Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

It's saying the server I specified is unavailable. I did recently change modems, but the rest of my internet is working fine.

*sigh*

Why does PTCGO have to be such a pain?

Tried Reinstalling and it did nothing.
 
It does that on occasion. Maybe it's when they are about to do maintenance?

BTW it was that Crookidille, though she had easily enough energy to do the other attack...
She also does this thing with a Conkeldurr where it forces her to discard cards off the top of the deck.
She actually decked herself at least twice...

So does anybody from the development team actually read this?

Just wondering cause it would be nice to practice with the basic Yellow, Orange, and Power Relay decks in Trainer Challenge.
Technically they are starters...

Also they really need to fix the issues with the points, the constant switching back to unlimited/beginner, or the switching of trainers to the last guy you can face (despite not beating anybody else in the league).
 
Well, there's the NVI 64 Conk, but that one says opponent's deck...

I hope that's what it is, but it also might be something with my firewall (which was recently updated with my modem). I had updated it to allow PTCGO, but it still won't work. Very frustrating.
 
Unresolved Issues
Play!: Trainer Challenge scoring uses the Easy difficulty modifier unless a player views the difficulty setting between each match.

Play!: Completing a Versus Mode match returns the player to the landing page.

Play!: All Versus Mode settings reset between matches.

Trade: Including more than 6 items in a trade will disable the ability to create or accept a trade.

Shop: Clicking the Cards button briefly displays Gems and Trainer Tokens as redeemable in the Shop.

a very frustrating bug indeed.i sometimes think public trade is spammed with 6+ kinda offers because people don't want others to get to the "good" offers.and by good i mean more than the obvious scammer/rude offer of 1 pf pack for deoxys ex.

Am i correct that the password and login is not working correctly? It is saying that the information i am typing in is invalid?
 
I can't even get on the forums now. I type my login information and it just redirects me to the main pokemon page. This wouldn't be a problem if they'd let you view the forums as a lurker, but you can't. And since I need the forums to find the firewall thread, this is very very frustrating.

I hate to sound like I hate the program (I don't), but it's not the most user friendly thing.
 
yes thats exactly what's happening to me... its like the system isnt recognizing my login information or my account.... why do I feel like everytime there is an "update" it is like move forward 1 step and move back 3.... I wrote them an email so hopefully they realize the problem exists soon.... anyone else having this problem?
 
Was playing the trainer challenge with the bw basic green deck. U can play 2 town maps in a row even if u have your prizes already face up. Minor gameplay rule error but just thought y'all should know.
 
Yeah, I have done that a few times with Town Map.
It kinda helps with Bianca/Bicycle also in the deck IIRC.

Kinda like it lets you play Superior Energy Retrieval with no energy in discard.

BTW pretty sure Juji uses a variation of the basic Orange deck.
Might be a Gigalith doing the discard thing?
I know she has Throh, Conkeldurr, Crookadile, and Gigalith in there.
Plus Hippowdon & Lucario IIRC.

I posted a couple of messages on the forum on the PTCGO site.
Basically I took out the "s" at the end of Http and it worked (after logging in).
 
How to fix login failing

After yesterday's maintenance on PTCGO the login ID became case sensitive. I could no longer use guestuser17 and instead had to use GuestUser17. I hope that helps.
 
Not a PTCGO bug, but I'm not able to access the forums during maintenance.

Don't know why they made the login case sensitive. All it does is make it harder to login.

That is intentional. It's to allow them to correctly code for foreign character sets.
 
If you evolve a Trubbish that has a Tool attached into Garbodor while Gothitelle is active, you still don't get to play Items. Garbotoxin should shut off Magic Room, but it doesn't register.

Originally you couldn't accept trades with more than 6 items because you first had to scroll down to view the entire offer before accepting. They forgot to close an if{} statement to see if you viewed the entire trade.
 
Heaps error has nothing to do with TPCI and everything to do with the engine the game is coded on (Unity). Even Unity's own forums yield no answer in regards to that error.
