Nah, I wasn't the one who said his taste was bad, I was just echoing whoever said it before.
I believe that would have been me.

Well, my opinion is that his tastes are bad. ;/ I'm free to have opinions and voice them, right? ;p So, my opinion is that his opinion is wrong. :D

I wasn't directing that at you, B_T. Sorry, I should have made that more clear.

Well, then you stated your opinion like a fact, which is more or less what the thread creator did.

I hope everyone gets my point by now.

Yes, and my OPINION is the KH sucks. Don't agree with me if you don't want to. That's just what I think. But I'm afraid you'll have to find a VERY good reason to disagree with me when regarding that a game's SALES decide a game's QUALITY.

It's pretty much understood that it was my opinion. I really shouldn't have to say things like "in my opinion" or "I think." I'm the one saying it, so it's kinda obvious it's my opinion, yeah? ;/ I really don't give a flying flip if the game appeals to him or not. However, the game most certainly does not suck. FPS games don't much appeal to me, but I don't think Halo 2 sucks. :/ Rhythm games (other than Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!) don't appeal to me, but I don't think DDR sucks (except when obese people do it, but that is an entirely different discussion... ._.). Kingdom Hearts is obviously a quality game chock full of hours of entertainment that is being bashed by someone who probably hardly played any of it.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes won Game of the Year from Nintendo Power for a reason.
Yeah, because we all know that the company that produced the game would never be biased about it, right?
Look up the standard review of Echoes, then look up the reviews for something like Timesplitters: Future Perfect.
The very notion that a game being noted as good by the voice of the very company who made the game, does indeed make it a good game is laughable at best.

However, let's go along with your logic for this. . .
I'm guessing that you agree that all of the games that Xbox magazine says are great, are indeed great(simply because an obviously biased source stands to gain profits by making you think that)?

I'm in agreement with others on this one though, if you like Castlevania, then you now have no reasoning for saying that Kingdom Hearts is a horrible game and that makes you a troll.

I didn't play the game much but I did play it a bit at Shukuen's house before. It's a great game. And I'm 27 I hate the Mature games. I've always loved the Action/Adventure RPG games. I rather take a fun game than a mature game.
I'm 19 and I agree with you completely. Games are indeed meant to be a form of escape from reality(like most forms of entertainment).

Nintendo Power isn't Nintendo. They do not simply say whatever Nintendo tells them to. BTW, the annual NP Awards are decided BY THE READERS. THEY ARE THE VOTERS AND THEREFORE DECIDE. I despise Xbox. Though Rare games can be interesting.

UF, did it ever occur to you that this game would be EXACTLY the same a SSBM if it was the same genre?

Just to implant something in your head...

How, exactly? How are the best fighting game ever made and KH even SIMILAR?

Well, think about it. Some characters on SSBM are little kiddy like characters (Kirby, Ice Climbers, Pichu), and some are really big and powerful (Bowser, Samus, and Ganondorf), and you vae them going at each other. Isn't that a little like this?

Man

Well, I love KH a ton. I already reserved my copy of KH 2 way back in like September from Amazon  You can't really argue that the graphics are bad, because the game was released in 2001 and they still are good graphics. I must agree that the camera is a bit weird, but they fixed that for KH 2.

Well, you're trying to force your opinions on other people, thus it becomes our business that you're being an idiot.

However, I must agree with UF here that sales don't determine quality. Look at utter **** like FFX2 that sells well but has no worthwhile content at all. I'd cite GTA for a bigger effect but then people would lump me in with UF for "bad taste in games." Case in point, UF is an idiot, he just has a point with the "number of sales != quality" comment.

I dunno, I liked the PvP part of it. My deck was so weird though, I spent hours on a premium deck so I could sleight up like ten Ultima Weapon, Divine Rose, etc combos, and then Elixir them all back in. Wasn't good for huge, long fights like the final battle, but for anything where you could win in just a few minutes, it was brutal.

Oh yeah, and Riku Mode was purely awesome, mostly because Riku is one of the deeper characters in the series.

Kh Sux Zomgzorxzzz!!! <(^_~)>

Anyone that wants to win at SSBM doesn't use Pichu or Kirby. That's suicide.
I use Pichu and Kirby rather proficiently (and I actually prefer going solo when using the Ice Climbers), but that's beside the point. The point is that you dislike Kingdom Hearts, and I now dislike you.

...Just kidding, I couldn't stay serious on that one for long...lol

You have your opinions, and you are entitled to them. However, the way you are conveying said opinions to the rest of us is rather disheartening, to say the least.

I should note that I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and I cannot wait for KH2 to finally be released here in the US of A (my PS2 will finally have a use other than collecting dust).

Another thing worthy of rebuttal are your views regarding Nintendo Power. I was, at one time, a long-time subscriber to NP, and I enjoyed the magazine for quite some time. Then, I got a subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly and noticed how much better the reviews were than those in NP (NP was giving decent scores to That's So Raven!). The next time I got that little letter in the mail saying it was time for me to renew my subscription to Nintendo Power, I promptly usde the letter to make a nice, cozy fire.

Thank you for your time.
