I think he's right.
He's showing cards like Dark Slowbro and Base Clefairy and talking about sell-ability - yeah, try to sell those for anything.
And technically he's correct that fewer kids are playing the game - fewer than when it was a fad. No game can keep up numbers like that. But where does Pokemon rank now with the player base? 2nd or 3rd behind Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh?
He doesn't know what he's talking about when he says the game is geared to the 6/7-11/12 year old range though.
From this guy's perspective (the ability for him to sell cards and make money) I'm sure he's spot on though. He just hasn't figured out how to make money on this game. He's stuck with his sports card paradigm and can't get out of it.
