I've got some points for you.
NO ONE has come up with a deck to beat GG/Pl0x consistantly, and still survive in the format. Banette is good vs GG, but it dies against practically anything else.
Also, I don't think Gino L. invented the deck, but he sure played it better, because he won Nats. It really doesn't matter who invented the deck if the concept is pretty much screaming in your face from the set spoilers. Kinda like AMU, there is no true "inventer," because everyone can see the cards go together. So you're saying if I don't invent the deck I'm playing, there is no possible way I can reach the culmination of knowing the deck? I doubt that. Most skilled players can, after intense playtesting, learn the ins and outs of ANY deck. Everyone knows what the cards do, the only thing you have to learn is strategy, and that just takes practice. Indeed, Martin won Nats 2 years ago, with a deck he didn't even have until the day before the tourney. Someone just gave him the deck, he playtested it, and then went on to be better than the creator of the deck. Looks like that statement of yours doesn't hold water.
Yes, Torterra does give you some credit, but it didn't win Nats. GG did.
