I truly don't understand how anyone could vote republican after 8 years of garbage. I know, I know, it's BUSH and his people blah blah blah but McCain has said HIMSELF he has a voting record of 90% BUSH, more than most other republicans. Those words came out of McCain's mouth... he was boasting! Are you serious?

People just cling to issues like abortion, gun rights etc.
Guns will never be taken away... no Democrat is ever gonna be able to pass a bill banning legal licensed guns. NO ONE is ever gonna take a licensed gun away from those people that are so paranoid that they will. Abortion I don't think will be banned again so people need to move on. If a woman wants to have an abortion and you believe it's wrong and against God and she will end up in ****.... OK. But guess what, it's still her body and her choice and she KNOWS if there is a God she will have to face the consequences later. Pro choice isn't pro abortion. It's PRO a woman's right to choose how she wants to live her life (with a child or without a child).

For the record, I'm not crazy for Obama like most people seem to be (it's actually kind of sickening how people are so obsessed with him). And I don't feel forced to vote for him solely as the alternative to a republican. I'm voting for him as somebody running against a person who agrees with Bush 90% of the time!
 
Uh, yeah, actually. I've dealt with a lot of injustice. Shrug it off and be on your way.

Mnay, MANY of these people want to0 become citizens. Sure they have to pay taxes, but they also get all the pros of being a citizen. Most illegal immigrants don't get very high up jobs or anything over minimum wage at best.
 
LOLZ at illegal immigrants taking American jobs. Why don't people point the finger at the AMERICAN companies hiring them instead of the immigrants so desperate to come here that they break the law, risk jail, hate, violence and death to be here? Those same AMERICAN companies that outsource jobs to other countries because it's cheaper? Get over it, they are the greedy ones... immigrants (illegal or not) are just coming to America because it's supposed to be the land of opportunity. The land of opportunity despite how bad your home country might be. They just want to live a decent life. Those greedy companies want a spoiled luxurious life.

We're all just LUCKY we came out of our mothers on American soil. LUCKY.
 
I agree, there are plenty immigrants that want the same right's as legal citizens, that's why they came here to America, the land of the free. And they should be able to get it....the legal way...

Now lets picture that lots of people start cutting infront of you... something tells me that you wouldnt be to happy. :tongue:

LOL sometimes people make me wonder. Sure, most illegal immigrants today are coming from Spanish speaking countries... but I can't help but wonder if those same Spanish speakers surrounding you knew English [but still spoke their home language] if you'd still be bothered.

And obviously if they're taking buses they're paying to get on the bus aka paying for public transportation aka contributing to the economy!

Welcome to the movement, comrade.

If you're not excited about Obama but can't stand McCain, vote for someone else. There are a number of principled candidates other than John McCain and Barack Obama on the ballot, depending on which state you live in: Bob Barr (49 states), Ralph Nader (45+), Chuck Baldwin (30-something), Cynthia McKinney (30-something). While they differ wildly on ideology, all have pledged to 1) balance the federal operating budget 2) reign in the [prohibitively expensive] American military empire (consistent with #1) 3) repeal provisions of the Patriot Act in violation of our civil liberties and 4) promote sound monetary policy (consistent with #1) -- none of which McCain or Obama were willing to agree to. As far as I'm concerned, these are the real issues, which, conveniently, neither McCain nor Obama have definitively addressed -- period.

It will become clear on Wednesday night during the half-hour primetime Obama blackout that the advertising agency that is the Obama campaign has come full circle. *Your vote has been paid for with tremendous amounts of money using carefully crafted advertising materials, candidate, and pseudo-message(s).

Sarah Palin's $150,000 suits = compliments of the Republican Party. After the election, the suit will be sold, and profits will be donated to charity.

Sarah Palin buys her regular clothes at the consignment shop.

Purple we aren't asking for Abortion to be banned again.
Having it legal is ok with me, however most abortions are for a pathetic reason of convenience.
Sure it may be ok with me if an abortion may be ok in the instance of **** or saving the mother's life.
However Abortion just because you were sleeping around is totally the party's fault.
AS an adopted Child myself I am against pathetic " convenience" abortions.

We don't want Partial birth Abortion to come back.
Or have a Born Alive Child murdered.

Which Obama is fore Partial Birth Abortion and against the right of a Born alive Child the right to live.

Even Hillary Clintion Disagrees with Obama on the Born alive issue.

What makes you think that they will ever actually become legal citizens? If they don't have to pay taxes now, then what in the world would cause them to suddenly want to start paying in the future?

So I guess I can just go out and rob a store. Its illegal but heck, thats life. I also guess that means when ever I don't like what someone does, I can just shoot them and be done with it. As you said, there are somethings that arn't fair, so I guess I can just do what ever I want by your logic.

I agree that the companys shouldnt take advantage of illegal imigrants, but considering that they are breaking the law by comming here in the first place, they are also to blame.

It bothers me because I know that these people are doing NOTHING to learn english at all. Even if they could speak a little english, the best way to learn is to almost always speak english. The very little these people actually pay is far out weighed by what they cost the country.

Again, they then reap all the BENEFITS of citizenship, and with minimum wage in place will probably make more than they do now, and can also live without fear of being deported. I think the question is, why WOULDN'T they?
