Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Oregon State Championship - March 1, 2008

Although I will not be in attendance, Oregon States will begin the event EVERYONE has been waiting for.....
THE OPTWOBFNSNSBN (The Official Pokemon TCG Washington-Oregon Battle For Northwest Superiority Not Sanctioned By Nintendo).
Btw, I did NOT even need to go back and look up what the accronym meant. ;p

In the three big Northwest events, Oregon states, Washington states, and Northwest Regionals, the two states will do battle and score points. Each age division winner gets a point for their state. (if someone out of state wins, it goes to 2nd place and so on until we have a WA/OR player). So there are 9 points at stake.

If you spend considerable time in each state, you may be given the choice of representing both states, and if you win would give .5 to each state. Final decisions on who rightfully is a representative of Washington or Oregon are made by the OPTWOBFNSNSBN director (me) as decided at the 2004 Vancouver Convention.

Any disputes to the scoring of the OPTWOBFNSNSBN will follow the OPTWOBFNSNSBN appeals process, with a national panel as the final means of appeal as stated at the 2004 Vancouver Convention.

Washington has won all 3 years of the OPTWOBFNSNSBN. Last year's score was WA 7.5 OR 1.5
Will Washington's dominance continue? Or will Oregon close the gap and pull the upset?

what happens if that one guy who beat greg came up again tho? it would ruin the balance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyways, i think everyone knows that JigglyBOOM is going to be the most popular deck there. I am already prepared for all the mirror matches! ;P

No points for Idaho as I don't think anyone can safely say there will be a significant amount of Washington and Oregon players at that event. (At least not anywhere near the 3 OPTWOBFNSNSBN events).

What if a Washington farmer is Washingtons of corn stalks. Any way we can throw carrots at him and tell him to raise Big Macs instead of crunchy, delicious innuendo?

Can't wait for States, only 5 days left. Man, I'm psyched to continue my winning streak and send the Washington players back home empty handed.

Still not sure if Team Rocket will show up. Salem is so insanely far away when your van is totaled.

At least the Rocket Prodigy and Rocket Admin will show up, but since the boss won't be there I don't see any point in wearing the uniforms.

Thanks for the directions. I am driving my Junior Division son up from Ukiah, CA, and have a hotel to rest in Friday after driving 9 hours. We'll see you early Saturday morning.
