all i see in the posts above is people not believing what he posted, since the same promises were posted earlier this week but with no follow up.
in fact dude had a new interview published today where he said he'd still do the same thing again knowing the reaction of the community, and that he'd only send the prizes back if TPCi made him do so...

The vast majority of people, for some reason, don't take a nice and good apology. No idea why. He already said he will do whatever it takes to make amends, and he is taking actions to make those amends. And yet, you guys insist on trashing him some more?

He already said sorry numerous times and is taking actions to return the items. What else can you really do? Seriously, think about it.
He already freaking admitted to what he did, and said that what he did was wrong.
I don't think a life-long ban is right. Like Regis Neo just said, he won't be playing for a while because of college - 4 years. Wouldn't you guys think he's sorry enough without being banned from a supposedly "kind" community of this awesome game? Seriously guys. He's taken enough hate from what he did.

as i said earlier without us professors, pto, to, and lo you wouldnt be sitting there winning anything because there would be no tournies or leagues.

Did you also talk to Pokemon about why you have two different POP IDs registered? You know, one with your real name, and one with your pseudonym? Apparently you've been playing under both of them this season, because the real one is rated at 1701.94, and the pseudonym is at 1663.14. That alone should have gotten you a ban before you got anywhere near Indianapolis and the Professor Cup.

They're everywhere. You're back a dozen pages doing it as well when you called him a tool, though that has been edited out which was the right thing to do. You fixed a mistake you made and you deserve a thank you for it even though it did, or might have, caused a little uproar.
And so does this guy. Nothing is truly a mistake unless you refuse to correct it, and he has taken the steps to do so. Did he do it because of pressure? Was he going to do it on his own anyway? That doesn't matter now. None of us are judge or jury. I'm going to publicly say thanks to him for doing the right thing and working with people to get things straight.
You know now that I think about it, he never once actually gloated about it. He never went anything like: "LOL i BEAT PROFESSORZ! NOOBS! TROLLD! WENT INTO PROF CUP EVENT, BEAT PROFS, WON TROPHY, PROFIT, PROBLEM TPCi????" He certainly did something wrong, but he wasn't a jerk about it.
I dunno, this is all crazy. Why bother discussing it at all.

Yes sir. And I'm sure that will be taking in while they determine the punishment. I used the Pseudonym so others could recognize me from online. I only used it in nationals. That was wrong to, and I'll get soundly punished for it.

Guys, I know you're upset, but this guy has done all he can do and said all he can say, insulting him more isn't going to reverse time or anything. I'm not defending him or anything, but jeez, get off his case. This guy is obviously sorry and ready to accept the punishment, this thread should be locked, but the mods are too busy breaking their rules and arguing with him for hours.

When I clicked the Ebay link, which does indeed say the trophy has been taken off, it gave me a list of related items I might be interested in instead. This included 5 Imposter Professor Oaks

Here's the deal for all of you saying that we should all forgive and forget. One man's forgiveness is another's being taken for a fool. Considering that he's already lied about his name as well, the guys who are most hurt by this aren't taking anything he says at face value. After all, one lie begets another. I say he's just trying to save his own skin in the eyes of the community.

The use of a pseudonym is very different than having 2 active IDs concurrently. So, I assume you were cool with using 2 active IDs...? :nonono:
This really gets to me as well, I would have loved to play in Nationals with a new P!P ID and not risk a Worlds Invite.
