Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Center vending kiosk!

Hopefully I'm reading this right...

Looks like the packs are $4.23 (probably 4.50 after tax), and the PCDs and Tins are $17.XX. Can somebody confirm this?

lol, you guys are going all crazy cause it's in a vending machine.
But we can already but any of those stuff at a local store.
It's like instead of going to 7-Eleven to get a can of pop... you can now get it in a vending machine !

It's a neat idea to make more money though. I hope they have a layer of foam at the bottom...
Not good when your cards get damaged from the fall.

I'm mostly hyped about the plushies, which are otherwise unavailable here except by ordering them or something.

um, i'm pretty sure what people are 'going crazy' over are not necessarily the cards/tins/decks/vgames, as those can be purchased nearly anywhere...but the plush and figures, as those have been japan/nintendo world ONLY merchandise till now, and a lot more expensive than in this machine via ebay etc....

oh I see. The plushies are very cute, afterall.
I have a feeling I won't be getting any of these in my location though. Not for a long time anyway.

actually, tax is included in those prices. The PCD's are 14.50, and the tins are 15.50

Meh, I'm not too enthusiastic. It's kind of annoying, and I wouldn't be caught dead buying something from it. Not without a bag.

*Realizes he posted in a Pokemom thread*

I mean, courage.

Yeah, courage.

oh wow those plushes look nice.the figures are the exact same package as the ones from nintendo world interesting

Too bad i'll probably never see one, the one major flaw living in the middle of nowhere in the second smallest province of Canada... :nonono:

But marketing firms need to look at Davitz's post. Vending machines like this are the ticket to small and rural areas. Those in big cities can visit games stores and malls to buy Pokemon items. In rural areas you just put in a vending machine with no shop owner in site, and revisit the machine monthly. This is the way to grow the game in a lesser populated area.
