Mewtwo EX; Believe the hype

Not every single person in the entire world is gonna use Mewtwo. Sure, Its an insanely good card, but its not like the new Haymaker or Plox. I dont see any MagneBoar fitting Mewtwo in. I dont even really see it in most decks that dont run DCE. Anyways, we will all just have to wait and see the tournament records.
 
Looks like a pretty decent card, but I can't decide if we are getting trolled by the poster or not. All I can say is play it with a purpose because that extra prize can come back to bite you in the butt.
 
well your posts in this thread slightly contradict your signature quote. Im sure mewtwo will be excellent, but simply stating your point is unfailingly correct with no other outcome possible is bad debate technique. Much respect for such conviction in your point of view though.

Why not? You can just have Emboar load Mewtwo up with the energy, then switch in Magnezone when you need him to do significant damage.
 
Magnezone also works well against Mewtwo but you have to be careful with how much Energy you invest and how much you can recover.
 
Hate to get involved as I see and agree with both sides to an extent, though I don't see Mew as a counter to Mewtwo at all. Mew gets wrecked by a Catcher, DCE, and a wasted turn timing to Lost Zone anything.

Because it does a lot more damage per energy and you dont lose 2 prizes when it is ko'd.
 
Yeah, Mew is not a solution at all. Especially against Celebi/MewTwo EX. Even if you can defeat MewTwo EX in a deck, there will be other attackers, like if it 's in ZEM, but hopefully the player can play MewTwo EX correctly and don't get it KOed.
 
correct me if im wrong but isnt mewtwo ex owning japanese meta right now? if i remember correctly there is at least 1-2 copies of him in almost every deck that top cuts (that ive seen) so people that are predicting him to be BCIF/BDIF have a lot of validity behind what they say. and im completly behind the hype train because there is a lot of coal to fire them engines WOOT WOOT!!!!

It's doing pretty well in Japanese meta. Its not at all like Pl0x or other decks like that, it's just a very good deck. It's like how popular and good ZPST was before Noble Victories.
 
Celebi/Gigas/Mewtwo is a viable deck, what does mew do against that?


Regigigas EX destroys Mew and its techs. 180 HP, [C][C][C] for 60 (or +20 and do 20 to yourself)
 
I think it's quite obvious that combee will easily counter Mewtwo ex.

I think people's arguments against that would be Lost World.

(I do believe Mewtwo ex deserves the hype it's getting though)
