Maybe they pushed back the Nationals date announcement because Nationals itself is being pushed back. I doubt they're purposely holding out on us without SOME kind of really good reason, and if Nationals is being pushed back, you would still have generally the same amount of time to make plans.

Unlikely. They need the month+ between Nats and Worlds to get the ranking invites calculated, sent out, confirmed, and booked.

I'm hoping that, if there are no plans to hold a National Championship this year, OP will find some way to compensate its participants. They might stagger the dates for Regionals so we can attend two, for instance.
I just found this past week that due to a major system conversion at our university, no vacation can be taken from June through August. So, I'll send my kid as my proxy.
I don't see them cancelling Nationals. It's funny how they now publish Worlds dates a year in advance, but can't seem to solidify a US Nats date with about 5 months to go. Weird. Must be some scheduling conflicts.

Ok, so it's February 2nd, and STILL nothing at all from POP on nats. They wont even be so kind as to drop by to actually just say "hey guys, don't worry, there is actually a nats this year" or something. I seriously don't think I've ever delt with a company that has worse company/consumer comunications. I'm so sick and tired of NEVER knowing whats going on in this game. It's like walking around in the dark, not knowing if you're going to walk into a bunch of thorns, or if you're going to find a $100 bill. POP's done some great things before, but the whole never knowing anything about whats going on thing is kind of getting old.

We are T+87 days since the one year anniversary date.
We are 41 days into the new year.....

Really though, in the thread about the game dying, Biggie promised us it would happen. I don't know what would help us get the details faster, but being annoyed every few days in this thread doesn't seem to help.
