Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

I was playing against a Garchomp deck. Their Gible used Sand attack. On my turn, I retreated to a sableye and used junk hunt. I was pleasantly surprised I didn't still have to flip like I usually do.

Then, three turns later, the game forced me to flip on a Night Spear from Darkrai, and tails prevented it. Sand attack wasn't used on any other turn of the game than the first.

Opponent had Ampharos active with Electromagnetic Wall, I dynamotored and it put 3 damage counters on anyway.

Using Chandure's Cursed Shadow, I took 20 damage every time I placed a damage counter on my opponent's active Lucario (with ability).

Virizion's Leaf Wallop still does 80 damage after being catchered to the bench the previous turn.

Long story short-

They haven't figured out the difference between "damage" and damage counters.

They haven't figured out clearing effects by retreating to the bench.

I'm actually quite disappointed by this.

Confusion self damage to an Eviolited basic 'shows' as a 10, but it does in fact apply 3 damage counters on you. It's just the notification that's wrong.

If Virizion hit for 80 it's turn then you catchered it to the bench on your turn, it will still hit 80 on it's following turn.

Not sure if it has been said already, but quite often while I am playing, the game just stops. By this I mean the game will cease to continue, yet all of the animations(such as the holographic effect) will continue as well as the timer. At this point there are no options to click on and you just become stuck. The concede button doesn't even work. The only thing to do is to exit the program and load it up again.

In game vs. user YouReadyForThis, I knocked out 7 durant and was only able to take 5 prizes -the ones with giant cape attached did not allow me to take prizes. (yep, giant cape, not rescue scarf).

If you use Crushing Hammer and chose a Pokemon on the bench with a tool attached, you can't pick an energy because the tool is in the way. There's also no cancel button, so you time out and lose.

Also, tool is censored, guess they're items now.

Yes, tool is censored. Some of these censored words really beg to have an explanation to go with them...

fwiw I had this similar problem, but i kept clicking on the glowing yellow around (more on the left and right sides) the border of the energy, and eventually was able to choose the energy.

LOL! This is hilarious.

Not sure if its been said but zen mode Darmanitans (NXD 60) second attack doesn't work right with Double Colorless Energy. It provides the energy necessary to attack but only provides one energy, not letting you flip two coins.

my opponent inferno fandango'd onto his active emboar and the energies came into play facedown. he got them back from the discard pile earlier that turn with a fisherman. i could still target the energies with crushing hammer, but if i remember correctly they didn't "light up" for me.

Yes that''s what I also found out when I used Sand Attack (Gible) against somebody.
When they got back from the bench they still had to flip.
