it's because we've seen the figures, they look nice. not fail like some of the other toys we've seen.. but I hope they don't "talk" that would be horrid.
 
MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE FULL ART RESHIRAMS AND ZEKROMS, EMBOAR RH INFERNO FANDANGO, PIKACHU SECRET RARE AS HAPPY MEAL CARDS.

If so I will have to steal toys from kids like I used to in the 1st grade >:O

Hmm, the toys look a lot like the basic figures. I was expecting them to be badly made, but that is a nice surprise. I hope you can get the cards individually if you want though, because I don't want to buy 12 figures and get 12 random cards, which is very unlikely I'll get them all.
 
I am SO happy that they're using the Journey Partners cards for this - even the original artwork for the three Starters, too! Yeah they're worthless in the metagame but as a collector it makes me squeal that they're not being left behind for Japan only.
 
I know I'm a bit late to the last page's conversation, but I believe KFC was the first partner in terms of fast food with Pokemon when it was released stateside, with those adorable plush beanbags of Vulpix, Dratini, Seel, and Zubat...I have all 4 lying around still actually, really should dig them out, nice little bit of Pokemon history there. Back then Dratini creeped me out though, still reminds me a bit of a slug...

Did those come out before BK released the like 52 pokemon each with a pokeball? (Which almost caused them to be sued)
 
I almost have half the cards! I have Tepig, Blitzle Maractus, Alomomomola, and Pidove.

I have the toys: Oshawott, Zoroark, Reshiram, and Tepig
 
Picked up 3 figures yesterday. Osha, Rat, and Resh. Got 2 Sandile and a Zorua. I really hope that there's going to be easier ways to get some of these cards, especially that Zorua.
