Chapter 11

Battle Roads and College classes are over. So now I should be posting chapters for frequently. Hope you all like this one. It was supposed to be the darkest chapter in this story, but I decided to save some of that for a later chapter.

Chapter 11: “Not Very Effective”​

AJ, Lucas, and Xero flew together on AJ shiny Rayquaza. The trip took a short five minutes since Rayquaza used Extreme Speed. As soon as they arrived at the Beltrans home, AJ recalled his Shiny Rayquaza back into his PRi.
Xero: “Nice house.” Xero looked at the Beltran’s home. It was like any other suburban home, two storeys tall, cream colored, two sets of windows on the second level looking out into the neighbourhood.
AJ: “Yeah, well at least you won’t be staying too long.” AJ went up the porch steps and then opened the door. His mother was in kitchen and the kitchen table was already set for four. There was the PB&J sandwich for Lucas, a turkey sandwich with the family sauce for AJ, a second turkey sandwich supposedly for Xero, and the forth plate just had a store bought ceaser salad from Costco.

Lucas: “Oh boy, I’m hungry!” Lucas sat into the wooden chair with in front of his plate and then served himself some orange juice from the pitcher near the flower vase in the center of the table. AJ was still at the front door hanging his black Northface jacket on the coat rack. Soon Mrs. Beltran emerged from the kitchen with a tray of fresh baked cup cakes still in the oven tray, holding it with a towel instead of an oven mitt.

Lucas: “Thanks mom!” Lucas jumped up and reached for one of the cup cakes.
Mrs. Beltran: “Uh uh uh, not until you finish your sandwich first.” She set the tray down on the kitchen counter near the cutting board. She turned and saw Xero and AJ removing their shoes at the front door.
AJ: “Hi mom. Lunch smells good.”
Xero: “Greetings.” Even though it was still winter and it was cold outside, Mrs. Beltran found it odd Xero was still wearing his thick brown cloak.
Mrs. Beltran: “Hello there… Xero was it?”

Xero: “Yes ma’am. But I spell it with an ‘X’ instead of a ‘Z.’”
Mrs. Beltran: “Why not hang your cloak, or jacket, or whatever it is you’re wearing on the hanger right there?” Xero felt a little embarrassed. He hardly ever removed his cloak.
Xero: “I feel naked without my cloak.” Mrs. Beltran didn’t know what to say after that. Lucas swallowed his bite out of his sandwich before he spoke.
Lucas: “I told you he was a weirdo.”
Xero: “Pardon me, but it’s winter and I have get Hypothermia very easily. This is because my core body temperature is lower then the average human’s.”

AJ: “No way. You should have constant Hypothermia is your core body temperature is lower then mine.”
Xero: “I’m from the future. I’ve received quite a bid of medical treatments when I was much younger. Treatments that your decade’s leading physicians have yet to discover.” Lucas didn’t even want to know what Xero had been through, or hear his bizarre explanations about his condition. He quickly finished his sandwich as soon as Xero and AJ sat down and began eating theirs. Then he went to the living room and released his three main pokemon.
Lucas: “Spiny, Kirlia, and Machop. Come on out.” Lucas’ PRi lit up and his three Pokemon appeared in the living room. Spiny greeted Kirlia with a friendly lick while Machop patted Kirlia on it head.
Xero: “Why is your brother releasing his pokemon?”
AJ: “Lucas treats his Pokemon more like pets. He and I are allergic to anything with fur, so this is a nice substitute for him.”

Kirlia (telepathically): Where am I?
Lucas: “This is my home Kirlia. You can live with us now that I’ve rescued you from Xero.” Kirlia peered into the kitchen and saw Xero sitting down with AJ. Suddenly Kirlia was alarmed.
Kirlia: Lucas, get Xero out of here! He’s dangerous.
Lucas: “I know he’s dangerous, but right now we have no choice.” Xero heard what Lucas was saying and knew Kirlia was using Synchronize Ability to communicate with Lucas.
Kirlia: No! Lucas, listen to me! There’s something I have to tell you about Xero!

AJ: “What’s with Kirlia and Lucas?” Xero got up from his chair and used a napkin to wipe some mustard off his lip.
Xero: “Kirlia spent too much time with as my prisoner.”
AJ: “Huh?” Xero walked toward the living room where Lucas was hanging out with his three pokemon. He was about to sit down on his bean bag chair when Xero called out.
Xero: “Kirlia, do me a favour and keep quiet.”
Kirlia: Make me! You’re nothing but a freak of nature! Xero had reached into his pockets and pulled out a transparent blue stone with a white center.

Xero: “Think fast!” He threw the stone at Kirlia and Kirlia quickly reacted and caught it.
Kirlia: What is this? Oh! The stone glowed, then Kirlia began glowing with it. Soon Kirlia began growing taller and changing shape.
Lucas: “Kirlia?”
AJ: “Xero gave Kirlia a Dawn Stone? What for?” Soon the glowing for of a Gallade took shape in the room, and then the evolution sequence was finished as the light faded and Gallade appeared.
Gallade: “Gallade? Gallade?” Gallade was shock at his own unexpected evolution. It looked at its own sword-like arms and then looked down at Lucas since he had become quite taller then his trainer.

Lucas: "That was uncalled for Xero! You didn't have to do that to my Kirlia."
Xero: "It annoyed me. In fact I think I did you a favor."
Spiny: "Nido Nido!" Spiny pointed its horn at Xero. It looked like it wanted to attack Xero head on.
Xero: “I had to shut off it’s Synchronize Ability permanently. Would you prefer if I killed it?”
Lucas: "You make me soooooo angry!"
Xero: “I could’ve called out my Mewtwo, but the PRi’s are insufficient. They’re unable to digitize legendary pokemon.”
Lucas: “I don’t need legendary pokemon to send you packing you butthead!”

AJ: "Knock it off Lucas." AJ placed a hand on his brother's shoulder. Lucas let out a deep sigh. The three of them sat back down on the kitchen table. Each of them about to snack on a cup cake. Lucas decided to let his Nidorino, Machop, and Gallade lounge in the living room.
Xero: “Allow me to expand on my intentions.”
Lucas: “Is this going to be like in the movies where the bad guy reveals his plan and we have to figure out how to get back with Chase and Vik and stop you?”
AJ: “Lucas, stay quiet and let’s hear what Xero has to say.”
Xero: "Back to business. Team Chaos wants to change the world, and they'll do it using the ledgendary pokemon of Sinnoh."

AJ: "I thought you said the PRi's are incapable of digitizing ledgendary pokemon."
Xero: "And yet the Team Chaos Boss has managed to digitize a Giratina, and Arceus will be next."
AJ & Lucas: "Arceus?"
AJ: "This could be bad." Meanwhile, Spiny decided to get back at Xero. It walked over to where Xero's chair and then turned its back towards him. Then it lifted one hind leg up.
AJ: “So how’d they digitize a Giratina and how come the Cartridge Balls could call out legendary pokemon when the PRi’s can’t?”

Xero: “Jason invented the PRi and programmed them to make Pokemon more interactive with humans once they’re released from the game. Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heartgold, and SoulSilver are also programmed to give Pokemon personalities. Do ‘Alert to sounds’ or ‘likes to thrash about’ mean anything to you?” Spiny had finished doing its job. It then walked away and then rested near Lucas’ chair. He reached down and petted his Nidorino.
AJ: “Of course. So what is it about personalities that makes it harder to digitize pokemon?”

Xero: “Legendary pokemon are hard to digitize because they require more energy. The PRi’s use a special technology far more advance then the cartridge balls. A special energy is used when the PRi creates a pokemon and releases it into the real world. Creating something like a Pigey or even a Metagross requires not much. However, the PRi’s have data on a Pokemon’s behavior taken from their Pokedex describtions from every game and even from how they acted in the cartoon show. Thus, more data means more energy and legendary pokemon have the most data out of any other pokemon.”
AJ: “I get it. Legendary Pokemon are special to the pokemon world and they’re powerful. So the PRi’s would probably crash if I tried to call out my Latios?”

Xero: “If you can gather enough energy you could digitize your Latios into the real world. Shade has already reprogrammed his PRi to summon his Darkrai.”
Lucas: “Great, they are one step ahead of us.” Lucas had finished eating his cup cake. He got up and threw away the garbage and crumbs on his plate then left his plate in the sink.
Xero: “You’re lucky I decided to even give you each a PRi. Stealing them from Team Chaos was not easy. So like I said, I’m doing you fools a favor and so you should return the favor.”

Lucas: “Not even if you paid me!” AJ then took the last bite of his cup cake before he spoke again.
AJ: “So what’s your plan?” He then crumpled up his napkin and threw it into the garbage can from where he sat.
Xero: “It’s probably better if I show you.” Xero got up, but as soon as his foot hit the ground everyone heard a faint splash. Xero and AJ looked down and saw a puddle of pale yellow liquid where he had placed his left foot. Spiny then snickered and soon they all understood what had happened. Lucas was the first to burst out laughing.

Lucas: “Way to go Spiny! You rock!” AJ tried to hide his laughter but kept on cracking up.
AJ: “Wow, first time Spiny’s ever gone to the bathroom before. I guess the PRi has given him more then extra personalities.”
Xero: “Ug, you disgusting creature. I shall destroy you!” Xero was about to pull out his PRi when suddenly Gallade had moved with blinding speed. First it used Confusion to lift Xero and then place him two feet above the ground and against the kitchen wall. It then pressed its right arm blade against Xero’s neck threatening the enemy. Lucas was shocked.

Lucas: “How’d Gallade move so fast?” Xero stood still. He looked into Gallade’s eyes and saw its hatred it had for him.
Xero: “Gallade’s Steadfast ability must’ve given it the speed it needed to stop me from attack your precious Spiny.”
Gallade: “Gal!” The blade close to Xero’s neck began glowing bright blue.
Xero: “How nice. You’ve learned Psycho Cut.”

Gallade: “Lade! Gallade!” Xero only gave out a half smile. Despite having a Psycho Cut attack inches from his throat his seemed perfectly calm.
AJ: “Lucas, you need to get Gallade to calm down.”
Lucas: “But I can’t talk to Gallade anymore. It doesn’t have Synchronize anymore. Besides, Xero earned it if you ask me.” Xero and Gallade stood were they where. Xero was still pinned against the wall and he still wasn’t showing any signs or fear.

Xero: “You want to be a hero? Do it Gallade, I dare you. Think you have it inside of you. Go ahead, use Psycho Cut on me. It won’t matter what you do in the long run.” Mrs. Beltran then walked into the kitchen and saw the dramatic scene. She gasped and dropped the “Twilight” book she had been reading.
Mrs. Beltran: “What are you boys doing?!” Gallade and Lucas instantly panicked.
Lucas: “Mom!”
Gallade: “Gallade Gallade! Lade Gallade Gal!”
AJ: “Gallade is trying to tell us something.”

Mrs Beltran: “This is no way to treat a guest. I want all pokemon called back into their pokeballs or whatever you kids are using.” Gallade was still holding Xero against the wall and its right arm blade was still glowing blue. It looked at Lucas, then at his mother, then back to Xero.
Lucas: “Gallade, please, let Xero go.”
Gallade: “Gaaaalllll…… lade.” Gallade sighed as it let Xero down. Lucas then held out his PRi and recalled Gallade, Spiny, and Machop back into its database.
Xero: “Gallade tried to use Psycho Cut on a human. Too bad it’s not very effective.” Then Xero heard AJ click something on his cell phone. He looked over and saw him slip the phone into his pocket.

AJ: “Something wrong?”
Xero: “What did you do?”
AJ: “Nothing.”
Xero: “You did something, and you’re going to tell me or else.”
Mrs. Beltran: “OK, you’re are starting to give me the willies. Please be polite or leave.” Xero decided to show his true nature and called out one of his pokemon with his PRi.

Xero: “Dusknoir, use Gravity!” The lens on the PRi’s top screen flashed and then Dusknoir appeared in the living room. A black aura surrounded it and soon gravity intensified. AJ, Lucas, and their mother found it harded to stand up. One by one, they each collapsed onto the ground and found it difficult to raise an arm.
AJ: “Uh, why isn’t Xero effected?” Xero just stood there with his Dusknoir laughing evilly.
Xero: “Like I said, the two of you are going to do what I say. We’ll going to take down Team Chaos forever.”

AJ (Struggling): “Gr, what… about… Chase and Vik?”
Xero: “I could care less about those idiots. Weather they die or survive this ordeal is completely up to them.” With Gravity attack in effect AJ and Lucas found it impossible to move. AJ was more worried about his mother then his brother since she had nothing to do with all this. Lucas laid there pinned down to the wooden floor by invisible forces, wondering why he didn’t let Gallade finish him off.

Meanwhile Brad, a friend of Vik and a Pokemon Player who organized a Team Rocket fan club, received a text message from AJ. The message read “Goldeen needs log.”
Brad: “A FireRed/Leafgreen password. This could mean trouble.” He stroke his goatee with his fingers as he came up with a plan to help his friends Vik, Chase, and AJ.

Chapter 12: Death Defying Battle Chase and Vik make a daring escape from the grips of Team Chaos, but then Espedow appears making the situation much worst with its Mind Control attack.

So why is no one leaving comments? I feel like no one's reading this.

Anyway, I got a preview pic up of Espedow. The Prototype pokemon Xero constantly uses.

I'm still reading it (well, that should be obvious, but whatever). You just haven't made any mistakes that I need to point out recently.
 
Chapter 12

Chapter 12: Death Defying Battle​

An alarm blared throughout the Team Chaos base letting all the grunts know that intruders were on the loose. Vik and Chase headed down a hallway with Vik’s Scizor at their side. Soon a dark shadow appeared on the floor before them and then Darkrai emerged from the black blob. It then dimmed all the lights in the hallway.
Chase: “Dark Void. That is so last adventure.” :wink:
Vik: “Don’t worry. We’re ready this time.” Scizor revealed to be holding a Lum Berry in its claw. When Darkrai trapped Scizor in a bubble of darkness Scizor ate the Lum Berry. The Lum Berry then neutralized the effects of Darkrai’s attack.

Vik: “Now use X-Scissor!” The edges of Scizors claws glowed with a lime-green hue. Then it sliced Darkrai with both claws crossing in the “X” pattern as portrayed in the battle animation from the games. Darkrai’s health showed on Vik’s PRi and was taken out in one shot.
Chase: “Great job. Now let’s get out of here.”
Vik: “Finished getting a Celebi yet.” Chase finished a setting on his PRi and was saving his Diamond game before switching over to the Pokemon Realization mode.

Chase: “I am now. Celebi, time to time travel!” Chase held out his PRi with the top screen opened at a 90 degree angle. The lens never lit up and Celebi never appeared.
Vik: “Did you hit “Realize” on your PRi’s touch screen?” Chase inspected his PRi’s screens.
Chase: “What’s this? ‘Unable to Realize Pokemon?’ What does that mean?”
Vik: “We can’t time travel?!”

TC Grunt: “There they are!” Chase and Vik looked down the hallway and saw two Grunts headed their way with PRi’s in their hands.
Vik: “Get ready Scizor!”
Scizor: “Scizor!” Scizor struck a pose with its left claw sticking out to intimidate the oncoming Grunts. Then suddenly it happened.
Scizor: “Zor?” Suddenly Scizor was alert about something, and began breathing heavily. “Sciiii…. Z-zor….”

Chase: “What’s wrong with Scizor?” Vik checked his PRi and nothing appeared wrong on Scizor’s status screen.
Vik: “Scizor, are you ok?” Scizor then began rubbing its head with its claws. The two TC Grunts were now near and released their pokemon.
TC Grunt: “Absol, go!”
TC Grunt #2: “I choose Marowak!” Absol and Marowak appeared right between the Grunts and Chase and Vik. Chase got his pokemon ready as well.
Chase: “OK, Torterra, let’s get ‘em!” Chase’s underestimated how big Torterra was in real life. When his Torterra was digitized out of his game it took up almost the entire width of the hallway, squeezing Chase between its shell and the wall, with his stomach and ribs taking most of the pain.

Chase: “Ow, big mistake.” Luckily Vik and Scizor had enough distance between Chase and his Torterra.
Vik: “Scizor, get ready for battle.” Scizor was still struggling with whatever was bothering it earlier. Finally it gave in. Vik Looked at his pokemon then its eyes were glowing bright red.
Scizor: “Scizor. Sci!” Scizor flew into action, but it used X-Scissor on the wrong pokemon: Chase’s Torterra! Chase had just squeezed out of the tight space between the wall and Torterra’s shell before the attack hit.
Chase: “Vik, have you lost it?”

Vik: “Dude, something’s wrong with Scizor, but the status screen doesn’t say it’s confused.” Then without warning, Espedow teleported into the hallway where the battle was taking place.
Chase: “It’s that pokemon again! It did something to Chatot so I bet it’s doing the same thing to Scizor.”
Espedow (telepathically): Scizor is ours now. Xero has you doomed.
Chase: “Wanna bet? Torterra, Earthquake attack now!” Torterra got up on its hind legs and then slammed its forelegs and body onto the ground sending a huge shockwave throughout the building. Absol and Marowak took the full force of the Earthquake and Scizor took minimal damage. Espedow also felt the quake’s force.

Vik: “Scizor, return!” Vik tried to recall his Scizor into his PRi, but Espedow interfered by firing a Dark Pulse attack to intercept and cancel out the retractor beam that recalls pokemon.
Espedow: Xero is in control… of everything. Scizor, X-Scissor!”
Chase: “You’re a pokemon, not a trainer!”
Espedow: I’m BOTH!

Back in the present, AJ and Lucas had their own problem, and wit Xero himself. He had his Dusknoir using Gravity attack and the two brothers found themselves helpless.
Lucas: “Xero, you’ll be sorry!”
AJ: “What the heck do you want with us?”
Xero: “I just want one simple request, come with me for an assault on Team Chaos. Then I shall leave you and your family alone. You have my word.” Dusknoir’s body glowed dark purple and its hands pointed out toward AJ and Lucas, showing that it was concentrating the Gravity attack toward them and pinning them down. Lucas found it difficult to lift his head up just a few inches off the ground so he could face Xero. They also heard a metallic clang and banging noises as something hit the ground. Gravity was causing the house to fall apart.

Lucas: “I don’t trust you! You’ve already threatened us and wanted to kill my pokemon.” Xero just grinned once again.
AJ: “We’ll help! Just call of your pokemon before the house collapses in on us.”
Xero: “Alright. Dusknoir, let off on the Gravity.” Dusknoir stopped glowing dark purple and the whole room seemed to have taken a deep sigh of relief. AJ looked to his right from where he heard the noises earlier. Turns out several dumb bells from his father’s dumb bell set became too heavy from the intensified gravity and fell off their resting places. The 10 and 15 pound dumb bells were dug a couple inches into the carpet. The blinds covering the windows were also pulled down and stretched out. He knew his mom wouldn’t like the looks of this.

AJ: “You owe for all the trouble you’re causing.” Xero had his PRi out and recalled his Dusknoir.
Xero: “I don’t owe you a thing. Now Celebi, it’s show time!” Xero’s PRi flashed, Celebi’s silhouette appeared in light form. Then Celebi itself emerged from the light and flew around the kitchen and living room.
Lucas: “Celebi’s a legendary. Why can you use it?”
Xero: “PRi’s can be reprogrammed. I adjusted mine to help me summon Celebi, but I require more…”

Xero paused for a moment to search for the right word. “… ‘adjustments’ to call out my other legendary pokemon. Now Celebi, let us jump sixty years into the future. Take us to where Chase, Vik, Shade, Jason, and Gwen are.” Celebi flew up to the three of them and nodded. It closed its eyes and concentrated for a moment. Finally it opened a portal to the future right outside of the back sliding door and flew into it. Xero quickly slide the glass door opened to the back yard and followed. AJ and Lucas looked back to their wrecked living room.
AJ: “Mom if you can hear us, we’ll be right back.”

Lucas: “I didn’t make the mess, so I don’t have to clean it!” AJ nudged Lucas on his shoulder for making that comment. Lucas just snickered then they both went into the portal and into the future. Mrs. Beltran got up from the floor since she too was affected from the Gravity attack and gained a huge headache.
Mrs. Beltran: “Boys, be careful.” She then looked up as the portal began to fade away. She saw two large shadows of bird pokemon. They were approaching the house at mach speed.

Back at the base, within a hallway connecting an entrance to the main reception room a battle raged on. Vik’s Scizor was under Espedow's Mind Control attack and Chase was on his own against two Team Chaos Grunts.
Chase: “Torterra, use Wood Hammer on Marowak.”
TC Grunt #2: “Marowak, Fire Punch!” Torterra’s head glowed with green and then it smashed its head right onto Marowak’s fist that was ignited with flames. Both pokemon then yelled in pained after taking super effective hits, but Marowak went down first.

TC Grunt #1: “You idiot. Why didn’t you EV train that thing in Defense?”
TC Grunt #2: “Shut up, at least it’s one on one now, and that Torterra’s a goner. Marowak, return.” Marowak was called back into a PRi while Chase was trying to think what he should do. On the PRi’s status screen it showed that Torterra’s HP bar was red due to recoil damage from Wood Hammer. Then Scizor jumped up from behind.
Vik: “Chase, behind you!”
Espedow (telepathicall): X-Scizor! Ha ha ha. Both of Scizor’s claws were glowing with a light green hue again. Chase ran out of the way and then hit the “recall” button the PRi’s touch screen.

Chase: “Torterra, return!” Scizor’s X-Scissor attack missed its target.
Vik: “Scizor, snap out of it and use X-scissor on Espedow or Absol for a change!” Scizor looked right at Vik, and then charged right at its trainer with a Quick Attack! Scizor’s body slammed against Vik from his side.
Chase: “No! Vik!” Vik was knocked back a fair distance and then slide across the floor from Quick Attack’s force. He then slowly got back up on his feet.
Vik: “I’m ok, but Chase you gotta do something about Espedow.” Chase nodded and once again released a pokemon from his PRi.

Chase: “It’s your turn Manectric! Use Discharge!” Chase’s Manectric appeared from the flash of light from his PRi. Then Manectric began to loosen electricity from its body.
Vik: “Chase wait!” It was too late as Manectric unleased a powerfull surge of electricity which hit everyone, including Chase and the Team Chaos Grunt. Luckily Vik was knocked out of range and barely felt an electric spark. However his Scizor was hit and his PRi showed Scizor’s health at about 1/3 of its full HP. Absol felt the full power of the attack and after taking an Earthquake attack earlier it fainted.
TC Grunt #2: “Time to retreat and let Jason handle them.”
TC Grunt #1: “Yeah. Absol, return!” The TC Grunts recalled Absol and made a run for it.

Vik: “Good riddance. Chase are you alright?” Chase brought up his PRi and began having it scan Espedow since it was also hit from the Discharge attack.
Chase: “I think my heart just stopped. Other then that I’m fine.” Chase was still breathing heavily since running away from Team Chaos and taking an electric attack wore him out. Electrical crackled through Espedow’s body. Chase wondered if it was Paralyzed.

Vik: “Scizor, you alright?” Scizor was just standing still gripping its head with its claws and trying to get its thoughts together. Meanwhile Chase checked Espedow’s status on his PRi. It was paralyzed and lost more then half its HP.
Chase: “Vik, I paralyzed Espedow. Scizor should have an easier time breaking free from its control.” Espedow had both of its half circle eyes shut tight, but then it snickered and then opened its eyes and stared right at Manectric.
Manectric: “Mane? Mane!” Manectric then suddenly howled in pain. Chase then checked his PRi.

Espedow’s SYNCHRONIZE Paralyzed Manectric. It maybe unable to move!

That message displayed on Chase’s PRi alarmed him a bit.
Chase: “So it has Synchronize Ability. That explains how it communicates with us telepathically.”
Espedow: Synchronize isn’t all I do. Espedow’s body began glowing pink for a moment. Then Chase his PRi screen a second time. The PRZ sign for Paralysis above Espedow’s HP bar vanished.

Espedow’s LIMBER prevents Paralysis.

Chase: “What? You were paralyzed otherewise you couldn’t use Synchronize in the first place.”
Vik: “Xero must have hacked Espedow. But how does it change Abilitities?”
Chase: “I don’t know. You tell me.” Espedow then charged up a Dark Pulse by putting its two hands together similar to how a Lucario formed an Aura Sphere attack.
Chase: “Manectric, use Thunder Bolt!” Manectric was too paralyzed to attack. It just struggled where it stood.
Vik: “Your turn Scizor. You know what to do!”

Jason: “Porygon-Z, use Zap Cannon!” Chase and Vik were caught off guard. A ball of electricity hit Scizor thus Paralyzing it while bring its health down to a mere 4HP on Vik’s screen.
Chase: “Jason! If you wanted a battle why not approach us and challenge us?”
Jason: “Because you’re in my base. Now get out of my way as I take care of Xero’s pokemon. This is revenge for stealing file X-G5.”
Espedow: Try as you might. You’re a born failure Jason.
Jason: “Allow me to prove you wrong! Porygon-Z, Signal Beam!”

Espedow: I’ll deal with you later. Master Xero needs me. It then used Teleport to escape and dodge the Signal Beam.
Jason: “Well if I can’t have Espedow and Xero I’ll settle for the two responisble for messing up my last mission. Porygon-Z, use Tri Attack!”
Chase: “Come on Manectric!”
Vik: “You can do it Scizor!” Both of their Pokemon were too tired and too paralyzed to battle. Porygon-Z then formed three spheres, a red one, a blue one, and a yellow one, and was ready to fire them at will.

Lucas: “Machop, Dynamic Punch!” Seemingly out of nowhere, Lucas’s Machop rushed to the rescue with its fist glowing white. There was an explosion of energy as Dynamic Punch hit its target.
Chase & Vik: “Machop?”
Lucas: “Smojinn, cover us with a Smoke Screen!” Lucas then called out his own Prototype pokemon and then the purple and black genie pokemon appeared. The smoke near the base of its body then expanded and blacked out the hallway. Even Chase and Vik found it hard to see and became confused at the madness at what was going on.

AJ: “Grab them, Salamance!” AJ and Lucas flew in on Salamance’s back. Salamance then grabbed Vik and AJ with its claws. Scizor, Manectric, and Machop then quickly followed.
Chase: “AJ! Boy am I glad to see you.”
Vik: “Yeah thanks man.”
Lucas: “Hey what about me?”
Chase: “Thanks to you and Machop too Lucas. What was that pokemon.”
Lucas: “Gwen helped me capture that Genie Pokemon. It’s a Ghost and Fire type.”
Vik: “That’s tight.” An alarm then blared throughout the base. Red lights illuminated the halls and they flashed on and off.

Computer: “INTRUDER WARNING! LEVEL 5! ALL PERSONELTO SECTOR 3 IMMEDIATLY!” The computer continued to repeat the warning. Up ahead was a pair of double doors and there was no doubt they were locked.
AJ: “Blast those doors with your Hydro Pump, Salamance!” Salamance fired a jet stream of water from its mouth. The force of the attack blew the doors open for them. Our Heroes then found themselves in a massive room, with a glass roof several stories high above them. All the walls were metallic, unlike the previous areas Chase and Vik have visited in the base. On the west side of the room was a line of tables, with four chairs set for each one. To the north was some kind of huge super computer. The super computer itself was impressive. The monitor was a huge LCD flat screen 66” wide and 42” tall. It looked like at least a hundred of computers were linked together into one. There was one keyboard and mouse, but the tangle of wires underneath didn’t show where they connected to. The was a low hum of fans running to keep the system from overheating.

Lucas: “What is this place?” Lucas’s voice echoed in the empty room.
Commander Serph: “I see you boys discovered our computer for making the PRi’s Technology possible.” Commander Serph came from the same direction the boys flew in. Salamance landed on the ground the four of them dismounted. Smojinn, Manectric, Scizor, and Machop all stood guard for whatever the Commander of Team Chaos could pull off.
AJ: “Who’s this creep?”
Vik: “I’m not sure, but I think he’s the boss of Team Chaos.”

Commander Serph: “You’re mistaken. I’m second in command of Team Chaos.” The Commander then bowed down as if receiving a standing ovation from an audience. He acted like a celebrity being greeted by a large crowd of fans.
AJ: “Second in Command? Maybe Vik thought you said you were the Boss because of that funny English accent of yours.” Commander Serph then ran his fingers through his orange tinted hair. Then pulled out a PRi.
Xero: “Hold it!” Xero flew down on an Aerodactyl and then joined Chase and his friends on the ground. After that he quickly recalled Aerodactyl.

Commander Serph: “Xero! I see you’ve made some new friends.”
Xero: “Commander! Long time no see. All of us will take you and Team Chaos down!”
Commander Serph: “Think again! I’ll show you the power of my Alakazam!” The Commander then released his Alakazam from his PRi. Alakazam then immediately fired a Shadow Ball attack without any orders from Commander Serph on Lucas’s Smojinn.
Lucas: “Smojinn!”
Commander Serph: “Consider that a warning!” Lucas knew it was useless. He held out his PRi toward his fallen pokemon.

Lucas: “Smojinn, return. Machop, you return too.” Lucas had a feeling that Machop would instantly lose to a psychic pokemon. He figured he should play it safe.
Xero: “Ok, let me handle this.”
AJ: “We can handle this without you.”
Xero: “Oh you think so? Team Chaos is stronger then you think. I’ll handle this battle alone while you four look for the Admins.” The Commander just stood there, anticipating what the boys could possibly do.
AJ: “Why do we have to go after the Admins?”
Xero: “Just do it! We had an agreement AJ!”

Vik: “Forget it, I’m showing this Team Chaos bozo a thing or two about pokemon battling! Ready Scizor?” While riding on Salamance earlier, Vik used his PRi to access his Pearl game and give Scizor a Full Restore. Scizor was fully recovered and ready for round 2.
Xero: “Don’t do it!”
Vik: “Use X-Scissor on Alakazam, now!” Scizor leaped into action and jumped high, looked down on Alakazam, and then turned the edges of its claws green.
Xero: “I said ‘DON’T DO IT!’” Xero then did the unexpected. He ran and then stood right in front of Alakazam, now facing Scizor and the Commander with his back toward Vik and the others. Scizor was already diving from mid-air toward it's target and it was too late for it to stop. Scizor’s attacked hit Xero instead of Alakazam!

Scizor: “Z-ZOR?!” Chase and the others gasped as Xero screamed in agony from taking the full force of the X-Scissor attack. Scizor also had a shocked expression on it's own face. Tiny pieces of Xero’s brown cloak and flesh flew out. Scizor’s claws were an inch deep into Xero’s chest. Scizor quickly stopped the attack before the two claws would cross to form the top half of the “X" leaving two deep cuts shaped like mirror imaged slanted lines.
AJ: “Lucas, don’t watch!” AJ covered his brother’s eyes as Scizor removed its claws from Xero's chest. Xero then fell to his knees. As he did this he looked at the Commander, Scizor, and Alakazam and flashed one last sinister grin. Finally he fell flat onto his chest and remained silent after that. Then the Commander activated the communicator on his wrist.
Commander Serph: “This is the commander! Send a Disposal Team to the Central Hub Room immediately. We got a sack of waste here.” AJ and Chase were still shocked at what had just happened. Vik however quickly came back to his senses.

Vik: “Scizor, return!” Scizor still had that shocked expression on its face. It had seen something it was never meant to see. With it's claws already red it was hard to tell if it had any of Xero's blood on them or if recalling Scizor would clean them. The red retractor beam hit Scizor and recalled it. Chase and AJ decided to call back their pokemon too.
Chase & AJ: "Return."
Commander Serph: "Alakazam, we'll live to fight another day." All Pokemon were recalled into their owner's PRi's.
Chase: “Let’s make a run for it.” Just then Gwen and her Gardevoir appeared using Teleport.
Gwen: “Someone called for a clean up crew?”
Commander Serph: “Gwen, capture these fools.” Gwen winked at AJ and Lucas.
Gwen: “Roger Commander. Gardevoir, teleport all of us to the underground prison chamber.” Gardevoir then Teleported the everyone but the Commander and Xero’s body to the prison Chambers. The Commander took one last look at Xero before he left. Although Xero's actions left him puzzled, he decided not to care about it.

Commander Serph: “There you go boss. Xero’s gone like you wanted.”
Espedow (telepathically): Commander... The commander stopped and looked behind him one last time. There was no one there except Xero's fallen body. For a moment it seemed like a Pokemon was watching him, but then whatever presence he sensed vanished. He continued his way out and then disregaurded the haunting voice in his head.

Chapter 13: Distant Relationships: Krystal and her Chatot arrive at the scene with some unexpected allies. However, The Team Chaos Boss is preparing to unleash his Giratina onto our heroes.

I just edited the ending to the previous chapter. The last 4 paragraph are the only ones that changed. I wasn't quite that satisfied with how I ended it before. I like the new and improved ending better. I'll have chapter 13 up within the next couple of weeks.

Chapter 13

OK, this will the half way point of the story. Enjoy!

Chapter 13: Distant Relationships​

Even though Gwen told Commander Serph that she’d take Chase and his friends to the underground prison chamber of the base, that is not where she and her Gardevoir Teleported the group. Instead they were in herown private office of the base. Located on the forth floor of the base and had its own kitchen and dormitory.
Gwen: “Well are we all ok?” The four boys were still trying to recover from the trauma of what had happened just a few minutes ago.
Chase: “I’ll be ok once my heart rate goes back to normal.”
AJ: “Of all the things Xero’s done, that is by far the freakiest. I don’t think he could get any freakier.”
Lucas: “Well the best part is, Vik killed him!” Vik then jumped out of anxiety.

Vik: “Wait a second. Scizor and I - he - uh... I didn't do anything.” Gwen pulled out a chair from the table in the center of her office and gestured for the four boys to sit down. One by one the four of the sat down as Gwen offered one liter soda bottles to everyone. Chase and AJ accepted Coke, Lucas had a Sierra Mist, and Vik took a Mountain Dew. Gwen sat down with a Lemon Iced Tea bottle.
Gwen: “What happened in the past couple hours? Xero went with you two and then what?” Gwen was talking to the Beltran brothers. Lucas was gulping down his Sierra Mist and nudged AJ, signaling him to speak.
AJ: “It was no friendly visit. He attacked us with a Dusknoir after he ate.” Lucas burped a couple times and then wiped the soda off his lips with his sleeve.
Lucas: “He was such a jerk. He threw a blue stone at Kirlia and forced it to evolve just so it couldn’t use Synchronize to talk to me anymore.”

AJ: “You mean a Dawn Stone.”
Lucas: “Whatever. I don’t play Diamond or Pearl.”
AJ: “The weirdest part was after Kirlia evolved into Gallade. It pinned Xero to the wall and then tried to use Psycho Cut on him directly.”
Gwen: “WHAT?! Gardevoir, you’re related to Gallade. Any idea why?” Gardevoir looked at Gwen and then shook its head.
Lucas: “What do you mean? How are your Gardevoir and my Gallade related?” Gwen’s eyes widened for a second but then she was instantly calm when Chase spoke immediately afterward.
Chase: “Gardevoir and Gallade are from the same evolutionary family Lucas. Gallade is the male version of a Gardevoir.”

Gwen: “Exactly. Sometimes Pokemon of the same evolutionary family can… connect with one another easily.” Lucas became skeptical of Gwen. He wondered if she was hiding anything from the group again. Then he thought about what had just happened a few moments ago. He looked over to Vik who was drinking his Coke.
Lucas: “Congratulations Vik. You saved the world by killing Xero!” Vik did a spit take and squirted coke all over the table. Then he coughed for a couple seconds.
Vik: “What? Scizor and I didn’t kill him?” There was an awkward silence. “Did we?”
Gwen: “Security tapes have shown Scizor’s claws going in at least one inch deep into his chest. That’s a lethal blow alright.”
Chase: “Hm, that’s deep enough to shatter ribs, and potentially tear a lung.”

AJ: “How do you know?”
Chase: “I’m taking Anatomy and Physiology as one of my electives, remember?”
AJ: “Oh yeah. Well Vik I owe ya for killing off Xero.” Vik shook his head.
Vik: “Scizor and I didn’t kill him. He committed suicide.” Vik didn’t want any responsibility for the death of their enemy.
Chase: “It’s strange. I thought he wanted to take down Team Chaos. Why did he protect Commander Serph?”
Gwen: “Probably because he was trying to warn you. On the security tapes, he asked you boys to listen to his plan. Probably because he knew that the Commander’s pokemon have perfect stats. You know, 999 in each stat.”
Chase: “What? The Commander hacks his Pokemon? What a cheap-“

Gwen: “I didn’t finish talking Chase. Anyway, there seems to be a strange relationship with Xero, the Commander, and our Boss. The only person who may know what the three of them have to do with each other is Jason since he’s Commander Serph’s son.”
Chase: “Regaurdless, Xero’s out of the picture maybe we can all go home and forget this mess ever happened.” He took a sip from his Coke bottle. Gwen then banged a fist on the table and then stood up.
Gwen: “No! We are all finishing what Xero started!” Now it was Chase’s turn to spit and squirt Coke onto the table.
Lucas: “Are you crazy?! Maybe you’re the one who has something to do with Xero.”

Gwen: “Believe me, I prefer Xero dead instead of trying to destroy Team Chaos in his own bizarre way. The reason why I said that was because he and I share the same goal. We both want to take down Team Chaos.” Just then her cell phone rang. She reached into her pocket and pulled out blue tooth device. After pressing the only button on it she stuck it in her left ear.
Shade (over phone): “Finish locking up the prisoners and get over here to the Security Point B. We have a problem.”
Gwen: “OK Shade. I’ll be there in a jiffy.” Chase and the others wondered what was going on. “Sorry guys, but I can’t have you interfere. Gardevoir Teleport.” First Gwen, Vik, and Chase disappeared along with Gardevoir.
Lucas: “Where’d they go?”

AJ: “I don’t know but if Gwen’s really on our side I’m sure she knows what she’s doing.” The Prison Chamber was located two levels underground. Even further underground was the main Pokemon Data Storage Office where Xero and his Grimer had stolen File X-G5 earlier. Gwen, Gardevoir, Chase, and Vik were Teleported into one of the jail cells.
Chase: “What’s the big idea Gwen?”
Gwen: “You and your friends cannot interfere. Use this room to rest and relax for a bit while I deal with Shade.” Vik and Chase inspected their room, or rather prison cell. Instead of traditional jail bars they were blocked off by a sheet of what seemed like tough, clear plastic with tiny air holes. There was air vent above them, but that was too high out of their reach. The air vent was also in the center of the ceiling, with four bright light bulbs making the ceiling symmetrical. Chase banged on the plastic wall blocking them.

Gwen: “Thermo-Risen.” Chase and Vik looked puzzled so Gwen explained what it was. “It’s a tough material that’s tempered so it withstands extreme temperatures and physical impacts. You two are not going anywhere until I return. Gardevoir, lets go.” Gwen and her Gardevoir disappeared leaving Vik and Chase behind. Then Vik stomped his foot on the metallic floor which made a clang sound echo through the underground hallway.
Vik: “I hate it when she does this to us.”
Chase: “She had a point though. We haven’t had a break all day. From back at Abiqua Springs up to now.” Chase walked over to the bunk beds which had a thin mattress on each one. He laid on the lower bunk. Back up in Gwen’s office AJ and Lucas met up with Gwen again.
Gwen: “Now it’s your turn boys.” She placed each of her hands on one of the Beltran Brother’s shoulders. Then Gardevoir Teleported them into the prison cell next to Vik and Chase.

Lucas: “Are you really putting us in Prison?”
Gwen: “Only temporarily.” She then hugged AJ for a moment.
AJ: “What’s this for?”
Gwen: “I just want the two of you to take care of yourselves.” She then turned toward Lucas and hugged him.
Lucas: “You don’t really have to hug us?”
Chase & Vik: “What is she doing?!” They could hear everything Gwen, Lucas, and AJ were saying.
Gwen: “We’re more then friends now, aren’t we? After all, I’d hate it if Team Chaos did anything to you.” She let go of her embrace and then signaled to her Gardevoir. Gardevoir then closed its eyes and used its Trace Abililty to detect Shade’s location in the base. Once it locked onto Shade’s location it used Teleport to take Gwen and itself there.
Lucas: “This adventure keeps getting weirder and weirder.”
Chase: “I’ll say. I wonder why you two got hugged by a Gwen.”
AJ: “Aw, Chase, you jealous bro?”
Vik: “I can hug you if you want.” Vik gave a double wink at Chase and then Chase shook his head.
Chase: “Not funny.”

Security Point B was one of three security surveillance rooms within the Team Chaos Base. Shade was in there with Team Chaos’ chief of security, Austin. Austin was one of the older members on Team Chaos. He spiked up his brown hair with hair gel, he had a blue tooth sticking out of his left ear, and a teaser in its holder on his belt. His brown eyes stared at security monitors that showed him two intruders breaking into a vault and stealing PRi’s.
Austin: “The nerve of those two. Who do they think they are?”
Shade: “The bigger guy with a goatee looks familiar to me for some reason.” At that moment Gwen showed up with her Gardevoir by using Teleport. After that she recalled her Gardevoir into her PRi.
Gwen: “What’s the problem this time?”

Shade: “Intruders. They’ve been here for the past 10 minutes. Somehow they’ve disabled our security, snuck into the base, and now they’re stealing PRi’s. Gwen took a look at the monitors and two young people, one male and one female. The male figure wore a bandana as a hat with a knot sticking out of the back. The female figure had long, dark hair, wore a pair of eye glasses, and was skinny. They both somehow obtained Team Chaos Grunt uniforms but it was obvious they weren’t working for Team Chaos. The girl then jumped for joy after plugging her Diamond game into a PRi and then greeted the male figure with a hug and kiss.
Gwen: “I wonder how they managed to get in.” Just then Austin’s cell phone beeped. He pressed the button on his blue tooth.

Austin: “Security office.” There was a short pause, then Austin’s eyes widened and he suddenly seemed shocked. “What?! When did you find out?”
Shade: “Great, more bad news.” Austin then turned his blue tooth off and then turned to face Gwen and Shade.
Austin: “Xero’s body has disappeared!”
Shade & Gwen: “What?!”
Austin: “Here’s the deal, the six security camera’s were hacked by a Porygon-Z. Then we can see a black and purple pokemon teleport away and that’s about it. The strange pokemon only shows on video tape for half a second, so no one knows what happens. The more puzzling thing is that the room’s clean. No pieces of cloth, flesh, not even a drop of blood. The Disposal Team can’t find anything.”

Shade: “I’ll take care of the intruders. Gwen can look for Xero’s prototype Pokemon since her Gardevoir can track it with Trace Ability.” Shade began to walk out of the security room when Gwen quickly followed him. Austin took his seat again in the security room and began typing something on his computer.
Gwen: “Shade, wait.”
Shade: “We don’t have time to wait. There’s a renegade on the loose.”
Gwen: “I’m getting a bad feeling about this. What if Xero somehow set us up for a trap?”
Shade: “The bozo is dead now. All I care about is capturing that prototype pokemon and dealing with the PRi thieves.” Gwen then took Shade’s hand, and then looked him in the eyes.

Gwen: “Shade, we’ve been Admins together for a year now. You’re the only person I care about here in Team Chaos. I couldn’t stand it if I lost you too.” Shade’s grey eyes widened for a moment. On the other hand, he felt like compassion was something that would slow him down. He yanked his hand away from Gwen’s grip.
Shade: “Save the hugs and kisses for later.”
Gwen: “Matthew! Listen to me.”
Shade: “Matthew is not my name anymore! There is no Matthew! Team Chaos gave me a new life. I am, and will always be Shade, one of Team Chaos’ top Admins!” He then took a nearby elevator and headed down. Gwen stood there for a brief moment and then reached for her PRi.

Gwen: “Oh Matthew, when will you understand?”
Austin: “Gwen!” She then snapped out of her sadness and then headed back toward the security room.
Gwen: “Yes Austin?”
Austin: “Did you forget to take those PRi’s away from our special guests in the Prison Chamber?” Gwen looked the security monitor on the far left. There she saw Lucas and his Gallade. Austin then pressed a button and the audio came on.
Lucas (on TV): “OK Gallade, take us to where the excitement is.” Then Lucas, AJ, Chase, and Vik all disappeared. Gwen wondered where they were going.
Gwen: "Did you see anything happen while we were talking amoung themselves?"
Austin: “No.” He then opened the mini fridge and opened a can of beer. Gwen wondered why the Team Chaos boss would but an alcoholic in charge of security at the main base. On the other hand, that worked to her favor if she wanted to finish her mission to put an end to Team Chaos.
Gwen: “I’ll find them. Leave it to me and my Gardevoir.”

Chase and his friends were back in the Battle Simulator room. The place seemed a lot bigger now that they were the only ones in there. Although the portraits of the four Team Chaos admins, Commander Serph, and the Boss seemed to be watching them.
Vik: “Brad and Amy have to be around somewhere.”
Chase: “Can’t believe you got a Picto Chat message from Brad. He actually followed us and Team Chaos into the future.”
Vik: “You know Brad. He’s always full of surprises. In his message he said he stole the PRi he was using and got a grunt to explain all of the PRi’s feature. That’s how he figured out to send picto chat messages as an email.”

AJ: “Jason sure knows how to invent a handy device. I gotta admit he’s a genius alright.” Gallade and Lucas looked out the window. It was night time already and he wondered it they would return home soon. Gwen then showed up in the Battle Simulator room by herself.
Gwen: “Why am I not surprised you boys came here?”
Vik: “There’s no way we’re staying in those prison cells.”
Gwen: “Well then if you’re going to get involved, at least help me. Xero’s body has vanished.” The four boys were then shocked.
Chase: “You’re kidding me. I thought he was dead.”
Gwen: “It’s Espedow. Xero never recalled it back into his PRi. We can’t capture it since it was never released either. So we have a big problem on our hands. Oh, and Shade’s going after a guy with a goatee and a thin girl with eye glasses.”

Vik: “That’s Amy and Brad. We gotta help them.”
Chase: “Yeah, let’s go!”
Gwen: “Wait – oh!” Gwen tripped on her untied shoe lace. When she fell her wallet slipped out of her back pocket. Gallade saw it and picked it up with confusion and brought it to Lucas who was standing a fair distance from the rest of the group.
Lucas: “What is this Gallade?” Lucas then saw it was Gwen’s wallet and then his curiosity took over. He opened Gwen wallet and took a look inside. Meanwhile Gwen got up and dusted herself.
Gwen: “Ok, follow me.” Lucas was still looking and Gwen’s California Driver’s License when he saw something interesting. Then he noticed the group was taking off.
Lucas: “Hey guys wait, you need to see this.” Lucas ran but only AJ slowed down and saw Lucas waving the wallet around.
AJ: “What you got there sport?” Lucas shoved Gwen’s driver’s license into his brother’s face. There it was right in front of them, why she seemed to care so much about them. The name on the driver’s license read BELTRAN, GWENYTH M. She shared the same last name.
Lucas: “You don’t think she related to us, do you?”

AJ: “I don’t know. Let’s figure that out later. Come on, we’re falling behind.” AJ took the wallet from Lucas aas they about to run after their friends. Just then they heard a familiar high pitch squawking voice.
Chatot: “Figure what out later?” Near the entrance to the battle simulator room to the outside was Krystal and her Chatot.
AJ: “Cool it’s Krystal.”
Lucas: “Oh no, it’s Chatot!” Chatot then flew toward AJ and Lucas.
Chatot: “On no, it’s bogus.”
Lucas: “My name is Lucas”
Chatot: “It’s bogus.”
Lucas: “Man you’re annoying!”
Chatot: “Chatot not annoying. Bogus Lucas is annoying. Chatot is lovable!”
AJ: “Shut up you two. Now why are you and Krystal here?”
Chatot: “Find out on next chapter! Next chapter!”
Lucas: “Quit breaking the forth wall. That’s my job!” AJ sighed, and then signaled his brother to follow him as they ran after Chase, Gwen, and Vik. Gallade quickly followed with Krystal and Chatot. Still, Lucas couldn’t get something out of his head. Somehow he knew for sure that Gwen was really their future relative.

Chapter 14

I found this chapter getting longer and longer so I had to create a new chapter and split them. This is more or less "Part 1" of the Giratina plot of the story.

Chapter 14: Xero’s War Game

Mrs. Beltran picked herself off the wooden kitchen floor after hearing Lucas shouting that the mess wasn’t his fault. After feeling the effects of Dusknoir’s Gravity attack on body she began to feel like a hippo. She saw a flashing portal outside the glass sliding door leading to the back yard. She slowly walked over to the back door but didn’t dare to leave the house.
Mrs. Beltran: “AJ, Lucas, please be careful.” The portal began to shrink and disappear.

Suddenly a giant shadow flew across the back yard lawn. A second shadow followed it. Mrs. Beltran looked up and brushed a strand of brown hair away from her left eye. A metallic grey bird with the underside of its wings colored red was closing in on the house. The second bird looked like an eagle with red tail featers, cream colored features on its underside, brown wings, and long captivating head features. She recognized the Pidgeot since it used to be AJ’s favorite pokemon and talked about it often. She even remember the Pidgeot card AJ was happy to get when he was younger.

Brad: “Hurry, that time portal’s closing!” Brad was shouting to his girlfriend Amy. Brad was literally a big guy due to his love of fast food, particularly Taco Bell. He grew a goatee since Amy thought it looked attractive. A black bandana with a distorted “R” was tied onto his head to use as a hat. He rode on his Skarmory.

Amy: “We can make it if we both use Agility!” Amy pushed her eye glasses upward to the bridge of her nose as they slipped. Brad had once asked her to get contact lenses so he could see her brown eyes more clearly but her insurance wouldn’t cover it. She grew out her black hair two feet long and refused to cut it. What made her stand out the most is that her Team Rocket cosplay outfit had a pink “R” instead of the tradition red one.
Brad: “Alright Skarmory here we go!”

Amy: “Let’s do it for Vik and the others.”
Brad & Amy: “Use Agility! Full speed ahead!” From far below, Mrs. Beltran could tell they were speeding up. She quickly jumped out to the back yard and ducked out of their way. She could feel a gushing breeze as each bird pokemon flew by. Brad had to bend his arms and head inward to make it through the portal.

Brad: “Hi AJ’s mom.”
Amy: “Sorry to fly by like this.” They made it with just seconds to spare. It was extremely bright as they flew through the portal Xero’s Celebi left behind. They made it, and now they were on their way to assist Vik and the others.

High above the Earth, in a Space Station orbiting it at over 3000mph, was the Team Chaos Boss. He stood in his private quarters smoking another cigar. His office was small enough to be a closet, but it housed a desk, a mini fridge, a lamp, laptop with webcam, and a bookshelf. He sat down in an office chair and let the smoke from the tip of his cigar swirl around his grey hair. The doorbell for his office went off.
TC Boss: “Come in.” A researcher wearing a white lab coat walked in. She carried a miniature laptop in her left arm and used her free hand to slide the metallic door opened and closed. She then saluted the Boss.

Researcher: “Sir, we have a report from the Earth Base. It appears Xero has been hit by a Scizor and took a lethal blow. Commander Serph believes him to be dead.”
TC Boss: “What did you say?” The TC Boss got up and then looked out the floor to ceiling window of his office back down to the Planet Earth. From where they currently were on their orbit he could see the North and South American Continents. “Xero’s… gone?”
Researcher: “It sure looks that way. Should I tell the R&D Team to cancel our project on Giratina?” There was a short silence that befell the room. She waited patiently for the Boss to speak again.

TC Boss: “What is Giratina’s current status?” He looked at the researcher. She was looking up something on her miniature laptop and when she was finished she set it down on the desk for him to see.
Researcher: “Giratina has absorbed enough energy to sustain it’s Origin Form. We can send it out whenever you’re ready. Bio readings are stable and unchanged.” On the laptop screen it showed a 3D model of Giratina in its Origin Form. Then there were 6 bars showing it’s stats from HP to Speed, all of them at 999. On the lower left side of the screen was a module showing its life force status. There showed its EKG readings and Brain Wave Activity.
TC Boss: “Excellent. Well done. You’re R&D Team will receive a nice bonus. Now get started on our Arceus Project.” The Researcher gasped.

Researcher: “But sir, Arceus would at least ten times for energy then Giratina. Do we really have the capacity for that?”
TC Boss: “Leave that up to Jason and Commander Serph. In the meantime, I’ll use Giratina to deal with those nasty little intruders Xero brought with him.”
Researcher: “Commander Serph asked if you’d like Xero’s body cremated.”
TC Boss: “Obliterate every single cell in Xero’s body by any means necessary. I don’t want to see that back stabbing scum bag ever again! As for Giratina, prepare to send it to our Earth base.” The Researcher grabber her small laptop and then saluted the Boss once more.
Researcher: “Yes sir.”

Back on Earth Gwen was rushing through the main hallway toward the vault on the ground floor. That’s were Amy and Brad decided to steal a few PRi’s. Following her were Chase, Vik, AJ, Lucas, and Lucas’s Gallade. They soon came to a set of Double Doors on their right. A key pad nest to the left door required a code to be punched in.
Gwen: “Let’s see. 6-4-3-9-7.” The red light on the key pad flashed a couple times. She entered the wrong code.

Chase: “Gwen, what’s going on here?”
Gwen: “I don’t know. The pass code has been changed.” Suddenly Vik’s and Chase’s PRi’s flashed and the two Porygon-Z Xero had given them emerged.
Gwen: “Vik, Chase, do these Porygon-Z belong to the two of you?”
Vik: “That psycho Xero programmed the Porygon-Z into our PRi’s.”

Gwen: “Xero probably changed the pass code and then programmed these two Porygon-Z to hack the system.” One Porygon-Z fired a Zap Cannon Attack at the key pad. The light green ball of electricity fried the key pad leaving damaged wires and circuitry behind. Then the both of them glowed light blue and then converted themselves into digital data and entered the security system of the Team Chaos Base. It took about thirty seconds for the double doors to swing open.

Gwen: “For once, Xero actually helped us. Let’s go boys.” Krystal and her Chatot caught up to the group. Chatot flew to Gwen shoulder.
Chatot: “Doesn’t Gwen know it would’ve been easier to Teleport with Gardevoir or Gallade.” Gwen slapped her forehead with her palm.
Gwen: “Hard to think on my feet in situations like this. Did you and Krystal bring the files I asked for?” Krystal held up a Flash Drive in her hand.

Chatot: “We brought it.” Then suddenly a stream of Dark Pulse shot out and knocked the flash drive out of Krystal’s hand. Everyone looked at the direction from where the attack came from and there was Xero’s Espedow and Dusknoir.
Chase & Vik: “Espedow!”
Lucas & AJ: “Dusknoir!”

Lucas: “Gallade, Psycho Cut attack! Get ‘em!” Gallade extended its blade arms as they began glowing blue. Then it fired two blades of blue Psychic energy at Dusknoir, but Espedow leaped out and absorbed the attack. Krystal made a few words in sign language.
Chatot: “No good. Espedow is part Dark Type. Lucas sucks at battling!”
Lucas: “Why you little bird brain! I’m trying! Gallade, use Psycho Cut on Chatot!” Gallade had a shocked expression on its face. It didn’t really want to attack Chatot.

Gwen: “We’re wasting time. Krystal, you get back that flash drive. I’m going to the vault.” Shade came running toward Gwen from the hallway that led to the vault.
Shade: “Gwen! Perfect we got a rendezvous going here.”
Gwen: “Shade, what are you doing?” Shade had already begun activating his PRi.
Shade: “No one is at the vault. Those two on the security cameras have disappeared without a trace. So I guess I can take out my frustration on team hero. I choose Rhyperior! Crush that Espedow!” Rhyperior appeared and gave out a loud roar. Then it ran toward Espedow and Dusknoir.

Espedow (telepathically): We must escape Dusknoir.
Shade: “Hammer Arm!” Rhyperior swung its right arm upward, and then began to slam in down onto Espedow. Dusknoir quickly countered by intercepting the attack and using Protect to shield itself and Espedow who was right behind it.
Vik: “Xero trained his pokemon well.”

Espedow: This was fun, but playtime’s over. Get ready Dusknoir. We’re teleporting. Espedow closed its half circle eyes and then concentrated. It’s tried to teleport but failed.
Chatot: “Ha ha, Teleport’s not working. Espedow is epic fail.”
Espedow: Shut up! Espedow fired a Dark Pulse attack from its two hands and hit Chatot. Chatot was knocked off Krystal’s shoulder and slammed against the wall. Everyone gasped but Lucas got excited.

Lucas: “Why couldn’t you attack Chatot, Gallade?” Gallade just looked at Lucas with a stunned expression then shook its head to show that it didn’t feel like attack Krystal’s interpreter. Shade grunted as he looked toward Espedow and Dusknoir.
Shade: “Rhyperior, Megahorn attack on Espedow!” Rhyperior’s horn glowed with a green hue and it charged toward Espedow. Every step Rhyperior took seemed to make the base shake. Espedow immediately began to glow white as it began to Teleport.

Vik: “Espedow’s about to escape!” Suddenly Espedow’s glowing changed from white to red and then it found it unable to move.
Espedow: What trick is this?
Crobat: “Cro!” Everyone looked up and there was a Crobat with its eyes slightly glowing red. It had used Mean Look and made Espedow’s Teleport useless. Shade’s Rhyperior moved in and rammed its horn on Espedow!

Chase: “Where did that Crobat come from?” The Crobat looked down from where it was hovering and then pulled a 180 degree turn and headed back. Not too far from where the damaged doors to the vault were two figures in black clothing standing. A big young man with a red and black bandana tied to his head and a thing young woman with long black hair. She then held out an MP3 player with a single loud Speaker that was bough at Radio Shack and the “Team Rocket Motto” theme song played. Vik recognized them instantly.

Amy: “Prepare for trouble.” She turned around to face the crowd.
Brad: “Make it double.” He also turned to face the crowd and stroked his goatee.
Amy: “To protect the world from Team Chaos.”
Brad: “To…” He paused for a short moment and then instantly became frustrated. “Hey wait a minute. What rhymes with chaos?” Amy face palmed herself while the Motto Music kept playing on the mini loud speaker.

Amy: “To make up this motto off the top of our heads.”
Brad: “Why couldn’t we stick to the original motto instead?” Amy tilted her eye glasses downward toward the tip of her nose.
Amy: “Amy.” Brad then took the bandana from his head, revealing his short navy buzz cut style hair, and held it out like a flag with the red “R” swaying back and forth.
Brad: “Brad.” They then crossed their arms and revealed the PRi’s that they stole.
Amy: “Team Rocket better then Team Chaos in every way.”
Brad: “Surrender now or behold our fabulous Cosplay.” Chatot then flew inbetween Brad and Amy.

Chatot: “Chatot! That’s right!” Amy and Brad freaked since they didn’t expect a Chatot to be part of their motto. Amy hit stop on her MP3 player as she screamed out of surprise.
Amy: “What’s a Chatot doing here?” Krystal waved and then jerked a thumb toward herself saying that Chatot was hers.
Vik: “Amy! Brad! What took you long?”

Brad: “We needed an upgrade. You didn’t give us PRi’s so we had to steal a couple.”
Shade: “Those belong to Team Chaos and no lame brain Team Rocket rip-offs are going to own them. Rhyperior, Rock Wrecker!”
Brad: “Deoxys, Go!” Brad pressed the “Digitize” button on the touch screen of his PRi but didn’t pay attention to the “unable to realize” message on the screen. Nothing happened but Rhyperior managed to generate a massive boulder from the cannons in its hands.
Amy: “Brad, where’s Deoxys?”

Chase: “PRi’s can’t call out Legendary Pokemon unless their upgraded!”
Gwen: “Chase is correct. You two just got the basic models.”
Amy: “Crobat, use Confuse Ray on Rhyperior!” An eerie purple and green light shined from Crobat’s eyes. Rhyperior lost control and hurt itself by dropping the boulder it created on its head. Dusknoir then leapt up and created a dozen blue fire balls.
Gwen: “Matthew, look out for the Will-O-Wisp attack!” Shade suddenly burst with anger in his voice.
Shade (yelling): “Stop calling me that Gwen!”

AJ: “I think you hit a sore spot.” Dusknoir then waved its arms frontward and the blue fireballs scorched Rhyperior. On Shade’s PRi screen it showed the red BRN symbol to show it was burned and the HP bar slowly started decreasing.
Gwen: “We’ll have to work together to stop Xero’s pokemon.”
Vik: “Brad, Amy, that purple and black pokemon with silver eyes needs to be defeated.” Brad and Amy nodded. Then they both looked at each other.

Brad: “Cover me while I go in on the main attack.”
Amy: “Ok Boss.” She kissed him on his cheek then he tried using his PRi one more time.
Brad: “Slacking, use Giga Impact on the small dark pokemon!” Brad didn’t know Espedow’s name, so he pointed to the target as Slacking emerged from the PRi’s flash of light. Then Slacking did a classic King Kong chest pounding before surrounding itself in an orange and purple aura. All that energy was focused toward Slacking’s right fist as it closed in on Espedow. Espedow then turned around with its eyes glowing red. It was using its Mind Control. Amy’s Crobat flew in with its eyes glowing dark red and then used Confuse Ray on Slacking.

AJ & Gwen: “Oh no.” Slacking’s Giga Impact hit Crobat instead of Espedow and then Slacking gave into Confuse Ray’s effects and thrased about from its confusion. Brad felt like he had failed.
Brad: "Slacking, return!" The red rectractor beam from Brad's PRi recalled his pokemon back into his game.
Amy: “Crobat, return!” Amy held out her PRi and recalled her possessed Crobat. She too felt like she had failed. Espedow then knelt down from being so tired after being hit from the Megahorn attack earlier. Dusknoir then floated toward it.
Espedow: Help me. Use Pain Split. Dusknoir nodded and then slammed a palm on Espedow’s chest. Both Pokemon glowed black for a moment and Espedow regained some health.

Shade: “How is Espedow commanding Dusknoir?”
Espedow: You want to know more about me, huh Shade?
Gwen: “Espedow! Tell me, where did you take Xero’s body?”
Chase: “And what are you planning to do with him?” An evil laugh echoed within everyone’s minds. Espedow kept using it’s Synchronize ability to project its thoughts.
Espedow: Master Xero’s death was indeed unexpected, but his plan will still live on. Prototype Pokemon are key, but the Alpha Pokemon is our true ambition.

Shade: “I don’t care what the plan is. Just surrender and let us dispose of Xero’s body! That traitor got what he deserved.”
Espedow: All will be revealed within time. Master Xero’s plan will move on. Oh, and I’ve hidden his PRi so you won’t be recalling me or Dusknoir anytime soon. And the Porygon-Z’s will be useful to our goal as well. Xero is perfect! I am Perfect! We will desolate Team Chaos at any cost!

Gwen: “I don’t understand. Why go through such extremes?” Dusknoir then opened the mouth on its chest and revealed it was holding Krystal’s Flash Drive. Krystal gave a silent shout but it was no use since she was mute.
Chatot: “Oh no! Ken Sugimori’s data on 5th genereation pokemon.”
Chase: “Give us back that flash drive!” Dusknoir then closed the mouth on its chest and seemingly sealed away the flash drive.

Espedow: Thank you. Now I can upgrade to the form I require to carry out our plan. Xero and I are indeed PERFECT! And thank you for recalling Crobat and ridding me of Mean Look. Amy gasped and then quickly reached for her PRi, but it was too late.
Lucas: “Gallade get them! Use Disable!” Lucas’s Gallade ran forward with its eyes glowing white.
Espedow: Too late! Espedow and Dusknoir Teleported our of the hallway and left everyone there. Amy and Brad looked at Chase and Vik.

Brad: “What the hell was that? What was that Mewthree like creature.”
Vik: “Dark and Psychic type Espedow. It’s Xero’s newest and deadliest pokemon. We’ve had trouble from that thing since this whole adventure started.”
Gwen: “Chase, Vik, AJ, Lucas, Amy, and Brad. I have a terrible feeling. That Flash Drive Dusknoir swallowed had more information on the few 5th generation pokemon Gamefreak created before they went out of business. I’m afraid Espedow might use those files to attack us.”

AJ: “Pfff, relax Gwen. What could be worst then a Dialga or Palkia attack the base.” Both Shade’s and Gwen’s cell phones went off. They then looked and then both gave a shocked gasp.
Shade: “What kind of trick is this?”
Brad: “What’s wrong?”
Gwen: “We both got a text message from our Boss. It’s his Giratina. He’s lost control over it and it’s on a rampage. Espedow seems to have gained control over it and their approaching our base!”

Chase: “This is a joke right?”
Shade: “The Boss wanted to use Giratina to counter attack Xero and his Pokemon. Didn’t he get the message that Xero’s dead?”
Gwen: “Apparently not. Besides since the Boss is in outer space the soonest he gets a message from us is about 5 minutes.” Krystal began signing and Chatot was next to speak.
Chatot: “Giratina could easily destroy us inside this base. Escape! Escape! Escape!”
Lucas: “I wanna go home!”
AJ: “I agree with Lucas. Gwen, send out a Celebi already!”

Gwen: “Xero was the only one who’s PRi is upgraded to summon Celebi’s.
Brad: “You mean we’re all trapped here!”
Amy: “Until this crazy war is won?”
Chase: “Then I hope we win this war.” Suddenly the base’s alarm blared and a few seconds later the entire base shook. The impact was so violent that everyone was thrown off their feet and found themselves laying in awkward positions.

Gwen: “Is everyone alright?” Soon the alarm stopped blaring and then the Team Chaos Boss’s voice came on.
TC Boss: “Attention all Team Chaos Members. I regret to inform you that my experiment with Giratina has gone horribly wrong. Even though it has been digitized from my Platinum game, it has gone haywire. All its stats are at 999 so be prepared for a harsh battle. I planned on using Giratina to destroy Xero, but now Xero’s Pokemon will now use it to destroy you unless you all find a way to stop Giratina by any means possible.” The intercoms shut off after playing the Boss’s message.

Chase: “OK, nobody panic.”
Lucas: “Are you kidding? Chase, I think this is a very good time to panic.”
Gwen: “No Lucas. He’s right. A smart man once told me that in stressful situations like these the best thing to do is stay calm. We need to focus on a solution.” Then the base violently shook again. The ceiling then began to crumble.
AJ: “Where’s a safe place!”
Gwen: “Lucas, get Gallade to teleport us to the Battle Simulator Room. That room is separated from the main base so we’ll be safe there!”

Lucas: “Gallade, can you teleport all of us there?” Gallade nodded. Then closed its eyes and concentrated. The base began to shake again but a softer magnitude then the last few times. Then next thing everyone knew they disappeared from the base and reappeared in the Battle Simulator room. Vik then got up.
Vik: “OK, looks like we won’t beat Giratina and Espedow unless we call a truce between our team and Team Chaos.”
Shade: “I perfer to work alone.”

Gwen: “Shade, this is something bigger then you and Team Chaos. Swallow your pride and actually be part of a team for a change. Our new team.”
Chase: “I’ll tell you what Shade. If you’re not liking our team within 15 minutes, you can turnaround and attack my pokemon.”
Shade: “Fine. I’ll play along for now.”
Brad: “Then it’s agreed. Truce?” Everyone came in a circle. Brad facing Gwen, Chase facing Shade, Vik facing Chatot and Krystal, and AJ and Lucas facing Amy.
Everyone: “TRUCE!”

Chapter 15: Giratina Runs Wild: With (almost) Everyone working together, they all try to tame Giratina and return it to the Team Chaos Boss. However taking on a pokemon with perfect stats proves no easy task when they all have legit pokemon.
 
Hey all, Chapter 15 is due to be posted shortly. In the meantime I just want some input on something. Recently I started writing up "short stories" about each character's past. Mostly the Team Chaos members so fans of this fan fic series could get to know their favorite characters better. Also no matter what, I'm eventually posting a chapter about Xero's past.

I would like to get to know Gwen a little more and even Krystal and Chatot because I was always wondering how Krystal got Chatot to communicate for her and how Gwen got to be a member of Team Chaos in the first place.

Chapter 15: Giratina Runs Wild
Part 1: Prebattle Jitters​

Nine people stood in the Battle Simulator room. Brad and Amy, friends of Vik who ran a fan club of Team Rocket and wearing matching Rocket Grunt uniforms. Chase, Vik, AJ, and Lucas four friends who loved advuntures and pokemon. Gwen and Shade, two of Team Chaos Admins who both ironically didn’t enjoy working for Team Choas. Krystal, a friend of Gwen and grand daughter of one of the creators of pokemon Ken Sugimori. They all stood in a circle and after calling a truce.
Chase: “So what’s the plan?”
Shade: “I say we take it out my any means necessary.” Shade’s Rhyperior that was standing behind him roared in agreement.
Brad: “I second that.”

Vik: “We’ll need some kind of strategy. Are we gonna use Toxic or something like that?”
Chase: “I have a Gliscor with Toxic, Knock Off, and Stealth Rock.”
Gwen: “What Nature?”
Chase: “Jolly, so it’s fast.”
Gwen: “Poison Giratina, then use Stealth Rock to limit it’s movements.” The entire base shook once again. Giratina from the outside had used Draco Meteor to rain small blue energy balls onto the base.
AJ: “This place is gonna be wrecked in no time. If only I could call out my Latios, then I’d pwn that thing here and now.”

Amy: “Just do the best you can.”
Lucas: “You ready Gallade? This is gonna be the hardest thing we’ve ever done before.” Lucas looked up to his Gallade. Gallade looked at his trainer then nodded.
Chase: “OK, Gliscor let’s rock!” Chase brought his PRi and then a flash of light came from the lens on the back of the top screen. The light then took the form of a Gliscor and the Fanged Scorpion Pokemon appeared.
Vik: “Ready for this? Here comes Toxicroak!” Vik held out his PRi and then Toxicroak came out and gave an intimidating cry that was nothing more then a low croak.

Shade: “I’ll stick with Rhyperior.” Rhyperior held up both hands and roared. It looked just like its Platinum sprite for a moment.
Gwen: “Gardevoir’s tired, so I’ll have to use an alternative. Let’s go Froslass.” Gwen unfolded her PRi and then a white pokemon appeared and cried out its name. Froslass then floated next to its trainer.
AJ: “If I could use a legendary I’d pick my Latios. So instead, I’ll go with my Feraligatr.”
Brad: “I choose Honchcrow!”

Amy: “And I’ll go with Blissy!” Amy kissed the top screen of her PRi before hitting the “digitize” button on the touch screen. Then she held out the device and Blissy appeared along with Feraligatr and Honchkrow.
Chase: “Everyone ready?!” Chase could hear his friends shout “yeah” around him but then someone rebelled.
Shade: “Hang on, who made you captain of this team?”
AJ: “Chase is just a natural born leader. Vik and I are used to it. Our league leader appoints him as a ‘mini league leader.’”

Shade: “Pokemon league leader or not, Rhyperior and I don’t take orders from y-“ There was another loud band and the whole base shoke once again. Somewhere outside Chase and the others could hear glass breaking and smashing against the concrete ground. Suddenly they realized that the glass roof above them had also shattered and there was Giratiana Origin Form floating high above.
Chase: “Gliscor, use Stealth Rock to block those glass shards.” Chase’s Gliscor flew up and then fired rock spears from its pincers. The huge glass shards only shattered into smaller pieces.
Lucas: “Gallade, move us over with Teleport!”

Gwen: “Blissy, give Gallade power with Helping Hand!” Blissy lit up with a light yellow aura and fired an energy jolt at Gallade. Gallade’s eyes glowed white and then there was a white flash as the whole group teleported to the other side of the Battle Simulation Room. At first everyone was nervous when they heard the sound of glass against concrete but then they realized that they were safe.

Vik: “Close one, but I think from now on we should spread out and not stay so huddled together.”
Shade: “I agree. Chase, you bozo, you almost got us shredded. Rocks break things, not shield people.”
Chase: “It was first thing that came to my mind, so I though I’d give it a try.” Chase’s Gliscor floated down and landed next to him.
Gliscor: “Gliscor Gli.” Shade’s Rhyperior roared and then stared down Gliscor. Gliscor then held out one claw and seemed to threaten Rhyperior.

Chatot: “Rawk. Wow Rhyperior and Gliscor are ready to fight it out. Think Chatot can have ring side seats.” Krystal looked at Chatot with disbelief. Then she yanked a green feather from Chatot’s rear end.
Gwen: “We have no time for jokes or arguments. Let’s stop Giratina and Espedow already.” Gliscor and Rhyperior were still staring at each other with angry looks on their faces. Obviously they got their instant disliking of each other from their trainers. AJ’s Feraligatr moved in between the two pokemon and stried to separate them.

Shade: “I thought you said that Gliscor was Jolly Nature. It doesn’t seem Jolly to me.”
Chase: “Shut up Shade. Let’s just focus on the big boss battle. Gliscor, time to fly.” Gliscor looked back at Chase and then flew back to his side. Feraligatr took one look at Rhyperior who looked away from it. Then it walked back to AJ.
Brad: “Chase, if you can land a Toxic attack on Giratina then all we’d have to do is stall until Poison KO’s that beast.”
Chase: “OK, but how.”

Brad: “Easy. Honchkrow and I will fly up there and distract them while Gliscor will sneak from behind and attack.” Brad then tried to get on board his Big Boss Pokemon but it instantly collapsed under his weight.
Gwen: “Um Brad –“
Brad: “It’s ‘Boss’ to non Rocket members.”
Gwen: “Whatever. Honchkrow is two feet eleven inches tall. You’re a big guy. I don’t think it can carry you.”
Amy: “I told you to lay off the fries.” Brad smiled, obviously embarrassed. He climbed off his Honchkrow and the pokemon got back on its feet and gasped for breath.

Gwen: “Let me show you a little special feature Jason programmed into the PRi’s. If you go to you active pokemon’s summary screen, you’ll see a button that says ‘Pokemon’s eyes.’ Hit that and then see what happens.” Everyone followed Gwen’s instructions. Chase went to his Gliscor’s Summary screen and then hit the Pokemon’s eyes button on the touch screen. The top screen then went blank for a moment and then it switched to a first person view of himself from the back. Chase then turned around and saw his Gliscor looking and him and then saw himself on the PRi’s top screen. Everyone around the room were astounded at this feature.

Shade: “So Jason made it so that whatever our pokemon sees, we can see as well.”
Gwen: “Our Pokemon can battle Giratina and we can monitor them and send our battle commands to them with the PRi’s. This way we’ll be safe.”
Chase: “OK, Gliscor go after Giratina!”
Brad: “Follow it Honchkrow!”
Gwen: “You two Froslass!” Gliscor and Honchkrow took flight while Froslass floated upward through the hole in the ceiling and then went after Giratina.

Lucas: “They’ll need help.”
AJ: “Let’s get to higher ground.” Lucas and Gallade looked at each other and then both nodded.
AJ: “Lucas, what are you thinking?”
Lucas: “Gallade can Teleport us near the battle and then we’ll get close.”
AJ: “OK, Feraligatr, get ready.”
Shade: “Rhyperior’s going with you too. It’s too slow to keep up with Giratina so as much as I hate to admit it, we’ll have to rely on the pest to get us close enough to battle.” Rhyperior walked close to Gallade and gave out a roar to say it was willing to help.

Lucas: “Don’t call me a pest.”
Chatot: “Yeah, call him bogus Lucas.”
Lucas: “Would you shut up Chatot? Krystal, why couldn’t you capture a Quiet Nature Chatot instead?” Krystal shrugged, then started signing again.
Chatot: “Krystal says sometimes Chatot can be quite charming, but since you’re annoyed with Chatot then Chatot will help battle Giratina and – RAWk! What did Krystal say?” Krystal puted for a moment then wagged a finger at Chatot. Lucas giggled.

Lucas: “You’re gonna get eaten alive by Giratina Chatot.” Krystal was beginning to argue with her own interpreter.
Chatot: “Chatot maybe at lv.100 but doesn’t stand chance against hacked pokemon. Chatot doesn’t need to battle. Krystal has plenty of other capable pokemon. Rawk, Flash drive? No, Chatot doesn’t play fetch. Get a Houndoom to play fetch.” Krystal kept on signing off but Chatot didn’t seem to want to listen.
AJ: “We’re wasting time.”

Lucas: “Gallade, you, Rhyperior, and Feraligatr go on.” Gallade then nodded, then it teleported away with the other two pokemon. Lucas and AJ checked their PRi’s and saw that Gallade and the other pokemon were standing in a destroyed office with the wall torn out. They could see that the pokemon were in the main building several floors up and saw Giratina flying about launching Draco Meteor attacks at the building. Gliscor and Honchkrow were standing by awaiting battle commands.

Vik: “Toxicroak, let’s hop to it.”
Amy: “Ready Blissey?” Toxicraok and Blissey turned to their trainers and then nodded.
Amy: “Think you’re Toxicroak could give my Blissey a lift?”
Vik: “No problem. Toxicroak, carry Blissey up onto the roof of this building.” Toxicroak nodded and then lifted Blissey up and held it with ease. Then it leapt up to big screen TV that was mounted to the wall. After landing, it then bounced upward through the hole in the ceiling and out onto the roof, sill carrying Blissey in its arms. A chilly breeze wisped by the two Pokemon. The sun was almost completely gone and Giratina was becoming harder to see as the sky above them grew darker. Giratina's tentacles slowly swayed in the night's breeze. Each tentacle seemed to be whispering a death message to the other Pokemon.

Espedow (telepathically): So this is the best Team Chaos and friends could come up with? How sad. None of the other pokemon responded. Across from Giratina, there were Gallade, Feraligatr, and Rhyperior standing in a damaged office. Gallade extended the swords on its elbows. Behind and a few feet below Giratina in the sky were Gliscor, Honchkrow, and Froslass. Future below Giratina were Toxicroak and Blissey standing on the glass roof of the Battle Simulation Room. For a moment, it seemed to everyone as if time stood still. No one moved, none of the pokemon attacked, and the panic of people trying to escape from Giratina’s wrath seemed to have died down. Then Gwen broke the silence.

Gwen: “Froslass, Icy Windy!” Froslass opened its mouth and then exhaled a breath with blue particles blowing toward Giratina. Giratina was hit dead on and found it difficult to move.
Vik: “Nice, that cuts its speed in half.”
Chase: “Gliscor, use Toxic now!” Gliscor’s claws glowed bright purple. Espedow saw the Toxic attack coming. Chased watch from the first person view of his PRi as Gliscor moved in closer toward Giratina caught in the Icy Wind attack. Then Chase saw two purple orbs of poison get launched from Gliscor and towards Giratina. Suddenly Giratina vanished.

Chase: “What?”
AJ: “Espedow must have used Teleport.”
Chase: “So where’d it go?” They didn’t have wait long to find out. Soon another loud crash was heard. As the ground rumbled the lights began to flicker on and off then suddenly went out.
Lucas: “Ah, a power outage!”
Shade: “Big deal. I kind of like it better like this anyway.” They were all still unaware of Giratina’s whereabouts. They were battling a pokemon far too battle. None of them had anything nearly as powerful as the beast the Team Chaos Boss had created, and Jason and Commander Serph were nowhere to be found. Gwen wondered if they had met the same fate as Xero.

Chapter 16

Part 2 of the epic Giratina Battle. I forced myself to listen to this song over and over to put me in the right mood. I mean, c'mon, Giratina is a demonic pokemon, it's hacked to perfect stats, so it's a very creepy boss battle. Kinda like another character I like. Anyway, enjoy this chapter and tell me what you all think.

Chapter 16: Giratina Runs Wild
Part 2: Destructive Power​

Gallade, Rhyperior, and Feraligatr look out the big gaping hole in the side of the building several floors up from the Battle Simulation Room their trainers stood. A chilly breeze swayed by as the sun slowly disappeared behind the hills. All thre pokemon were on high alert with their trainers anxiously waiting for Giratina to strike and watching everything they saw via the PRi’s. Gallade and Rhyperior each stood on one side of the hole in the wall keeping a look out for Giratina while Froslass and Gliscor flew about looking for the enemy.

Their Trainers waited in the Battle Simulation room. Since Giratina had managed to cause a power outage the only light they had was from the back lit screens of the PRi’s. Lucas stood close to his brother AJ while Vik stayed near Amy and Brad since they were all part of their Team Rocket fan group. Krsytal and Gwen stood near the exit with Krystal’s Chatot perched on her shoulder. All of them waited quietly in the darkness.

Something in the room moved.

Suddenly the atmosphere seemed eerie and Feraligatr gave a small cry as it sensed something. Something was now back inside the base near the room where Gallade, Feraligatr, and Rhyperior were. Then Gallade saw it come from the ceiling. A long dark tentacle with a red claw at the end glowing with a dark purple aura surrounding it. Shadow Claw Attack! The tentacle slashed downward toward Feraligatr.
Gallade: “Gallade Gal!”
Feraligatr: “Gator!”

Feraligatr ducked down and started crawling on all fours. When AJ realized what was going on he shouted into the Microphone of the PRi.
AJ: “Now Feraligatr use Ice Beam to trap Giratina!” Feraligator got back on its hind legs and opened its huge jaw with a light blue energy forming. Then fired two streams of Ice Beams at the shadowy tentacle. It hit, the tentacle became trapped. Soon Giratina’s whole body decented from above and then hovered in the room. Espedow was still riding on it.
Lucas: “Now’s our chance. Use Psycho Cut Gallade!”

Shade: “Rhyperior, use Rock Blast!” Gallade fired a blade of blue Psychic energy at Giratina and Rhyperior opened its palms and fired rocks at Giratina! Both were direct hits but Giratina didn’t seem phased at all.
Chase: “Gliscor get in there and try Toxic one more time!” Chase’s Gliscor flew into the room and then clamped onto Giratina’s face. Its tail and claws began glowing purple again. Espedow began charging up a Dark Pulse attack in its hands but Lucas and Gallade saw that.

Lucas: “Use Disable!” Gallade stared at Espedow and then Espedow found itself unable to move. Gliscor then stabbed Giratina’s face with its tail and slashed it with its poisonous claws. Giratina had become Badly Poisoned.
Vik: “Nice job dude. Now its only a matter of time.”
Espedow (telepathically): I’ve had enough of your games. NOW DIE ALREADY! Giratina opened its mouth and formed a mixture of blue and white energy between it and Gliscor. More blue and white fire balls also formed on Giratina’s six tentacles. Gallade was already holding back Espedow’s Dark Pulse so there was nothing it could do.

Lucas: “What are all those creepy fire balls?” Gwen ran over to look at Lucas’ screen.
Gwen: “Oh no. It looks like Draco Meteor. Those four pokemon are going to get since they’re too close.” Looking up from the glass ceiling of the Battle Simulation Room Gwen and all the others could see a bluish glow coming from the hole on the side of the base.
Chase: “Shade, do something!”

Shade: “Rhyperior, use Rock Blast again!” Rhyperior fired rocks the size of bowling balls at Giratina but again it proved no use. Giratina fired the first meteor at Gliscor which blasted it out the hole and falling toward the people.
Brad: “Honchkrow, catch it!” Brad’s Honchkrow flew in and caught Gliscor by the tail with its talons. Chase looked at his screen. With Giratina’s attack stats at 999 it took out Gliscor in one shot. All of its HP was drained.

Chase: “Shoot. Well at least we poisoned Giratina.” Honchkrow dropped off the KO’d Gliscor back in the room with the trainer and Chase recalled it into his Diamond game. Then the giant crow flew back into battle. Up above there were bright flashed of blue and white lights. Then on the room of the warehouse next door appeared Gallade, Feraligatr, and Rhyperior. Gallade used Teleport to remove them out of harm’s way. Giratina then flew out toward Gwen’s Froslass and Brad’s Honchkrow.
Brad: “Honchkrow, strike back with Night Slash!”
Amy: “Send Honchkrow power with Helping Hand!

Gwen: “Froslass, Shadow Ball!” Far below from where Honchkrow and Giratina were levitating, Blissey gathered energy and fired a stream of it to Honchkrow. Honchkrow’s wings then glowed with a mix of black and white energy. It flew past Giratina while slicing it with its wings. Giratina yelled out a roar of pain. Froslass then formed a ball in its left hand, and then threw it at Giratina. Again a mighty roar of pain echoed across the skies. The group of trainers cheered with joy.
Chase: “Yeah, now we’re getting somewhere.”

Chatot: “Oh no, look at Espedow!” Everyone looked at either Gwen’s or Brad’s PRi and saw that Espedow was carrying a White Herb. It then fed it to Giratina. Giratina then regained the power it had lost when it used Draco Meteor.
Gwen: “Now I get it. Espedow is healing Giratina so it can finish the job Xero could never do; destroy Team Chaos. They won’t stop until either we defeat Giratina or if it burns us and this building block to the ground.”
Chatot: “What do we do? What do we do? What do we do?” Chatot then looked at its trainer as he sat on her shoulder. Then Krystal looked at her with a narrowed eye stare.

Lucas: “You should help us Chatot?”
Chatot: “Quiet! Bogus Lucas is not Chatot’s Trainer!” Krystal then instantly began signing frantically. Chatot then dropped its beak.
Lucas: “What is she saying?”
Chatot: “Chatot may have Naughty Nature but Krystal is the one who’s crazy. No way is Chatot going to use Pluck attack to make Espedow lose items.” Chatot and Krystal soon began arguing.
Brad: “Shouldn’t we get them to stop?”

Gwen: “Those two will work it out one way or another.” Up above Giratina began forming another Draco Meteor attack. Honchkrow flew toward Giratina with another Night Slash attack. Froslass shouted at Honchkrow to fallback but it was too late. Before Honchkrow could land a hit on Giratina it fired three meteors to counter attack. Honchkrow managed to dodge the first meteor by ascending quickly but then the second meteor stuck its head and the third meteor hit its stomach dead center. The attack was too powerful and Honchkrow was KO’d instantly. The Big Boss Pokemon fell and crashed through another portion of the glass ceiling.

Brad: “You fought well Honchkrow. Nice try.” Brad then hit the recall button on his PRi and Honchkrow was called back into his Diamond game.
Amy: “How much health do you think Giratina has left?”
Brad: “Not sure, but since Giratina’s Poisoned I assume it’s lost at least a third of its max HP by now.” They then turned their attention toward the arguing Chatot and its trainer Krystal.

Chatot: “… Gliscor was defeated so Chatot has no chance. Chatot is staying right here and-“ Suddenly a Machop was grabbing Chatot. It was Lucas’ Machop.
Lucas: “Get ready to throw Chatot toward Giratina.” Machop looked up into the darkening sky and then stretched out the arm that was holding Chatot.
Chatot: “What is going on? Why this? Let Chatot go already!”
Lucas: “You should’ve cooperated Chatot. We are a team after all.”
AJ: “And everyone in the team plays their part to help us reach the team goal.”

Gwen: “So do what Krystal asked you to and attack Espedow, not Giratina.”
Chatot: “Wait, wait, hold on!” Machop then threw Chatot with all its might. Chatot then spreaded its wings a flew toward Giratina and Espedow, which were being slowed down by another one of Froslass’s Icy Wind. Espedow then noticed the Parrot pokemon closing in on it. After Chatot arrived in Giratina's airspace, Lucas recalled his Machop.
Epsedow: What’s this? Another sad pokemon attempting to stop us? You’re nothing but a rat with wings. Chatot then became angry and closed only its lower eye lid, giving an angry glare.

Chatot: “Yeah, well then PLUCK YOU!” Chatot flew in close toward Espedow and then struck it with its beak. Espedow lost its balance and fell off Giratina and into the darkness. Chatot grabbed the last White Herb Espedow had and ate it. All the trainers below saw it all happen on Gwen’s PRi and Froslass’s eyes.
Vik: “Chatot… did it?” Krystal raised a fist in celebration and gave out a silent shout of joy.
Gwen: “Froslass, Shadow Ball again!” Froslass formed a Shadow Ball on its left hand then threw it at Giratina. Then Chatot flew to the side and its wings glowing with an orange-red aura.

Chatot: “Chatot pwns all, so taste Chatot’s Heat Wave.” Giratina felt the warm heat from Chatot but it seemingly had no effect on it. Giratina then formed an Aura Sphere attack. The mix of yellow and blue energy formed a ball in front of Giratina’s mouth and then it was fired at Chatot. Chatot took a direct hit and the Aura Sphere launched it down from the sky and into the wall of the Battle Simulation Room. Inside the trainers could hear the thud as Chatot hit the wall. Krystal, Gwen, Chase, and Lucas all ran outside to see where Chatot had hit the wall. A street light gave them enough light to see the alley where Chatot landed.

Chase: “Look, over there.” Chase pointed. There large crack in the wall where Chatot had hit it. Chatot itself was on the ground and KO’d. It seemed like it had took a brutal beating from that one Aura Sphere. The four trainers then ran to the injured pokemon. Just as they arrived a slab of concrete where Chatot had hit the wall slid out of place and then fell. Chatot was then smashed under the concrete.
Gwen: “Oh, that looks like it hurts.”
Lucas: “Wow that was funny.”

Chase: “Yikes, I’d hate to be Chatot right about now.” Chase leaned down and removed the chunk of concrete from the flattened Chatot. Krystal then recalled it. Just then Vik’s Toxicroak came crashing down and landed in the dumpster. It too had taken a vicious attack from Giratina. Vik came running out of the room and into the alley.
Vik: “Toxicroak, are you alright?” Vik then ran up to the dumpster and helped his pokemon out, but it was also OHKO’d.

Chase: “This is starting to get out of hand.”
Gwen: “Everyone, look up!” Gwen pointed at Giratina closing in on them. The bright red eyes filled with hatred stuck fear into each of them. There was one more deafening roar from Giratina as it flew closer toward them. For a minute Chase felt like this could be the end and Giratina’s roar was a call from death itself. Out of fear he and the others closed their eyes and flinched.
Lucas: “Gallade!” Lucas’ Gallade leaped down into the alley and used Disable. Giratina stopped moving for a moment. Then Shade and AJ saw an opportunity and went for it. They sent their commands through their PRi’s.

AJ: “Now Feraligatr, use Crunch!”
Shade: “Use Rock Wrecker!” Feraligatr was the first to strike. It jumped down from the warehouse’s roof right next door to the Battle Simulation Room and landed on Giratina’s back. Then it hunched down its massive jaw on four of the six tentacles protruding from Giratina’s back. Giratina was roaring in pain. Then Rhyperior appeared on the roof of the warehouse. It was carrying a large boulder and then fired it with great force at Giratina. The boulder shattered on impact but it managed to cause Giratina to crash onto the and slide into the wall of the battle simulation room. The impact of the crash was strong enough to set off a tremor. The remains of the glass ceiling gave in and began to rain down inside again.
Brad: “Let’s get out of here!” Amy’s Blissey also fell down from the roof. It was hit with a few glass shards but didn’t seem seriously injured. It followed Amy and Brad out of the room who were the last ones to escape.

AJ: “Everyone ok?”
Amy: “I think so.” After that, they all heard Giratina roaring. Everyone looked down the alley way. Feraligatr had also been caught in the force of Rhyperior’s Rock Wrecker attack. It limped toward Gallade who was standing between Giratina and Vik who was the closest human to Giratina at the time. Vik then found the time to recall Toxicroak back into his Pearl game.
Lucas: “Let’s finish it off!”

Amy: “Blissey, use Softboiled to heal Feraligatr.” Blissey skipped over to Feraligatr and then the egg in its pouch began to glow. It broke the egg on Feraligatr and it seemed to be healed from its injuries. Giratina then quickly became airborne again and gave out a roar of anger.
Lucas: “Gallade, use Psycho Cut!”
Gwen: “Froslass, Ice Wind. Keep Giratina down.” Froslass hovered toward Giratina and then blew a wind with blue particles right above Giratina. Gallade then launched a blue blade at Giratina. It merely nicked Giratina. Then Giratina looked down at Gallade. It seemed angry at it.

Vik: “Lucas, you better call Gallade back.” It was too late. Giratina launched a Shadow Claw attack with one tentacle. The tentacle stretched out and impaled Gallade in the chest. There was a look of shock on Gallade’s face and it stood there with Giratina’s tentacle piercing its body. Then gave out a cry of agony.
Gallade: “Gal-laaaaaaaaaaaaaaddde!” Lucas, AJ, Chase, Gwen, and Vik all gasped at they saw Gallade take the attack and then fall to its knees. A chilly wind blew through the alley as Lucas stared in awe. Then Gallade collapsed onto the ground was and fell silent after that.

Lucas: “Gallade, no!” Lucas ran toward his pokemon.
AJ: “Lucas, come back! It’s too dangerous and mom will kill me if you get injured!” Lucas didn’t listen and ran to Gallade’s side. He rubbed his pokemon’s face.
Lucas (sobbing): “Gallade, please say something. Please be ok.” There were tears in Lucas’ eyes. He shook his pokemon desperately to see if it would respond. Giratina then began forming seven more Draco Meteor attacks. Lucas was too concerned about his pokemon to notice.

AJ: “Lucas, heads up!” AJ ran out to shield his brother. Feraligatr came to AJ’s side to protect the two brothers. Giratina then fired the Draco Meteors.
Vik: “GUYS, LOOK OUT!”
Chase: “AJ, LUCAS, NOOOOOOO!”

Chapter 17: Damage Calculation With Giratina proving too powerful for our heroes and their allies they have no choice but to flee. However, one person isn't willing to give up after all the destruction that's caused...

So here we are on the Set of Pokemon AR. Krystal is messing with a projector. AJ, Shade, Brad, and Amy are drinking their coffee. Chase and Vik are deck testing to prepare for Autumn Battle Roads. Gwen is fixing her hair and working on her make up while Lucas holds a mirror for her.
Chase: "Alright, I'll scoop. I'm getting tired of you pwning me with Blaze-Ray."
Vik: "I'll stop pwning you when Krystal fixes the projector." Suddenly an image of Giratina Origin Form appears and Krystal puts a screw driver down as she tests a few buttons on the projector.
AJ: "Oh, Krystal you got the Giratina footage working again?" Suddenly the projector frizzes out and the Giratina hologram vanishes. Krystal slaps her forehead out of frustraition. She's upset that the project is not working and they can't get on with the performance. Chase sighes.

Chase: "I guess our coffee break gonna take longer. Our fans on Pokegym and DeviantART will have to wait a bit longer."
Lucas: "This is what you get for using cheap special effects. We can't do the next chapter if there's no Giratina to scare us." Suddenly a sandbag falls from the ceiling and lands near Chase. Chase jumps to the side, calms down for a second, and then looks up.
Chase: "Hey, what the heck Xero?" Xero is up above the Pokemon AR set on the upper platforms hiding a pair of sheers behind his back.
Xero: "Sorry, it slipped."
Chase: "Yeah right."
Gwen: "Can't you be a good sport? Be greateful you were brought onto this Fan Fic Xero." Xero Scoffs and crosses his arms.

Xero: "It's just not fair that I had to have a death scene and the rest of you guys get to stay in this story. I bet most of the readers on Pokegym want me to be the star of this Fan Fic. I SHOULD BE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!"
AJ: "Quit complaining and go to the audio room. You're the voice actor for Espedow anyway so that should count as you being in the fan fic."
Xero: "It's a fan fic, not a flash animation on Newgrounds. There's a big differance!" Jason walks onto the set with a Chatot puppet that has been torn and the holes in its chest and its wings sewed back together. More green tail feathers were glued one to the rear end to keep up the running gag of getting Chatot to shut up.

Jason: "Ok, I fixed the walkie talkie inside this Chatot doll so we can use it again in the future chapter."
Chatot: "That's good, because Chatot is the real star of this fan fic and everyone on Pokegym loves Chatot."
Lucas: "Whoever's Chatot's Voice Actor needs to quit it. The camera's aren't rolling yet." Jason now turns and faces the Pokegym members reading this "bonus scene."
Jason: "The red light on the camera's on. People know what's going on here."
Gwen: "Ah! My make up's not done yet! Please tell me this isn't being posted! I refuse to be on Pokegym unless it's an actual full written and well thought out chapter!"
Jason: "Sorry folks. Pretend you never read and/or saw this content." Jason shuts off the tranmission.

Chapter 17

Yay, I finally got this posted. Next chapter will the one where we all learn about Shade's past and how he got to be a Team Chaos Admin.

Chapter 17: Damage Calculation​

Giratina fired the Draco Meteor attack directly at AJ and lucas who were both at the fainted Gallade’s side. AJ quickly jumped in front of his brother to protect him. Lucas then shut his eyes and waited for the worst to come. Suddenly there was a bright flash and he could feel the shockwave of the nearby explosion. Dust and bright light exploded around them.
Chase: “AJ!”
Gwen: “Lucas!”
Froslass: “Fros!”
Feraligatr: “Ferali!”
Blissey: “Blisseeeeeyyy!”

Inside the explosion Lucas tried to open his eyes but the shock wave from the Draco Meteor attack hitting something made it hard for him to open them all the way. As he squinted he could see that AJ was no longer in front of him. Then he heard something hit something metallic. Did AJ get blown away from the shock wave? Soon the dust settled down and the alley way cleared up. Lucas could feel his heart beating so fast that he thought it was about to burst.
Lucas: “I’m… ok?” After the entire trauma that had just occurred Lucas found it hard to breathe. His heart continued to be pumping quickly and he could feel a little bit of sweat form on his forehead. Lying in front of him were Feraligatr, Froslass, and Blissey. The three of them had taken the force of the attack to protect them, and they were all knocked out.

Lucas: “AJ?”
AJ: “Over here bro.” AJ was sitting next to the dumpster where Toxicroak had landed earlier. However AJ didn’t seem fine. He was gripping his left arm with his right hand and seemed to be in pain.
Gwen: “Oh my god.”
Brad: “Are you ok man?”
Libby: “Does it hurt?” Lucas got up to his feet and ran to his brother’s side. There was a tear in the left sleeve near AJ’s shoulder.
AJ: “I banged my upper arm against the dumpster when the attack hit. God it hurts so badly.” AJ began gritting his teeth. Giratina let out another terrifying roar. It still had some fight left in it. It spread out its six tentacles as they eached started glowing purple. Another round of Shadow Claw attacks were on their way.

Brad: “What options do we have left?”
Shade: “Just Rhyperior. It’s done recharging after using Rock Wrecker.”
Chase: “You think after all those attacks and Toxic’s effect Giratina would be down for the count by now.” Shade’s Rhyperior jumped down from the roof of the warehouse and then prepared to take on Giratina’s attack. It didn’t even stand a chance. All six Shadow Claws tore at Rhyperior and soon after Rhyperior collapsed.
Amy: “So what’s plan B?”

Chase: “Like heck I’m giving up to this demonic Pokemon. Quaketail, you’re up!” Chase reactivated his PRi and then his silver plated armadillo pokemon appeared. It raised its sledge hammer shaped tail in the air.
Vik: “Are you seriously going to use a fifth generation reject we know nothing about?”
Chase: “I know it’s a steel type pokemon and it can resist Shadow Claw and the weakened Draco Meteor until Toxic wares Giratina down.” Chase’s Quaketail slammed its huge tail into the ground and caused a small tremor. The Recycling container near Amy tipped over from the tremor and spilled out chunks of cardboard.

Amy: “Ok, big things come in small packages I guess.”
Chase: “Now Quaketail, use Iron Tail!”
Quaketail: “Quake!” Quaketail ran forward toward Giratina and then jumped up with its tail glowing. Giratina then formed an Aura Sphere attack at its mouth. While in mid air Quaketail flipped over and slammed its tail onto Giratina’s body.
Chase: “Bull’s eye!” Giratina was knocked back only a few feet. Then it fired the Aura Sphere attack at Quaketail.

Vik: “Chase, Steel Types don’t resist Fighting moves.” Quaketail landed on the ground and saw the incoming Aura Sphere heading towards. The armadillo pokemon began to panic and then curled up into a ball. Then out of nowhere another Aura Sphere came out and intercepted Giratina’s Aura Sphere. The second Aura Sphere came from above and behind where the trainers were all standing. Lucas and AJ watched from the side as the second Aura Sphere came in surprisingly quickly and canceled out the first one.
Chase: “Wait, Quaketail’s alright? How?”

Lucas: “Guys, look behind you!” Everyone saw AJ and Lucas pointed above their heads. They all turned around and looked up… and they each took a collective gasp.
Amy: “No! Not another one!” To everyone’s horror, a second Giratina had appeared, also in Origin Form. It had been the one to launch the second Aura Sphere attack. It moved faster because the first Giratina’s speed had been cut down from Froslass’s Icy Wind Attacks. The second Giratina looked down on the crowd.
Shade: “I thought you said the boss only had one Giratina!”

Gwen: “That’s what I thought as well Shade, but I don’t know everything aobut our Boss for that matter!” The second Giratina floated past the trainers and approached the first Giratina. Chase’s Quaketail had uncurled itself and stood back on all fours. IT just stood there shaking out of fear. Lucas and AJ stayed next to the dumpster with AJ injured. Lucas folded his hands together and whispered “don’t hurt us” under his breather over and over again. The second Giratina then turned around and faced the trainers along with the first Giratina.
Brad: “Oh crud. We could barely handle one Giratina. How are we supposed to take on two of these things?”
Amy: “Don’t as me, pumpkin. You know more about pokemon then I do.”

Chase: “Remind me not to get involved with Team Chaos next time I get a device that can bring pokemon to life.”
Vik: “Remind me to stop hanging out with you every time an adventure pops up.” Suddenly the first Giratina seemed to be weakening and all its tentacles began to drop.
Gwen: “Chase, I think Toxic is finally draning the last of Giratina’s health.”

Chase: “That’s cool, but what about the second one?” The second Giratina extended two of its tentacles. They began glowing purple. Chase’s Quaketail was still standing below the two Giratina shaking in fear.
Vik: “You and Quaketail better do something before were sent to the Distortion World by those two.” Lucas grabbed AJ by his good arm.
Lucas: “Let’s get out of the way big bro.”

AJ: “OK, but take it easy.” At least AJ’s legs didn’t get hurt when he hit the dumpster. He slowly got up and walked away with Lucas, still clutching his injured arm. Then the second Giratina launched the Shadow Claw attack. Quaketail didn’t move.
Chase: “Whoa! No way!”
Brad: “What the heck?” The second Giratina had attack the first Giratina with Shadow Claw. The first Giratina roared in pain. Then the second Giratina used the other four tentacles to form a Draco Meteor attack while holding its foe with the first two that used Shadow Claw.

Shade: “Why is it helping us?”
Gwen: “Don’t know. Maybe it’s Commander Serph’s or Jason’s?” The Second Giratina fired four fireballs of Draco Meteor at the other Giratina. The original Giratina that the trainers have been battling fainted and remained silent after the Draco Meteor had hit it. While still holding the fainted Giratina the second one began to fly off.
Chase: “Wait, where’s it going?”

Shade: “Hey you!” The second Giratina stopped and then looked directly at Shade. Those piercing red eyes seemed to be examing Shade. Shade then stopped in shock and didn’t say anything.
Gwen: “Shade, are you ok?” The Giratina then used Shadow Force attack to render itself into a 3D Shadow and then disappeared with the original Giratina. Shade still stood there silently. He didn’t move a muscle.
Vik: “Is, uh, Shade ok.”

Lucas: “He’s acting creepy, especially for Shade.” Gwen walked up to Shade who was still looking up toward the night sky. She waved a hand in front of his face.
Gwen: “Yoo hoo, anyone home?” Shade swatted Gwen’s hand out of his face.
Shade: “Bug off Gwen.”
Gwen: “You seemed petrified after Giratina stared at you. Last I checked Giratina cannot learn Glare attack so what’s wrong.” Shade looked at Gwen and suddenly felt uneasy.

Shade: “That Giratina seemed to have known me. It’s not the Giratina I raised on my Diamond game. It’s… something, or someone else. I could feel a familiar presence from that thing.”
AJ: “Sounds to me like you were being haunted by your past.” Shade slowly walked by AJ.
Shade: “Shut up.” He punched AJ’s injured arm.
AJ: “Ow. Why you son of-“ Chase placed a hand on AJ’s shoulder.

Chase: “Hey, calm down man. Let’s take a look at that bad arm of yours.” AJ sat down and Krystal approached him. She then activated her PRi and then came a flash of light. A Lucario then emerged from the flash of light.
Amy: “I don’t get it. What’s with the Lucario?” Lucario then placed a paw on AJ’s injured arm. It’s aura sensors on its head began shaking. Suddenly everyone could see what Lucario was seeing. Blue images began to enter their minds.

Chase: “Is this Lucario’s telepathy?”
Gwen: “It’s showing us what it sees through aura.”
Lucas: “Whoa this is cool. Just like in the movie.” After that moment they all saw AJ’s arm in a blue x-ray like image. They could see a break in the bone.
Vik: “Dude, you broke your arm while slamming against the dumpster? Who does that?”
AJ: “Being sent flying from a Draco Meteor attack will do that to you.” Lucario then stopped using its aura to look at AJ’s broken arm. It then faced Krystal who thanked it be petting its head.

Lucas: “We gotta go to a hospital! Where’s the nearest Emergency Room?”
Gwen: “No we can’t. AJ’s future version of himself is still alive.”
Chase: “How do you know?”
Gwen: “I just do.”
Lucas: “You know because you’re related to me and AJ. I know because I saw your driver’s license.” Everyone except AJ and Lucas were in shock to find that out.
Gwen (Nervously): “Uh, ha ha, I have no idea what you’re talking about Lucas. Such a silly little kid. You sure make a cute dumb blonde.” She patted Lucas on the head, but he got angry with her and stomped on her foot.

Lucas: “Quit hiding secretes Gwen. Besides, I’m a dirt blonde.” Gwen sighed as she stopped shaking her foot that Lucas stepped on.
Gwen: “OK fine. Look, remember last time when AJ was brainwashed into thinking he was a Team Chaos Admin named Skyler? Well I knew AJ back then because he’s my great uncle. Which you, Lucas, my Grandpa.” Everyone wasn’t sure what to think of that. Here 60 years into the future Lucas had already met the teenaged version of his Granddaughter.

Lucas: “I grow up and get MARRIED? Ew! And I end up having a Grand daughter? What the heck?”
Brad: “Ha, looks like it really is better off not knowing your own future.” Gwen laughed.
Gwen: “Even as a kid you still got that sense of humor that makes me laugh. Anyway, if we take AJ to the Emergency room they’d want his social security number, ID, and all those other things. I’m sure we’d find ourselves in a sticky situation if they found out a younger version of AJ Beltran is in this time and not where, or when, you should be.”

AJ: “So what do I do? Avoid people and pokemon touching my left arm. This thing hurts like heck.”
Gwen: “If you want Hospital treatment you’ll have to go back to your time in 2008. However neither mine nor Shade’s PRi are reprogrammed to digitize the pokemon Celebi. So you guys are stuck unless we upgrade someone’s PRi.”
Everyone: “WHAT?!”

Vik: “Just perfect! Xero was the only one with a Celebi programmed into his.”
Brad: “And Giratina reduced this so called Team Chaos base into rubble. What do we do now?”
Shade: “You bozos got one other problem. Jason is the only member of Team Chaos who knew how to reprogram the PRi’s anyway.” Chase kicked a rock in front of him that rolled down the alley.
Chase: “Just great. Jason’s never around when we need him.”
Gwen: “Don’t worry, I got one plan left.”

Shade: “Commander Serph, can you hear me?” Everyone heard Shade speak and then turned to face him. Shade was talking on his cell phone. They all waited patiently. Shade then looked at Gwen and nodded. He managed to contact their Commander. He then pressed a button to put the Commander on speaker phone.
Commander Serph: “Excellent to hear you are all alive. However I know the base was nearly destroyed. How is agent Gwenyth?”

Gwen: “Sir, I’m fine and grateful to be alive. Shade and I were able to hold off and battle Giratina with the help of a few allies.”
Shade: “Commander, where is Jason?”
Commander Serph: “I’ve sent Jason with his Mew to the Base. They are searching for survivors and then everyone must regroup in our main HQ located within the Space Station.” Chase, Vik, Brad, Amy, AJ, and Lucas were shocked to hear that.

Lucas: “You guys have a space station? That’s cool. I want to go to outer space.”
AJ: “Keep quiet Lucas.”
Commander Serph: “Here are your orders as of right now. While the Boss and I - Ah!”
Shade: “Commander what happened?” They could hear feet running against the metallic floor.
Commander Serph: “No, not you!”
Gwen: “Commander, who’s there. Commander Serph, please respond.” The line went dead after that. No one knew what happened to the commander.

Chase: “So now what? We look for Jason?”
Shade: “I’ll look for Jason alone thank you very much. You pip squeaks will just get in my way.”
Brad: “Wasn’t this supposed to be a team effort.”
Shade: “I have a team and it’s Team Chaos. Besides I thought you guys are all palsy-walsy and best friends, and your friends there needs treatment on his arm. Oh, and don’t forget your pokemon. Rhyperior, return.” After all that time everyone forgot about their pokemon. They all looked at the fallen pokemon. Feraligatr, Gallade, Blissey, and Froslass still laid there. Each of their trainers then recalled them. Shade then walked off.

Chase: “Hey Shade…” Chase then found hilself being yelled at by a very irritated Shade.
Shade: “WHAT?” Chase backed down for a moment but continued with what he was about to say.
Chase: “I just wanted to say thanks for helping us.” Chase raised two fingers and held out a peace sign as a greeting. Shade scoffed and walked off.
Vik: “What’s his deal?” They all watched Shade walk off into the darkness.
