Mew Prime the Toolbox Pokemon

idk... I feel it could go well with Absol prime as a good tech... Since Absol prime discards a pokemon from your hand... to the lost zone...
When he gets knocked out, just bring up mew for a free kill... maybe...
With absol prime we'll need to attach 2 energies and have the pokemon we need to lost zone in hand as well. It's easier and quicker to just lost zone it with mew prime.

Because I'm a nice guy and wanted to do you guys a favor, and end this once and for all...

I tested mew. When it works, it's amazing. However, it's like fighting with a shard of glass. One little bump in the road, and that shard of glass shatters, along with the rest of your deck. I found that if my opponent ever did manage to get an attacker out that could consistently OHKO mew (which was all too often, and far too easy considering mew only has 60 HP), there was literally nothing I could do. I got CREAMED by a single Banette one test game. In another, a Luxray owned me to heck and back. It just does NOT work consistently. This is ignoring the fact that Gengar decks will hit you so hard, your cards will probably be smoking by the time they're done with you. Seriously, they don't just beat you. They pulverize you to a fine powder, eat the powder, digest it, and then flush what ever is left down the toilet the next day. You won't catch me using mew when that set hits. At least, not in the way you're using it.

I don't understand why would a bannete or luxray be tanking against this deck. Why didn't you simply hit it back? Why did bannete have 2 energy on it without you advancing in prizes? And what was your list?

It's easier said than done to just kill it right back. I was using the list you have up. You seem to forget that you actually have to take an entire turn attacking with a mew JUST to get something in the lost zone. You start to run out of mew's kind of quick.

So you ran out of Mew Primes? Also, it only takes one attack to get the main attack you should be using. From what it looks like I'm assuming that the bannete came up in an SP build and the luxray came up in an evolved pokemon build. If the opponent is attaching to their attacker each turn, I don't see where bannete could've come up with 2 energy (in theorymon), and the same sorta goes for luxray, barring the deck also ran e gain. How much did snowpoint help?

Also, thanks for taking the time to test it out. :thumb:

what about as a tech for gyarados? If a gyarados just die, you can revenge kill with a 120 damage attack. It will get kill the next turn, but it just might save you some pokemon rescues, etc..

Is this card out yet?

Anyway, I would imagine once G-Prime comes, Dialga G is going to be running rampant, making Mew terrible.
Not gonna stop people from playing it obviously.

I find Mew Prime a cool card but, idk how good it is. I guess it could be a tech in some weird deck lol. Mew Prime a Mew Prime for lols.

This thread is extremely hostile...
lol I agree with kwisdumb, if the Body and attack were switched, the card would really be MUCH better, but because of how low the HP is, and how it has to be played, I don't think it will really go anywhere....
Which is kind of disappointing, because it's a really clever idea.

This has to be the most pointless thread I've seen on this site. You guys are getting worked up over a card that we don't know if we're even getting, and not sure if it'll even be viable (Dialga G of course).
