhyperior Lv.x with mew and put in a bunch of energy and hit for about 200 damage a turn. but this is a bad idea for a real deck.
