I signed up yesterday and still havent got my email with my password.I tried signing up again but my POP ID is in the DB so it wont let me.
I clicked on the forgot password part and they sent me a email with my password but I havent gotten it yet its bin 3 hours atleast.
Who should I email to get my password?
 
Is your email program...or your ISP...set to filter such messages as SPAM and send them to a junkmail folder or reject them?

I understand that the rankings will change as more people register for "My Pokémon", but anyone know if the ratings are gonna change too? I mean, yesterday my modified rating was 1770, and since "My Pokémon" started showing the ratings, I'm down to 1754, although my modified ranking jumped from 62 to 24.

Also, anyone know which rating gets looked at when the invitations for Worlds go out? is it "Overall Ranking" or "Modified Ranking"?

For AOL, check your spam folder - my wife's wound up in her spam folder.
 
Does anyone remember if Nintendo said they would give invites to top 16 modified overall or per age group. Because now it can be divided by age group. :)
 
The POP site doesn't say specifically. To be consistent it should be the top 16 per age group. My son sure hopes so.

Here's another question, is it the top 16 in the US or the top 16 in the world?

I just got mine set up... Which reminds me, didn't the older system have a User Name function? I don't remember because I think it didn't work...

E-mail? I was able to log in without checking my e-mail... *checks e-mail now* Nope, just one SPAM e-mail.

*looks around on the site* Noo! All the POP ID's I had assigned to me are gone :( Now player #1000 will never exist (I only used up to 999 of the numbers I got assigned to me) :( Oh well... Maybe it's better that way?

*looks around some more* Wohoo!!! *takes a screenshot of him being ranked #4 in the state of Utah, the only time he'll have such a high ranking* Wait though... ONLY 4 people are listed on that page... *changes his mind, doesn't want a screenshot of him being ranked last in the state of Utah*

Oh well, overall it's a very nice design. Wohoo!
 
soo... umm, someone said something about having to sign up for My Pokemon in order to do stuff like Worlds and all that. So if someone isn't signed up on this website, they can't receieve a trip to worlds if they win a GC or something? I'm kinda puzzled...
 
Hmmm, this may be caused by the mass flow of e-mails to PUSA, but I have the same prob as Krayzie AND Venusaur. Only weird thing is that I show up on the list, yet I still haven't received anything...must be an AOL bug. I'll try hotmail =/

Also, I bet this is just another bug that may be fixed, but a good 27 points were missing from my rating. Again, I just think it's a bug, but I'd like to keep my points just for safety! =O

I think you have it right NikePK.

It looks like if you don't sign up your ratings are not included. No trips/invites for you!

I hope we see some answers regarding whether or not the "Top 16" will be from modified or overall. Also, I hope that Nintendo will set a cut off date so that we don't see a big change in the ratings the day before they check for Worlds invites.

(I have emailed my concerns to Nintendo.)

You are not alone. Same problemo. I emailed POP and am awaiting a response.

Thanks, Advisor. Since that is the case then, I think the word needs to be spread throughout leagues and at every tourney have someone emphasise getting registered on the site. Winning a GC w/o signing up for My Pokemon and not getting the trip would make a bunch of people mad, I'm sure.

Thats why PUI sent instructions and flyers to all TOs regarding the new sign-up process at the begining of the month. We knew about this for some time now but were not allowed to say a word about it until now.

Yea Im in the system also,but I never got a email.And my MF ranking dropped from 1814 to 1652 which is very not cool.Ive only lost twice in the past 2 tournies my rank shouldnt drop 75+pts from 2 losses especially when both ppl's rank are 1700+
 
Well, I'm wondering - will the invites go to T16 in a certain format (Limited, Modified, Unmodified) or the "overall" ranking (which is now available at My Pokemon)... :confused:

I AM glad they got the rankings to go 1, 2, 3, 4, instead of 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, :p

When I saw your post nikePK, it made me wonder if this was true, since that is pretty much what the instructions say when you sign up for your My Pokemon account. I e-mailed Dave Schwimmer and he confirmed that only those that sign up for a My Pokemon account AND check the box to allow their ratings and rankings to be shown will be considered for the extra stuff including invites to Worlds. All the more reason to get signed up right away!!!
