So what is happening with all the cards and tokens I'm supposedly winning? It appears I have none and I'm guessing thats what the Deck Building feature that isn't ready yet will be for. So am I losing opportunities of getting Tokens/Cards by playing before those features are ready?

Overall this is awesome, I did notice the game being a bit laggy when selecting stuff but it could be my computer since it has been a couple of days since I last re-started it or my internet connection which is really bad.

Take it easy, just play for fun! You are not 'losing' opportunities, we don't even know how it will work yet, and who knows, companies usually reward people who help beta test their products.

This basically confirms B/W rules. Playing trainers first turn, Supporters discarded, etc.

The fact that all the decks are HGSS-on alarms me as well.

Some detections aren't working correctly. I blanked a guy on one of my games, and I didn't get the achievement for not allowing my opponent a prize. I'm also pretty certain that I haven't hit for 100 damage yet, and it gave me that one.

its interesting to note that i saw no cards earlier than sf which could maybe mean we will have a sf -on format who knows

I'm impressed so far. I've spotted a few issues, but nothing too major. My biggest complaint is that it lags a bit. Very impressed, but a full judgment will be made when the PvP and deckbuilder comes. I can see it getting tedius to play out long turns with the system, but the engine just works fine (anything to discourage you from playing Uxie donk is good in my book).

There were Charmanders/meleons in SF?

Yep. It was the reprint of the Base Set Charizard line.

I had fun, ran through the first league with Firestarter, disappointed that I didn't get a 12th card, I was much expecting/hoping for a Typhlosion Prime. Some of the deck "upgrades" did make me go "Why?!", like trading out both PlusPowers, but overall it was a fun experience. I can't wait for the deck editor and shop.

I saw a Gengar SF and I was like....What the heck.

But yeah, im 12-0 with Gatr so far. Out of the 3 starter deck, Gatr interests me the most. So yeah.

Gotta wait 3 hrs. Ugh.

Good thing they went down for server maintenance just now, or I would have played the second round of 5 games...

All in all, fun stuff. I'm impressed with the first effort, and this is excellent for newcomers to the game.

So my verdict right now is: when I feel like playing any kind of fun "casual" game online, I'm turning to Pokemon TCG!

uhh, yeah.........

Way to be helpful. I wasn't playing when that set was released so I don't really remember what the secret rares were.

But! Hopefully this isn't confirmation of no rotation and they're simply giving us the cardpool we already have for the sake of not confusing anyone TOO much.

I played it today and so far no complaints. It crashed a few times, as a beta does, but everything that it's lacking is labelled coming soon and the graphics, while a little too time consuming, are really well done. I found it funny that the table and cards on this free flash game look better than their counterparts in mtg's paid console game. I was also super relieved when I saw it had it's own currency (meaning no real money for fake cards crap) and pre-hgss cards.
