Non-Professor wins Professor Cup!

This guy isn't even in the T40... so he's trying to earn money to GRIND IN. Sorry but I know for me at least that unless I was a VERY distinguished player, I wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars for the LCQ when I have pressing financial concerns.

I really hope that this guy will get the punishment he deserves, as he clearly used the spirit of other game as toilet paper.
This really sucks, I know a lot of people that work hard and do thousand of kilometers for judging and organizing tournaments and league, while this guy steals the only thing organized for them.

I have seen some questionable bans from the game in the last year, but if OP doesnt ban this guy I don't know what ban exists for.

He may have been an ineligible player, but he still beat everyone in a straight up game of Pokemon, by the same rules everyone else played by. He crashed an elitist party, and beat them at their own game. I understand both sides of the story, but honestly, anyone crying "I deserve to win because he was ineligible" really doesn't understand the spirit of the game either. Call the whole thing off and donate the prize to charity.

The tournament is supposed to find the best Professor, not the best player. Beating them at their own game? You make it sound like there is some grudge between the Professors and Players, when in fact I'm sure a lot of players are angry that this has happened, because they have respect for the effort that people put in to run tournaments and like to see them get a reward for it.

The person who got second deserved to win, and should be given the prizes and award. If you win Second Place, then that shows you were superior to everyone in that tournament aside from the winner, who shouldn't be counted.

The purpose of tournaments like this, and those similar to players, is to give something as a reward to a specific group of people. Would this make it OK for players to enter other countries Nationals and take the prize support from the local players, since they can beat them in a straight up game of Pokemon? Should it be OK for people to gatecrash Worlds provided they win some games, since they could beat them in a straight up game of Pokemon?

Very well said! I do not know why other people cant understand this simple explanation and instead tries to twist and justify AA's win.

But in all seriousness, I gotta make things right. I'm fairly sure I'll get a band but there should be some way to re pay the debt I owe to the professors. I won't stop until it gets right.

This guy replies on a hate thread 22 pages long basically dedicated to him screwing up on a terrible issue that started out as a joke.

He's nice enough to repent for what he does, post numerous times on here, AND say that he is proudly returning everything back to Pokemon, and from what I've seen, he's been doing all this in a kind fashion.
