Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

Is it just me or has things been a lot more laggy since the recent update? It even takes longer for the sign in screen to appear.

Looks like the dreaded Twist Mountain bug still exists even to this day. When the game is a long one, flipping heads on Twist Mountain has a greater chance of causing the entire game minus the chat to freeze. Neither player will get timed out or have the ability to forfeit.

When I go on build a deck, and look at my RH Plasma Energy, it has the Ace-spec outline on it. Not gamebreaking (from what I can tell) and it still lets me use an ace-spec in the deck. Just a weird graphics glitch.

G Booster works very strangely. I had an active Genesect EX and a second one on the bench with a G Booster attached, but the active one had the option to use G Booster. However, when the active got knocked out, the one that actually had the Tool attached couldn't use it!

Also, the opponent's avatar is always bald for some reason...

Same here, and sometimes, when I dont even have a second Genesect, the one with G Booster cant even use the attack. Lost a couple games cuz of that.

I'm pretty certain I'm right on this, but the Compendium is down and the Search isn't working right.

Registeel EX's Triple Laser is allowing my opponent to pick the same Pokemon twice.

It shouldn't be able to do that.

Three Pokemon. If there are less than 3, then you hit those two. Once each. Or that one. Once.

This is the first time I've seen this happen. It happened in the City Championships of the Single Player, against Rika in Game 10.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but Trubbish's Tool Drop attack doesn't recognize all the tools attached to Tool Box Sigiliph.

Was playing this earlier, and did notice the lag had increased.
The avatars do appear bald until you get into the game (at least my avatar did this).

There are some annoying issues with the messages you get.
It says "you got a booster pack" yet I don't have any.
There is also some message about "deck modified" that won't go away.

Noticed when typing in codes it sometimes glitches and entered the last letter as a code.

Also the AI is really odd.
They played a switch, and then proceed to retreat the active to put the same Pokemon in play as before the switch.

After a really long lag (plying the trainer challenge with the Plasma Blast Solar Strike deck), I gave up.
Was doing something really simple (attaching an energy to a benched Pokemon).
It just locks up (did for about 2 minutes).
Mind you this is at the library on their newest computers.
With all the animations turned off & setting at "fastest".
Of course it was kinda busy, so it's possible the Internet was slower than usual.

Quick update on the Trubbish not recognizing all the tools on Tool Box Sigiliph situation. Trubbish now recognizes some...whichever tools he deems worthy to be recognized, and factors them into the damage. I was supposed to attack for 220 damage (11 tools) and only hit for 160 (8 tools). It's better than nothing, but there's still a ways to go.

Did you happen to notice if your opponent had any Tools in play? I was swinging for 160 one game too, but my opponent had two tools in play.

Wasn't the new modified format supposed to begin starting with the PB update? I can still use Gothitelle decks when selecting Modified.

The new modified format takes effect on the 28th. I don't know if PTCGO will be updated then, but Gothitelle is still legal for another couple of days :)

Did anyone have any difficulty using gbooster when the opponent has garbotoxin active?

I did and resulted in the loss.

Tool drop and PB Sigilyph don't work correctly together, tool drop doesn't account for the additional tools on Sigilyph

When Minun uses Negative Ion against a Pokémon, the effect doesn't go away even if the Pokémon targeted by it goes to the bench. Since the effect is on the Defending Pokémon, it should go away when it hits the bench. My Haxorus with two Metal Energy attached still did 50 damage with Dragonaxe.

Lots of things were fixed, but somehow other things got broken. Darkrai EX's Dark Cloak doesn't interact very well with Garbodor's Garbotoxin. After my opponent played a Tool Scrapper to discard my Float Stone off the Garbodor, I still had to pay two Energy to retreat my Darkrai EX. Another time I was able to retreat for free even with a Tool attached to Garbodor. It's very inconsistent.

If you have two Plasma Metagross in play, it lets you use Plasma Search twice, despite the ability saying you can only use one.
