McCain has lost Ohio. Badly. That is game, set, and match for Obama. The rest of the night is irrelevant.
 
200-90 obama!!! and it seems that he will get about 54 more votes w/ florida, colorado, and north carolina.
 
I wouldn't call FL or NC for quite some time, even though their polls are closed. However, knowing some minor election superstitions and trivia, no President in the past 50 years has won the Presidency without Ohio, even though its statistically possible to do so.

So, yeah, not gonna concede it yet b/c I still want people out West to vote, but this is very close to being called Obama as soon as more polls come in (i.e. probably past midnight tonight IRL, but could be as soon as the end of the next hour).

Umm, go Obama? Should be an intriguing 4 years?
 
Obama takes Ohio. That's officially the news of the night. CNN is pretty much calling the election right now. They're basically saying that McCain has to win every single state from here on out except for California in order to win. They're not even discussing California as a potential McCain steal.

Methinks it's ova right here, but there's still 76 electoral votes that need to be counted for Obama's victory. Stay tuned!
