Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Center vending kiosk!

I agree with PkmnManiac completely. landmin plushy would be amazing!

i just wish they would bring one of these vending machines to the east coast... DC area maybe :thumb:

Has anyone found out if this kiosk is just a test market gig or if they plan on having these things across the states?

If one comes to where I live, I will secretly kiosk-nap it, jimmy rig it so that it will distribute cool Pokies for DS download...... like Utah and Oregon!

( jk on the last part- of course........ or am I?) :p

No- but really- has this been the only one put out or are there others out there? Seattle exclusive? :( if it is...

We were approached by a Pokemon official while we were purchasing my Eevee, since we were all in shock and awe at the machine and thus going very slow, so I retrieved my money and reciept but hadn't pulled out the Eevee yet and he had gotten concerned. We discussed the massive hype on the Gym and how just the fact that it EXISTED had gotten such a great response. Seems like they're doing active research, so I did my piece to make sure you guys get Kiosks in years to come. ^^

Sounds like they will be trying to set up more.

As of noon on 10/26, the plushies were the three legendary dogs, pikachu, and flareon... and the shopping cart feature has yet to be activated.

Could this possibly be a precursor to the Battrio game coming over from Japan? I really hope so. The chips just look SO DARN KOOL!!! And I want to find more of them!

I said it before, and I'll say it again.

THIS NEEDS TO BE IN EVERY MALL IN AMERICA!!!

That is all.

I now have the urge to put my name on that Livejournal withlist for the elusive Vaporeon plush. It may have non-Japanese tags, but I may have to settle...

Hey guys, I checked out the Alderwood Pokemon Center yesterday - because that's officially what they are calling it! A POKEMON CENTER.

It's really just a bunch of kiosks with some stands for plushies, as seen in the photos. The prices are different, and they add in tax, which they did not do before (it was already figured into the price iirc). So stuff is marginally more expensive here - the plushies are more like $11 than $10. Etc.

They have what basically amounts to a Pokemon TCG section - chock full of booster packs and promo blisters that normally I wouldn't be able to find unless I hunted all over town for them all. They also have a fair stock of games, thick guides for the video games, and some demo DSes plus a demo of what I'm 99% sure is Pokemon Rumble for the Wii.

We made off with a Lugia, Raikou, Suicune, Entei and Flareon. <3

I said it before, and I'll say it again.

THIS NEEDS TO BE IN EVERY MALL IN AMERICA!!!

That is all.

I talked to the guys there about it - they said that things went well in Northgate, so we should expect stores just like this one to be popping up all over the country. Soon.

:)

Says who?

How long ago was it that we would have never thought we would get (another) one in the United States?

Nice... but I still miss the WOTC store.

I still have the cards the boy and I played with back in the day, I still have the Burger King plushies, and the Pikachu ball. And two copies of Trainer Deck B, but that's all that's left.

Kinda glad the game is still rolling twelve years later. We had a lot of fun with it.
